Has anyone else gotten so mad about the quality of something that they thought they could do it better themselves? ‘Cause Seven Deadly Sins has got me fuming!
So I’m rewriting it all for spite fueled fun! The gods, the powers, the relationships, the designs, even what it means to be a Seven Deadly Sin; it’s all getting messed with! It’ll be nothing ever finished, just pieces every so often, but look forward to it.
And for my teaser bit:
All that jewelry you see are the cursed items that bind the members of the Seven Deadly Sins to their oaths. They are magically stuck in the service of whoever sits on the throne of Liones, along with the other 6 laws that I actually bothered to fully write out. Those jewelry pieces are physically stuck on the Sins until they are released from their oaths by whoever’s on the throne.
On the rest of the page, we have King, who is the most fleshed out of the Sins right now. He’s a fairy from the Fairy Realm, the Fairy King’s Forest, that was charged by the human kingdom Liones (in mainland Britannia) for being involved in a long term human/fairy conflict. He was well known enough on mainland Britannia for leaving the Forest and roaming the outskirts of lesser fairy woods.
When Liones was putting him on (a rigged) trial, they couldn’t get the Fairy King Harlequin to show up to defend him. King was too confidently adamant that the king wouldn’t show, saying that after a human killed his Twin he wouldn’t want anything to do with humans. Then he threw out a good old “how do you know he didn’t order us fairies to hunt humans for him?” and got made fun of for thinking he knows what a Fairy King would want, hence why he’s called King (he eventually embraced the name but it definitely started on a sour note).
What nobody knows (except Meliodas, Merlin, and Bartra) is that King is Fairy King Harlequin! This kid form of his is a disguise he keeps up for two reasons: 1) a human kingdom not even part of the Human Realm accusing the Fairy King of a crime is like some rando putting the Supreme Deity in jail and 2) Diane haaaates the Fairy King. One of those issues is bigger than the other and King firmly believes it’s the second. Almost all of King and Diane’s rewritten will-they-won’t-they is now about King hiding his identity and Diane’s beef with him.
That’s all for now, hopefully more art forthcoming!

This is my favorite attack I've done this year! I really like mistyponds' artstyle and her characters are super cool!
#2 - Rory for charmbracelet
I also really like how this one turned out! I really like drawing wings :D
#3 - Alula for the_safireeye
I really like how the hair and face turned out, but you can tell I was tired when I drew the rest lol. I still like it, though.
#4 - Sclerite for beansreligion
Im not sure why I put so much extra effort into this one, but this is one of my favorites of the year. I like drawing ponies, but I have GOT to try different poses next year.
#5 - Phoenix for AliasArt
Oh my god this one was a revenge for a SUPER cool attack of my ocs Andy, Storm, and Harper. AliasArt's art style is so cool! I remember struggling a bit on this revenge, but I think it turned out cute.
#6 - Piper for jeorange
This is my first attack using this art style! I used it for one of my Pokemon ocs awhile back and thought I'd dust it off for this revenge. This is another one of my favorite attacks ive done this year.
#7 - Mihr for Phillip
I struggled to pick just one oc here, and i almost didnt pick Mihr because she already had a few attacks, but I couldnt resist. Mihr is super cute and i like drawing overalls :D Also I REALLY like Phillips artstyle
#8 - Rusty & Cooper for strawberryspikez & pavlovsdog
I was in a good mood and wanted to get out of my comfort zone for this one, so I drew two characters. I really like the result of this one, especially considering I almost never draw two characters interacting even this much. (Going to work on that)
#9 - Lex for somerm
Somerm's art style is super cool! They drew my ocs Andy and Lizzi together and I really like it! I didnt want to do two characters again bc that took a lot out of me, but I tried to put more effort into the details of this revenge. I also slightly changed up her outfit for more unity in the piece, and the pants are inspired by G3 Core Refresh Lagoona from monster high :D
#10 - Ava for Vilfire
Oh my god Vilfire? Put so much effort into their attack on me?? Like they included bonus sketches and stuff in the PM and created a whole new outfit for Silas??! So I did extra in return! I drew a couple outfits for Ava and used props, plus I actually did concept sketches instead of just jumping into it headfirst :D
At this point in the fight, I was starting to get burnt out. Literally right after I finished this piece I added to my page that I was done for the year. I still like how this piece turned out, but I wish I had had the energy to do more
#12 - Gijinka Kirby for MetaruuPrimeboys
And for my least favorite attack ive done all year. I said I was done for the year after the previous revenge, and i really should've listened to myself. I hate this piece so much that I actually plan to attack this person again next year just to redeem myself. I do like the concept of the piece, but the execution just didnt work because I was burnt out and didnt stop myself.
And thats it! I like most of the pieces I did this year, and I like every single attack I got this year! Hopefully Team Fossils wins, but even if we dont, I know in my heart we're better because we have dinosaurs on our side :]

