Hi, my name is Asra and my pronouns are he/him.

This is just going to be like random things like I don’t use tumblr that much.

I enjoy writing even though I haven’t really done it in years and I am currently working on a gintama fanfiction with sporadic updates (DM for link).

My Twitter @ is the same but I’m also inactive on there.

(Also I like using tone indicators when I find that my message isn't getting across the way I want it to. If you have a problem with that please realise that it does not matter if it seems awkward I just like being able to communicate).

I like listening to Hip-Hop and R&B. I especially like the Roots, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Verb T, MF DOOM, Thundercat, Tyler, The Creator, Kendrick Lamar, the Pharcyde, LONS, ATCQ and De La Soul.

Other artists I like are Gorillaz, MCR, FOB, Gym Class Heroes, Jamiroquai, Weezer, AKG, Radiohead, the Cure, Prince, Otoboke Beaver, Santana, Joy Division, the Specials (🕊️Terry Hall) and Blur.

I also listen to electronic music like DnB, Jungle and some Lo-Fi (emphasis on some).

My favourite genre of music is UKG. I listen to a lot of producers and DJs and it’s one of the few things my attention span can handle.

Moataz @moatazart, Mariam, and baby Maria are set to make the dangerous journey from Gaza City in the north to Rafah in the south. From there, God willing, they will enter Egypt.

HOWEVER, the money they had allocated to procure shelter and food while in Egypt was utterly depleted by exploitative fees and hidden costs, which we break down in this post. Moataz speaks more on the situation in this post and on his own blog @moatazart, which we ask people to follow and boost. They have a fund going to raise the remaining money, but the fund only has a week and a half left before it closes! They are not even halfway to their goal!

Please share what you can with Moataz’s family so they can find safety and security in Egypt! They have no one in Egypt with whom they can stay and currently nowhere near enough money to secure shelter! After all they have survived, please don’t let this young family be left vulnerable! If they cannot procure food and shelter, they will be extremely vulnerable not only to the dangers of homelessness, but to groups and individuals who prey on refugees!

In the ruins of what had been Nasser hospital, the biggest in southern Gaza, Reuters saw emergency workers in white hazmat suits digging corpses out of the ground with hand tools and a digger truck. The emergency services said 73 more bodies had been found at the site in the past day, raising the number found over the week to 283.

Gaza authorities say the bodies recovered so far are from just one of at least three mass graves they have found at the site. MASS DEATH IS IMMINENT IN GAZA

The U.N. warns that 1.1 million Palestinians are at imminent risk of death, as the crushing toll of the siege reaches its lethal and final stages. In North Gaza particularly, there is little time left before hundreds of thousands of people will die of hunger.

Time is almost up for over a million people. The US and its allies bear full responsibility for what can only be described as an impending holocaust. Without an immediate change of course that includes the provision of mass amounts of aid into Gaza and sanctioning Israel, mass death from starvation is a guarantee.

It is extremely important that this isn't just "more of the same" here. They're out of food, it is getting worse. Integrated Food Security Phase Classification is an organization for studying food insecurity, and they have a scale for how bad food insecurity is. Gaza has BEEN in phase 4 for a long time now, and that's already what is called "emergency". Its bad. But they only now have been upgraded to phase 5, outright famine.

Gaza is the only place in the world to have this level of food insecurity right now.

This isn't "more on-going cruelty" like I have heard from so many. This has changed to "no, this community is currently collapsing, and will completely die out if we do not do something NOW to at least take them from 'dying' to 'starving'". This is acute food insecurity on an unimaginable and unsurvivable scale. Contact whoever you need to immediately, because it literally does not get worse. This is the part where the genocide could fucking its goals if you do not do something to spurn your government into action.

You're not "appropriating" or "reclaiming" fascist propaganda when you do this, you're spreading it.

Regardless of what YOU mean when you say these things, you're making fascist ideas normal to other people.

These types of slogans are chosen because their underlying logic is fascist. The idea that society needs to go back to some better time (implication being when Those People knew their Place/when white men had more power), the idea that the world is being made worse by a secret organization that's code for "Jewish people", these ideas are very common and fascist memes and slogans like these are meant to reinforce them.

Joking about fascist ideas is literally the most common tool fascists use to get their foot in the door. If it doesn't fly they can claim they were "just joking" but they use jokes and coded language like this to a) gradually normalize those ideas to radicalize non fascists and b) find other bigots.

Regular people parroting their shit just helps them. It makes absolutely zero difference if you've decided you're "reclaiming" fascist talking points. The material impact of your words is that now fascist talking points are normal and acceptable in your social circles.

You are helping them recruit when you use their actual recruitment tactics, even if you decide it's different when YOU do it.

We don't actually need to "appropriate" fascist ideas or symbols.

Best case scenario, they get plausible deniability because non-fascists are saying these things too.

Worst case scenario, you made their opinions and ideas sound way more palatable and reasonable to their next recruitment target.

How you can help Palestine while being a minor/child

If you're someone who does not earn money or cannot donate because you're a child and you're under the care of a guardian but still want to help the suffering Palestinians this is a list that can help you

Educate yourself! I cannot stress how important this is. Stay up to date with the latest news and learn about the history of Palestine so you do not get confused by propaganda.

Boost posts about Palestine and spread awareness! Share posts about Palestine [make sure to fact check] and talk to your families and friends to do the same (it's understandable if you cannot talk about these things with your family and friends though). Follow Palestinian journalists and other people who are stuck in gaza. Boost their posts.

Do not engage with zionists! Troll bots are becoming more and more common and engaging with them will only benefit them. Ignore and move on. The world stands with Palestine and we do not need to prove that.

Save evidence! The governments WILL DENY the genocide they are committing and will try their best to remove evidence from all social media platforms. Save videos, articles, and pictures so that you have a strong evidence base to present when the time comes.

Show your solidarity! Put a watermelon in your bio, wear red green black and white colours, put a Palestinian flag on your schoolbag. Every little thing counts.

Boycott! Avoid McDonald's, Starbucks and other companies that support israel. Ask your parents to eat somewhere else if they suggest McDonald's, and ask your friends to choose a different cafe if they go to starbucks.

Email your representatives! Make some noise, demand a ceasefire

Do daily clicks! Any myth of this NOT going to Palestine has been debunked, and it doesn't take any time to simply click one button. It makes money through ad revenues
