She’s spent a good Decade in Japan to earn her rights through the language, despite all the unwanted attention and harassment that went her way. His response was… new, different even, but Estella knows it’s not the one she was looking for, which allows for a small pout to tug at her plump lips.

One of her hands returns to resting on her hips before she continues. “Don’t worry about that either. I can understand you just fine.” Cue a small laugh, though the nerves seemed to still linger despite the words that she aired. We all know that most of these nerves could be shoved aside for being interested in the specimen at the very least; cloudy hair with the most striking ruby hues. That said expensive, and she liked expensive, because Estella knew that she was a luxury that should be matched with other luxuries.

There is a pause, and she thinks.

“I like what you’re wearing. Is it designer?”

And when can it come off.

Oh? He must have been wrong--the tachi stares expectantly, peering over the rim of sunglasses. He’s got miles of patience---he’s willing to wait out Ella’s shyness, and if she hasn’t figured that out now, she certainly will eventually. “My apologies for assuming,” comes a smooth response, padding out conversation in that passively powerful way that he’s seemed to master.

“Oh? Ah, thank you---I’m not sure....well, I guess so, in the sense that it’s unique and exclusive.” It’s one way to phrase it---not that he particularly had a choice, but it’s simply what he had...felt he would look like after being risen from his artifact self. Sanchoumou was, quite literally, a luxury very few could afford. A treasure, for that matter. A national one ( granted, he was too humble to declare such things---his actions were more his preference ). Very much up her alley, unbeknownst to him.

“I can appreciate someone who can take care of themselves as nicely as you do,” he adds, but it’s genuine at least. “It’s not often I get to admire uniqueness. It’s a pleasant change of pace.” He smiles some---she’s not planning on leaving him alone anytime soon, is she? “...and you are? If you plan on accompanying me, I may as well having something to call you.”

He smiles. Well, that might not have been far from the truth, in actuality. Ichimonji certainly had a way of....organizing things, on top of their association with...wealth.

Sanchoumou’s voice is met with a blink– her features now dusted with the daintiest of pinks. Words seem to be failing her at the moment, but, that was fine; it’s not like there was a way where the Japanese language could translate the hunger in her eyes when staring at this fine specimen.

“I…”

Shit. Looks like she’s resorting to English. “…Don’t think so.” Was he fluent? Estella hopes he was fluent. That would make pouncing so much easier. Though, we know that her words were failing her, so all she can really do is continue to twirl her hair, hoping that he knew how to act on the charm his older features painted.

It’s unnerving, but at least she’s not a threat---it seems to be more foreboding in a different sense. At least, Sanchoumou’s expression doesn’t reflect his observations, but if anything, it’s curious. An old man as he was, it’s not like he himself had really seen what his previous masters had. In other words, the fact Ella wanted to figuratively take a bite out of him had flown right over his head for the time being. Innocent, no, but...simply unaware.

Ah...it sounded like English---that wasn’t his strong suit outside of anything beyond visits to recent history. A hand comes to brush against slicked back hair---she’s fluent, so it’s not like she can’t understand him. Maybe it’s conversational. “Is that so?” he responds in native tongue, his educated guess was something along the lines of no, “I apologize, English isn’t something I know very well. I’m old-fashioned, you see.” She keeps twirling her hair though... nervousness ( guess he can’t blame her )? “Hopefully I’m not scaring you.”

( ah.... maybe i’m too obvious even in casual wear? ) Sanchoumou frowns some---this was supposed to be just some free time outside of the walls of the citadel, minding his own business and perhaps picking up something nice for a few fellow toudan though, but....she clearly looking at him. Does she know...or... “Is there something I can help you with...?” the tachi asks slowly, noticing rather quickly that even she seems to be misplaced here as well.
