My grandfather (Mother's side) is in the hospital. He had a stroke yesterday and is stable and communicating for now. My mom is planning to go to California next week to see him, along with my aunt who is already there.

It'll be hard for us physically and financially for a little bit but she really needs to be there. She's already lost one of her parents to cancer, so I'll have to take up the mantle of caring for the house when I can! I hope I can do it.

Prayers for her and my grandfather. It's hard on us all.
