im highposting but i think the way that people depict kre/rdly is what kriselle actually is. childhood friends who grew up playing video games together and kris plays pranks on noelle/ragebaits her, have drifted apart but still care deeply for each other and want to be close again, both torturing themselves to ridiculous degrees because they can’t admit they love each other. and you just know that when they’re in a relationship noelle is teasing and making fun of kris just as much as they tease her (and we already see her teasing kris as early as chapter 1 but especially chapter 2 when they spend all that time alone together), and they fucking love it. and kris can, on occasion, express their love for noelle in that bumbling but deeply tender way that she has always loved them

it's been one of those days where drummer susie gaster deltarune has been on the brain again so i thought it would be fun to create in drumstructor a realistic drumset i imagine she would play 😼😼😼
big yap about the drumset under cut
first of all, the most obvious details of course: a delta rune on the bass drum and a dark green color on the shells as a callback to the original lightners live drumset from the game
a shiny chrome finish on the shells inspired by mario duplantier from gojira's kit, mostly just because susie would probably think it looks sick and also stage lights would reflect beautifully off of them
of course, especially for metal you gotta have a double bass drum pedal since a vast majority of songs call for it
snare drum:
the snare drum would probably be either a steel or brass snare drum, kinda indecisive on that. regardless both options are good considering susie would probably focus a lot on rock and metal and both metals work great because they give the snare drum a very punchy and present tone, especially if you do rimshots.
toms:
i was also a little bit indecisive on the rack toms. my first idea was to have only one and then the two floor toms in a john bonham-esque configuration but tbh you can never go wrong with two rack toms and also including both AND the two floors opens up possibilities for some pretty cool chops and fills
cymbals:
first thing that came to mind when adding the cymbals was the placement. they're all strategically set in a way where they're perfectly fit for smashing your head into them LOL, especially the crashes and the china. it's also inspired a bit by taylor hawkins's kit (rip) which had fairly varied heights on the cymbals
susie is too cool to pigeonhole herself into a single cymbal brand so instead we got a frankenstein monster of zildjian, paiste and meinl, more on those now:
zildjian 16" A custom crash & 18" A custom projection crash: tried and true crash cymbals, can't go wrong with these. they open up great and have a very powerful sound when you really lay into them which works great seeing as susie would probably use these a lot. they've also got the advantage of having a brilliant finish which makes them pretty much look like mirrors and under stage lights they look cool as hell
paiste 2002 13" sound edge hi-hats: very crisp hihats with a very bright and strong response when used open, john bonham used this model so you know they've got power on them heh
paiste 2002 22" power ride: perfect ride cymbal for rock and metal, very clear stick definition and the bell is loud, clear and pingy which is ideal for those genres, also has the added bonus of a really nice deep crash tone so if you think about it susie would have 3 crashes with this 👀
meinl classics custom dual 18" china: very explosive china cymbal without sounding too trashy either, pretty well rounded for using in accents or really nasty breakdowns, also the mix of the dark color in the center and brilliant finish on the outside looks really cool so it's got that aesthetics bonus like the A customs 😝
meinl byzance brilliant 8" splash & paiste 2002 6" cup chime: these are really just for effects, not obligatory for the rock and metal genres as a whole but you can use them for cool details during the music for stuff like fills
