I GOT MY BLOG BACK!

After 3 days of losing this account and waiting for staff to help me recover it (in a surprisingly quick amount of time), I can finally log back in as furashuban!

As for what I'm going to do now with my alt blog @kraenafolk, I definitely wanna keep it around still as a backup. From here on it's going to remain dormant but I'm also gonna be pinning ideas on what other ways I can use it; I felt a lot of safety from all the stress I dealt with when I created and used it following the scam, so I can't bring myself to abandon kraenafolk fully sdfgsgdw

Thanks a ton to everyone for giving me reassurance and being supportive throughout all this, it really helped things feel kinder when I needed it and it all means a lot, and I can rest soundly now that everything's okay and this account survived <33

Putting "Ghibli-inspired" on a high shelf until the people talking about it as if it means "generic coziness and nothing else" have watched more Ghibli movies

#it really be saddening when people reduce Ghibli films to only plain cozy films when like #even the cozy films in question are portrayals and commentary on serious and personal issues people go through #Kiki and WOTH ranges from burnout. struggles with self-esteem and identity plus the costs of dedicating yourself to your creative pursuits #-especially by making it your career in life #the former I eventually realized can honest to god be an anti-capitalist critique portraying the alienation of a worker from their labor #speaking of Ghibli as critiques on social issues #by god HALF of their discography is overtly anti-war #Princess Kaguya? misery of the patriarchy and imposed social expectations on women and girls again its shown very overtly #i know theres truth to the whole ghibli = cozy stuff #but it'd be incorrect to only define Ghibli by thst alone based on mere visuals when theres so much more to them narratively + stylistically #of which wont always be 'cozy' but they will be resonant
