the Voltron fandom seriously needs to get its shit together. stop attacking people over ships, it’s fucking ridiculous. some people ship Klance, some people ship allurance. some people ship adashi, some people ship shallurance. fucking accept it. people can ship who they want, even if you don’t like it.

ESPECIALLY don’t attack the writers and cast of Voltron because of ships, becuase that’s honestly disgusting. Learn to appreciate what we get, season 7 was the result of a lot of hard work from it’s creators- don’t go crapping on it becuase of ships.

Voltron Season 7 Spoilers

So, I’m seeing a lot of hate towards the creators of Voltron because of the Queer Baiting, so I’d thought I’d share my opinion.

Yeah, it fucking sucks that Adam died after such little development. But there is still a season 8, there is plenty of time for Shiro’s sexuality to fully grow and for him to further mourn Adam.

Klance, we got quite a bit of development there. They are growing to further admire and trust eachother, which is waaaay more important then an immediate relationship. They are really bonding (lance can actually remember this bonding lol), and they do really care about each other. Klance doesn’t have to canon for Keith and Lance to have a bond.

Futhermore, a lot of people are ignoring to good things that happened. Like, Hunk finally getting character development. We finally see his backstory, we finally see him grow, and we finally see him hit breaking point. Simultaneously, we get a lot of Keith development. I feel like he really became a leader this season, and that he really accepted himself. I mean,,,, look how awesome he was!!! Lance and all the others really look up to him now, and I think that super amazing!!!

KEITH SAYS “I LOVE YOU MOM” TO KROLIA. WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THAT??!!!!!!

Lance’s development, whilst a little more dire, still happens. We see more to him, we see more of his insecurities. And WE SEE HIM WITH HIS FAMILY.

It’s career day at school. I find it funny how when I say I want to be a writer it just gets brushed off. Yet, “oh you wanna be a lawyer, awesome!!!”

seriously, art is important too. writing is important too. it is a career, a difficult one at that. it actually really bothers me. like, go on, encourage the sporty people, encourage the engineers, encourage the scientists, encourage the doctors. writers? artists? “that’s a hobby!”

Its disheartening, and honestly very degrading. Can my hopes and dreams stop being invalidated despite them being something that you’re preaching to care about.
