Jumping on the Rocky bagged a baddie bandwagon and designed Adrian. Yeah I am a sucker for the fandom HC that they are 1) bigger than rocky and 2) blue (daba di bada die). Also gave them the book×movie fusion treatment, so they have clothes AND tats.

Hc that Adrian is considered pretty cause their vents are varied in length, thus they have a larger vocal range than the average eridian, though I HC this isn't an uncommon mutation to have. Rocky still thinks they are a baddie through and through.

Back from hiatus to post some character studies of everyone's new favourite spacerock/crab/spider/nerd.

I kid you guys not, I watched the movie, then read the book, then listened to the audiobook, then RE-read the book (this time in Hungarian) while re-watching scenes on youtube. I didn't even know I liked sci-fi!

Anyways I love all renditions of my rock son. Both the nerd and the chad rendition is amaze amaze amaze. Speaking of, here is an additional joke I had in my head about his outfits:

Beware of anyone who tries to isolate you.

Beware of anyone who tells you no one else will ever love you like they will, that no one else will ever accept you.

Beware of anyone that tells you life is nothing but pain, or that there is no hope.

Hopeless, lonely people are easily controlled.

I know things are scary right now. I'm scared too.

Look out for people who WANT you scared.

Try to find spaces that make you feel like change is possible. Look for people who make you feel empowered to do something!

Thinking about "You're have no immediate family. You dont even have a dog." And like duh thats devestating, but theres also the fact that the people telling him this are people hes been working with for 4 years at this point. Theres this quiet implication thats not just "you have no family no pets and no partners therefore you have no one to leave behind" its also "we, your coworkers who you might have called friends and who have been at your side while we all save the world for close to half a decade, are not close enough to you to even be mentioned in Stratts little speech. We will not stop this, we wont even protest or apologize. You have no friends at you side in your final moments." And i think thats even more heartbreaking honestly.
