Alternate universe where he is constantly held
Even villains have moments of tenderness. Reblog if you support the idea that ‘evil’ muses should not be forced to always be the villain in every verse and thread. That there’s more to them than being the antagonist to hero muses and exploring the other side of a dark muse makes for interesting interactions and character developments for both partners.
Reveal
The Master is very good at shielding and disguising his telepathic presence.
The first thing Ten says when he meets Thirteen!
Ok but imagine if instead:
Ten: Still not ginger?
Thirteen, straight faced: Actually I am, but I dyed it blonde.
Ten, completely betrayed, devastated, already thinking about how to change his choices to escape this cursed future:
oops, my hand slipped
He’s cute :(
This is the moment that really drove it home. It’s the reality the Master has always had to live with. The truth that the Doctor had always denied or tried to avoid.
And in this moment the Master hears her say the words he’s thought a thousand times. He knows what she really thinks of him because in the grand scheme of things, he’s so very small in her life.
It’s why the Doctor left him on Gallifrey to begin with.
He is unimportant, to the Doctor, to his people, to the universe.
That face is not shock. It’s almost resignation. She’s only confirming what he’s known since he was a quiet boy in the academy.
He’s always been the unimportant one, the expendable one.
The universe has always needed the Doctor, and for that, he’ll make sure to burn it to the ground.
sacha confirming the master loves the doctor and being very soft whilst doing it.
