to elaborate: @gentlelovingsiscon coaxed the kid to the front just by talking to her all soft and sweet, and she stayed fronting for two whole uninterrupted hours while they talked. it was her first time A) being around on her own terms, and B) completely sober, instead of getting unceremoniously dropped into the body without warning while we're high. she was so happy and overwhelmed and she cried a lot. she feels so distinct from the rest of us. it completely obliterated any misconceptions i had about being a singlet

besides GLS im also indebted to @ivy-returns and @ivylefay (different systems lol) for talking to us at length about plurality the last couple weeks and helping us get comfortable with it

turns out the way to get the others to show is to just let them, actively encourage them if you need to, instead of pushing it away when you feel something there out of fear of ""encouraging the delusion""
