Anyone else have a genuine phobia of wearing revealing or risqué clothes? Like I want to dress in the latest fashion trends and be cute just because, but any time I put on an outfit with a cleavage-exposing neckline or something potentially "booty short", flashbacks of middle & high school come pouring in. When teachers would do wardrobe inspections and bust out rulers to measure hemlines and tank top strap width. An infraction resulted in a visit to the principal, who would deem you inappropriate or not and send you home for the prior. Because where I'm from at least, the focus was never on actually learning. It was all on playing by the "rules". Gender rules, dress codes, status quos...
I see others, beautiful women, men, queens, kings, non-binaries, and more that rock their styles, their looks, their clothes. Revealing or not, I'm awed and inspired by these brave individuals. Brave because in my world, that low-cut top, that short dress, those tight fitting pants, those high heels and that backless romper are all so daring and naughty.
Maybe one day I will strut with the beauties in this world. Maybe one day.
