one of the worst things about fandom is when people headcanon a certain character as gay and suddenly that becomes the only valid, practically unofficial-official canon reading of that character's sexuality. gay. just gay. character has shown romantic or sexual desire for women? it's comphet, don't worry, he's still gay. character isn't interested in sex much at all? it's because he hasn't fucked a man, obviously. character has lots of women friends? they are the hags to his fag, he's gay, why are you even trying. and it all seems like a very Transformative and Woke way to read a character until you step back and realize how much biphobia, acephobia, misogyny, and transphobia are baked into the adamant refusal to accept The Character as anything other than gay. it's horrendous, actually. but you will get shot in the streets for this.

i dont technically have "ocs" but i have a general idea of what id look like in that universe!! ive drawn myself a few times and maybe one day ill work up the courage to post doodles here again but here's the rundown:

all black gown, very victorian-esc (high neck, button down, lace details). i probably found it in a thrift store at some point. smells musty and old. doesn't look comfortable but ill always promise you it is

theres probably a corset underneath that to define the figure & keep my chest protected

for a hat, i think it would look a little similar to a witch's one but also giving beach day barbie (im an avid hat collector irl so i have the exact one im thinking about lol). its floppy and gets knocked around a lot but its good to throw at people

im probably carrying around a crossbody purse so that i look more like a lady going out on the town. theres totally hard-earned cash, some chapstick, and some loose trinkets in there - and some bandaids and tissues, "just in case"

the knife i carry is concealed with a garter under my dress. element of surprise, amirite?

clicky-clacky victorian lace up boots to complete the look. you could probably hear me clacking from a mile away so sometimes i have to walk very slow and deliberately. please dont make me step on you!!

for extra accessories, im always wearing rings. big, small, in between...they're pretty and make for good nasty punches ^__^

ive thought this plot out so many times please dont get me started. alex would probably approach me first with some creepy remark and id give him sass. it catches him off guard because he's not used to any women talking back to him like that, not in a public way. so naturally, hes interested in what i have to offer. we end up hitting it off real well...i meet his friends...we all "share" everything. like, absolutely everything. im fine with it as long as im getting paid and they make me laugh. blah blah blah yap yap yap

ive been trying to get offline and actually live in the moment. its more for personal reasons than just to "stop thinking" about aco but the more i pretend that screens dont exist in my world the more i feel closer to alex. go fucking figure right lmfao

the more time i spend by myself the more i realize that at one point i had a home that isn't here. there's a version of me out there that's living the life in the decade she wants to with the man she loves most and shes so happy. manifestation is real but so are other realities that have been made completely out of my control, and i cant help but think that in one SPECIFIC reality i am the most happiest. ill never achieve that here.

on a completely different tangent, i feel like i accidentally created something that IS out of my control. whether one sees it as a demon or some manifestation of my psyche i dont know but i know that it watches me. sometimes i can feel it. its not always there but when i ask for it to give me a sign, its usually there. it used to scare the shit out of me and i didnt even know how to explain it (honestly i still dont lol) but now its just like. ok yeah. hiii again! yes you are real and know me and can hear me somehow!!! wtf!!!!

ive been feeling really bad about my affections/obsession with aco/alex as of late. i know i annoy my friends and make them uncomfortable and i cant even blame them. this "problem" of liking deeply flawed men is something i struggle with on the daily. no, i dont actually want a rapist or child molester as a bf. what i want is someone thats got the same mental struggles (intrusive thoughts, etc) as i do but doesnt actually act on them. i want someone that sexually fucked up like me. i want someone sick in the head but only wants to share the sickness with me instead of inflicting it on the rest of the world.

and then i log onto here. i look at how many people view my blogspot and how many notifs i have on here, thinking that someone would say something terrible (and probably true), but no one has. like literally either nobody gaf or people are just like ok cool. it feels normal. it feels okay. is this an echo chamber if its just me talking to myself? do i want someone to tell me that im crazy or should get help? is this a cry for help or cry for validation? i dont know. i just want him again. i want to go home

apologies for the lack of posting/writing!! ive been having some crazy up-and-down moments in my personal life (unrelated to aco, shockingly) :,) i still very much adore alex and im trying to still make time for us but it's been hard.

the good news is that i am trying to focus on other creative endeavors of mine that have been ignored for far too long. i know that my fixation on aco isn't the healthiest coping mechanism in the world so im actually really proud of myself for using my creative energy in other fields that aren't related to this.

here's some pics i took on another walk recently this one was on my favorite trail. i was a bit short on time so ill have to go back at some point to take more :P

Just checking all my photos and seeing that this thing of me drawing my favorite books or books I'm reading is not anything new.

Tho this is heavily inspired by the movie.

But, both the book and the movie are amongst my favorites of all time. I was a little emo and deeply inspired by Clockwork orange that used violence to shock, had main characters that were morally tainted and the books tackled what it feels to be outside of the normal and peaceful human experience.
