hiiiiii it's me. mich teruthecreator. i made this sideblog bc the URL was too good to pass up and also i want a place to scream about deltarune (mostly berdkris). basic info about me is as follows:

my second favorite character is berdly, unsurprisingly

my favorite ship is berdkris

my favorite chapter is probably 2, followed closely by 3

i will probably just use this blog as a place to scream about berdkris and berdkris-related things, so fair warning for that. everything will be tagged so you're free to peruse to your liking. i will not tag spoilers for old chapters.

Oh, him? Yeah thats just Berdly. Yeah the only lightener to be fully active an entire chapter and never be under the player’s leadership. The only character who can be essentially killed when diverging from the main story. And one of the only major characters to be entirely omitted from the prophecy. Yeah, when you play the video game backstage in chapter 3, a blue bird that you can’t kill blocks you from continuing until you freeze it. And he had a ‘leader’ egg on his desk that every egg you collect follows. Uh huh, he could also heavily connect to whole escapism aspect of deltarune and what thats trying to say. And if you want to explore themes of neglect, well, he has the potential for that too. Yeah, he also has extensive video game knowledge in a video game meta narrative. He draws parallels between himself and the main character Kris, while also being the only character to be fully connected to who Kris is in the moment (aka no past baggage and minimal player/prophecy influence)* and, though they butt heads, does seem to genuinely respect them. He’s the other blue knight. Kris is the other blue bird. After you freeze him in Snowgrave, flavor text keeps popping up that references him in general and specifically his knowledge for video games. In a meta narrative. Setting aside relationships ((a big ask)), he’s the only thing that really meaningfully changes in the Snowgrave route. At the end of chapter 2, his icon is a question mark while everyone else’s is their face, something played for a gag but hey. You never know. Yeah, don’t worry, he’s not important.

i kind of feel bad for abandoning this blog but also new dialtown dlc dropped and i had to scamper back to phone world. and now im also smoking the everhood pack again (which is a game every deltarune fan on earth should play). but make no mistake when chapter 5 drops i will (probably) return and hit that berdkris bottle again

dialtown olandy dlc came out so i have been pondering the reality of the lightners post-dialup and i dont have concrete ideas for most of them because i dont know phone/typewriter types off the top of my head, but i DID have the idea that kris has a cuckoo clock for a head. instead of a bird coming out when it strikes the hour its the soul!