This is Avery Grisweald! She's one of the main characters of my story Stardust! I've finally started actually fleshing out more of the characters than Silas (main character), and maybe someday there will be an actual story lol
At the time of posting this, Avery's toyhouse page is still WIP, but here's the link anyway :D

A great travel companion! Made with a wooden cloth pin, a toothpick, some glue, and some blood (optional and not preferred). They are small and will fit in Altoid tin or any small trinket box too. Mine is in a vintage trinket box that reminds me of random things I'd find in my grandma's drawer.
✤ Things You Need ✤
DOLL BODY
A wooden cloth pin
A wooden toothpick (round kinds are better than flat kinds)
Wood cutting knife that is sharp
Precision saw
PVA glue or wood glue
A drill bit at the size of the thickness of your toothpick
Fine sand paper
Cut-protroection glove on your doll-holding hand
Pencil
DOLL FACE (optional if you paint your doll face instead of carving):
A small drill bit at the size of the doll's eyes you prefer
OPTIONAL THINGS:
Rotatory tool for sanding and refining (helps with hand / wrist pain)
✤ To make a Cloth Pin Peg Doll ✤
Cloth pins are wood pieces already in almost the shape of a doll. The head and legs are there. You just need to cut the two pins (the doll legs) to your prefered length, keeping in mind to cut it at a place where the leftover pins are long enough to be reused as doll arms.
0) Before you start, wear a cut resistant safety glove on your doll-holding hand.
1) I carved the leg shape first on the pins, but you can skip the carving if you want your doll even more minimalist. Make stop-cuts (carving term) at where the doll legs end on the pins. Then start carving away the back and front of the legs, but leave some uncarved space at the bottom front for its feet.
2) Cut the pin legs into desirable length with precision saw, but leave enough cut wood that will be long enough to be your doll's arms.
3) The excess cut pin legs will be your doll's arms. Carve them into desirable arm shapes. (Photo below showing right piece of wood carved into the left piece).
4) Use your drill bit in the size of your toothpick thickness to drill a hole at the shoulder of your doll body.
5) Drill 2 more holes on your carved doll arms, stop the hole at halfway through the arm without completely puncturing them.
6) Cut the toothpick into a length that fits through the doll's shoulder hole, with a little extra length to be glued into the doll arm holes.
Note: My doll's arms can only swing together and not separately. If you'd like yours to swing separately, you will have to drill the arm holes all the way through each arm, allow the doll arms to fit through the toothpick like beads, then add a stopper of some kind at the ends of the toothpick to keep the arms on without restricting its swinging movement.
7) Now is a good time to give the doll body and arms a good sanding, as well as sanding the toothpick ends flat. I used my rotary tool to sand and refine harder to reach areas like the inner calves of the doll.
8) Put the tootpick through the doll's shoulder hole
9) Attach each arm onto each end of the toothpick with glue. Careful to keep glue away from the shoulder hole so the toothpick can swing freely
10) Wait for glue to dry
Note: The doll is almost ready at this stage. All it needs is a face. I carved mine, but that is optional and it can be painted on instead
11) At the half point of the doll's head, make a stop-cut. Start carving the left and right side of the doll face flat from the base of the face, leaving the middle uncarved for a little. As the cheeks flatten, once there is enough nose protrusion, make a stop-cut at the end of the nose. Then also carve the mouth and chin area down flat. The face will be kind of a U shape, flat under the brow ridge
12) Carefully mark down where you want the eyes to be. I aimed for the middle of the brow width and middle of the nose length
13) Use the drill bit of what you want the doll eyes size to be, drill the eyes out. The deeper the holes are, the darker the eyes will be
Artfight website is already down lmao so here's my Toyhouse if anyone wants to see my characters! Any of them are okay to attack, but only a few have their own separate Artfight page
