Going crazy thinking about Tenna and The Pipis.

Because it represents Tenna’s whole mental state so perfectly that its even mirrored in the plastic capsules he later traps the kids and Toriel in. The pipis wont ever hatch because he doesnt want it to. He wants to keep his daughter safe and secure and entirely dependent on him.

The Pipis represents the good years. That Pipis holds all his memories of being the whole family’s focus point, being a big shot, being with Spamton. And all those good times should be preserved. Kept safe and tucked away where Tenna and Tenna only can look after them. Why on earth would he let the only thing that he KNOWS loves him back unconditionally, grow up and leave him too.

Tenna is terrified of change and the Pipis is a great inside look for his entire deal.
