There's so many things wrong with this omg,,,

You're dehumanizing someone that doesn't even exist, why are you treating your non-existent baby boy as an "it"? If you had a baby boy would you treat him as subhuman because of being born as a boy?

"I don't think i could love it or care for it properly"? You're basically saying you would neglect your child because of being a boy, are you admitting you would be a child abuser if you had a baby boy? So openly?

"Some people have trauma surrounding men/boys or male body parts", that's NOT a good reason to be a child abuser, if you don't want your child to be a boy then don't have any child, because maybe there will be an F in the birth certificate but you don't know what would happen after that

What if your girl becomes a boy? If he's a trans boy? If she's intersex and have hyperandrogenism? If she develops those "male parts" you're talking about because of being intersex? What if she's multigender including a male identity?

Will you detransition him? Will you try to medically "fix her"? Will you start treating them differently after all those years loving them?

If the answer to any of them is "yes" then you shouldn't have children at all, you're not a feminist, you're not progressive, you're not being one of the good ones, you're being a disgusting bigot and that's it

an official coining event that will be going until the end of may involving daily cultural asian terms!! anyone of bodily asian heritage can join at anytime during the event. this event is hosted by mod prim of @kunteez, aka the silly little gal running this blog atm. hooray!!

rules regarding this event are simple: keep the terms sfw and please keep in mind we are not comfortable having radqueers participate. generally as a rule of thumb, we will be posting 1-2 flags dedicated to this event per day, however, feel free to make as many or as few as you'd like; the main goal is to continue the growth of the asian community within mogai and to spread some positivity this month.

and every other kind of person I missed that deserves to be here too.

you are people, first and foremost. your thoughts deserve to be heard, discussed, acknowledged, no matter what. you are not lesser. you are just another person. you should never be ignored for what you can/can’t do. you deserve care.

to abled people: check yourself. make sure you listen. and you can reblog, just don’t derail. maybe don’t add on, either.

my favorite part of this post is seeing people in the notes whose hearts have been touched. if you don’t mind, I’d like to share a few.

keep in mind: this is nowhere near everyone. Some responses were too short, some were too long - I heavily advise you to go look in the notes yourself. And I’m sure many people reblogged this with just sorting tags or nothing at all, and that’s wonderful.

I made this post for myself, mostly. while I don’t do everything on the aforementioned list, I do apply to quite a few - but, ultimately, it was for me. I never expected it to boom like this.

And yet, it did. And that is a wonderful, wonderful thing. This post has helped people, even in small ways, something I never imagined. It’s wonderful.

so here, let me add a few more I missed. some taken from notes, some of my own.
