Can’t stop thinking about my little show so my thoughts are now all of yours to witness-

You think when Buck went to Chim about his addiction Chim was transported back to when Buck got electrocuted? That feeling of seeing his little brother dead laying on the stretcher having to be resuscitated so strongly in his subconscious that he would do anything to make sure he got help so he wouldn’t have to find Buck in a position like that again?

Haven’t been able to see these two episodes of 9-1-1 because I’m trying to focus on my last two classes in college and oh god do I miss it. Like the classes aren’t objectively hard (speech and bus. stats) but they are somehow making me fall apart 😵‍💫 I need my firefighters going through horrible experiences so I can feel again

Please let me know if I should prepare myself for the episodes (two more weeks before I can watch them 😣)

In a modern AU, Merlin is definitely that friend who just drops the most insane side quests in a group chat.

He woke up the others (Arthur, Morgana, and Guinevere) at 3 AM once with a message saying “Guy I met at the bar started a fight with some dick. In the ER getting a stitch or two” with an attached picture of Gwaine and him, thumbs up smiling and shit.

Plans were being made and when asked if he was free he mentioned how he got roped into subbing a high school class (They didn’t even know he had a teaching degree???)

Genuinely think Merlin just does things and never mentions them like AT ALL unless he’s prompted in a very specific way.

Started rewatching Merlin and I’m not even done with season 1 and I forgot how insane this show is about Merlin being able to just do shit 😭

Like he picked a fight with the prince only to then save him, become his servant and continue to save him a few more times. Then what, you ask? Arthur STICKS UP for Merlin, and actively ignores his father’s say so going into danger to save said servant and later his home village/town.

Like Merlin also helped Lancelot to join the knights which could easily be traced back to him and he’s just chilling

Not to mention Morgana also willing to go with Merlin to his home village.

Dude just got the prince and ward being besties with him and everyone just went “yeah that’s normal and alls good. Just Merlin things 👍”

So I’ve seen some people talk about a child because of a spoilers? And I feel like although I would LOVE dad Buck it’s not going to happen.

Because if we go by lone star’s last season (idk how accurate it is so obviously bare with me) the social worker for TK’s brother asked about the job and how dangerous it was as a firefighter(and Texas ranger). Then she also brought up TK’s addiction, which she said wouldn’t be an issue if he was up for random testing but Buck has barely started to recover.

I think with all that and him being single, the child arc probably won’t happen. But this is also a show who had a child landing a plane and then going to space so fuck my logic honestly 💀 it could still happen

Buddie Canon episode is set with the ‘5+1’ fic trope but it happens throughout the whole episode. It’s like vaguely changed styles of Eddie and Buck interacting and just randomly cuts to ‘HELP! My friend is hung out of the window’ or just other crazy calls with there being basically 0 action to those two so it just gets to be an edge fest until the ‘+1’ happens.

Maybe they’re having dinner (again) but this time the change is Chris, because what is Buddie without him? Like he says “goodnight dads” instead of the usual “goodnight dad and Buck” and the other past subtle changes are highlighted while they stare at each other. That’s when they realize that, fuck maybe the right person was in front of me the whole time. The person who has seen me at my worst and has helped me by stepping into that mess was always here.

Something that’s been going around my head is Buck in this past episode helping the others with errands as a way to thank them for helping him. (And I’m glad Maddie mentioned that they did that because they love him)

But it made me question how he went about asking the others. Because Maddie is his sister and with their close bond I highly doubt she would question Buck when he came around asking for things to do. She understands that man to his atoms so she understands why he’s doing it and accepts it immediately, list in hand.

Chim and Hen would definitely come second/third in getting asked because they also play a big sibling role in Buck’s life so although they might hesitate in the beginning, they’re quick to realize Buck needs this right now. Something to keep him busy. But also know him wanting to thank them is better than having him feeling down on himself so they sigh with a smile and hand him their lists.

Eddie is asked last. Not because Buck thinks he’ll turn the offer down but because Eddie sees Buck in a way the others don’t. He noticed Buck wasn’t himself but because he didn’t mention anything Eddie is taking on that guilt (even though he repeats what Hen told him, he still has that feeling deep within him) Eddie worries about Buck taking too much on so he doesn’t want to add to that and the others’ lists. So after 30 minutes of ‘are you sure?’ and ‘Eddie I’m fine, I just want to help!’ (Totally dramatic if you asked Chris) Eddie finally gives in because in that half hour he took in every word and movement Buck made and noted he was truly okay with everything. (One of the things on his list is just ‘dessert’ because damn can Buck bake)

I don’t think Athena, and by extension Harry/May, would accept Buck doing their errands just because Athena knows his limits and wouldn’t want to overload the guy even when he says he’s fine with a few more things.

Ravi is honestly a toss for me because while they are close and Ravi would understand Buck wanting to not think about his job(or lack there of) I don’t think he’d want Buck to do his errands. Like Ravi offhandedly mentioned owning condos, he would not want to mix all of that into this found family situation he’s become a part of.

All in all in my mind Buck went about to each of their houses and as soon as the door was opened he went, “Hi! Here’s some cookies, what can I help you with?” Or he, very on brand, knew/remembered exactly what they needed to have done and just had to convince them to let him do it.

ALSO! I like that everyone’s immediate thoughts and actions when they found out Chim was the target and they were used as a form of evidence were, “Hey! Let’s find the issue and not report it to our one cop friend! Let’s actually go ourselves!” And then they break into a scene (which you shouldn’t go into due to being unstable?)

Love that they saved those people with no casualties! But if they found nothing they would have 100% put Chim in an even worse position and then ALSO themselves in hot water
