My account got brought back!!!

I’ve been updating a lot on the blog @kubby-and-kozy, so here’s a basic recap of everything that’s happened:

Event: Monodam’s Crush

Chibi ran after Monodam, who was upset because of what had happened. She told him that she liked him back.

Monodam felt as though he didn’t deserve her love because of what he had done in the past. To convince him otherwise, Chibi kissed him and assured him that she loved him.

The two began dating and decided to hang out in Monodam’s room for a little while.

Event: Truth or Dare!

Back downstairs, the Kubs and Scarlet continue playing truth or dare. Monokid is suddenly asked in a truth about why he bullies Monodam so much.

Anons begin to suspect that his reasons for bullying Monodam have to do with his own fears and insecurities. They seem to be right on the money, as Monokid is completely speechless by this.

Monosuke tries to ask if he’s okay, but Monokid(who is now crying) yells at everyone to shut up before storming off. Monosuke decides to go with him.

Monosuke: Monokid..? You in there?

(There’s no response, but Monosuke hears quiet sniffling from behind the door.)

Monosuke: Ok.. I’m just gonna wait here until you’re ready to.. uh.. talk or something.. (He sits down, his back against the door.)

Monotaro: ...Maybe we should play something else?

Monokid, I bet inside, you're not as tough as you act. You bully others to hide your weaknesses and fears. You're worried that showing your flaws will only make you a target. I was alot like you when I was younger. I was insecure about having a learning disability, and as I result, I acted out and attacked those who weren't as strong as me. In the end, I was all alone cause people were scared of me. Once I stopped being a jerk and showed my true self, I actually felt alot better about myself.

(The kubs read this and turn to look at Monokid. For once, he is completely silent.)

Monophanie: I never thought about it like that..

Monokid: ... (He holds his face in one hand, rubbing his temples. He seems to be rather upset.)

Monosuke: ...Monokid? (He gets up and approaches Monokid, trying to get his attention.) Are you oka—

(Monokid suddenly looks up and shouts.)

(He storms off, leaving the Kubs shocked and worried.)

Monotaro: What just happened..?

(Monosuke quickly follows after Monokid.)

Monophanie: Well...

Nano and Nani: Well, you’re not the smartest! But you try your best!

Monotaro: Yeah! Nano and Nani are right!

Monokid: ...Ok, maybe I do stupid things sometimes! Big fucking deal!

Monokid: ...I-I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about-!

Nani: Is he okay?

Nano: He‘s a bit on edge..

Monophanie: Alright.. why are you always so mean to Monodam?

Monokid: I mean, have you even seen him? Why wouldn’t I act like that with him?!

Monokuma: I’m so proud of him~

*meanwhile, back with the others*

Monosuke: (He returns to the group.) ‘Prentice told me she and Monodam were gonna hang out upstairs for a bit.

Monophanie: The two of them, alone in a room together~? I wonder what they could be doing?

Monophanie: I wouldn’t be surprised~

Monosuke: Probably not.. when I checked on them, they were hugging but I don’t think they were gonna take things that far.

Monokid: Who the fuck cares? Let’s just get back to the game!

Monotaro: Uhhh.. what game were we playing?

Nano and Nani: Truth or Dare!

Monotaro: Oh right! Let’s keep playing that then!

//Mod here! Allow me to explain: Monosuke does have a small crush on Chibi which is why he was a bit sad for a moment, but he’ll eventually get over his crush because he knows Chibi and Monodam are happy together and that he’ll eventually find someone he loves too one day. Not sure if that makes too much sense but ye that’s pretty much it XD it’s not really gonna be a big part of the blog though

KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE

As she slowly pulled away from the kiss, Monodam couldn’t help but stare at Chibiprentice in utter confusion.

“...Why did you do that?”

“Because I needed a way to show you that I really do love you,” Chibi replied with a soft smile. The two of them sat down on the bed, a brief silence falling over them.

And then Chibi spoke once more. “Why don’t you think you’re the one I should love?”

Monodam looked her in the eyes for a moment, then down at the floor. “W-well.. look at me. I’m.. weird. Not just my body, everything about me,” he began explaining. “You know, Monokid always said—”

“Who cares what Monokid says?” Chibi interrupted, taking his hand. “Don’t let what he tells you get to you. I know it’s hard, but I want you to always remember that I think you’re perfect the way you are.”

Monodam stared at her with wide eyes. Aside from Monophanie, no one had ever really told him that before. He started to tear up, a smile forming on his face as he embraced Chibi.

“Chibi.. thank you.. I.. I love you..”

“I love you too, Monodam~”

The new couple briefly looked each other in the eyes, and then leaned in closer..

It was a magical moment that neither of them wanted to leave. But it was suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door.

“Oh? Who is it?”

“Just me..”

Monosuke’s voice was heard on the other side of the door. Carefully opening the door, he looked over at Chibi and Monodam, who were still in an embrace.

“Hey uh, you guys okay? The others were kinda wonderin’ when you two were coming back..” he asked. “Oh.. we’re okay, no worries~” Chibi replied. She then turned to Monodam and asked, “Do you wanna go back down?”

“...” He was silent, and shook his head. “That’s okay, we can stay up here for a bit then,” the catgirl told him, gently kissing his forehead. Looking back at Monosuke, she said, “You guys can keep playing if you want. We’re gonna chill up here for a bit.”

“Oh.. that’s cool, then. See you two later, I guess.” Monosuke carefully closed the door, leaving the two alone once more. A soft sigh escaped him, and though he didn’t realize it, he had looked back at the door with a slight sadness in his eyes before returning to the group.

izzy: omg yes finally!!

“…you’re just saying that.”

“What?”

Monodam glanced at the catgirl, disbelief in his eyes. All he did was sadly shake his head before responding, “You don’t have to lie to make me feel better.” He genuinely didn’t believe that Chibi loved him back… but why?

“Monodam, what are you talking about? I’m not lying to you,” Chibi inquired, tilting her head. She nervously approached him, only to notice more tears welling up in his eyes. “I mean.. you couldn’t possibly be in love with me,” Monodam mumbled. “You know what I’ve done.”

Chibi paused, recalling the events of the killing game where Monokid and Monosuke were killed by him, all for the purpose of getting along.

(A/N: In this blog’s universe, the killing game still took place, but it was through a simulation created by Monokuma. I’m still figuring things out for the setting, but that’s my basic idea for it.)

“Yeah, but you’ve changed since then! And even so, I know you only wanted everyone to get along. I like that about you, so please don’t doubt yourself-”

“Stop! Just stop, okay?!” Monodam suddenly spoke in a sharp tone, cutting her off. Seeing the shocked expression on her face, his own expression softened and he gently took her hand. “I.. I’m sorry, just… I’m not the person you should love. I don’t deserve it.”

“…” Chibi looked Monodam in the eyes, a small frown on her face. How on Earth was she going to convince this boy that he deserved the love she felt for him? Ideas stirred throughout her mind, one after the other. What to do, what to do..

And then, an idea struck.

“Hey.. Monodam, look at me for a moment, okay?”

He did as told, tears now falling down his face. Chibi wrapped her arms around him, and suddenly…
