There are two types of people who refuse to elaborate on things

XtY terms to me are like "i am transitioning from seeing myself one way to seeing myself another" rather than like. implying that someone is defined by what they were assigned at birth.

so to me the whole "AGAB identity" thing just feels weird and off. AGAB is about an event. gender imposition is a process that is ongoing throughout life, and intersex people are a good example of that process... unfortunately.

for example we have a term, RGAB, meaning reassigned gender after birth. i was reassigned female hormonally as a teenager while they knew I didnt identify as one - implying I did not then fit binary female assignment, not just with identity, but with the help of my intersex variation.

basically, AGAB is the first act of imposing gender. that's all. your identity as a trans person is impacted by that, but it is not defined by it. we chose our identities in spite of our assignments or imposed genders. and no, i dont mean the feelings behind that identity is a choice.

i mean that we choose to give voice to who we are, not just who others have forced us to be. that is what identity terms are for. it's not about what gender you were assigned at birth. its about you, as a full living being.

it's called an "id"entity for a reason lol. if you find AGAB relevant to your identity, that's fine. not an issue at all. if you don't, that's okay too.

the beautiful thing about life is that it's normal to be different. everyone is.
