appearance (pre-season one/a game of thrones):
elysabeth bears her mother's beauty with reluctance. her long chestnut curls are unruly more often than not, her grey-green eyes expressive yet scrutinizing, and her freckled skin often smudged with remnants of dirt from the training yard. by sixteen she's taller than the average westerosi woman at about 175cm/5'9" and is well-muscled from secret training sessions with jon when she's supposed to be sewing with septa mordane. she is widely regarded as one of the realm's chief beauties, though she rejects this notion (and perceptions of herself as feminine) with vehemence.
early relationships & background:
☼ jorah mormont, her father. left seven-year-old elysabeth behind to inherit bear island when ned stark came to collect his life as payment for engaging in the slave trade. jorah had high hopes for his daughter, recognizing her early affinity for swordplay and headstrong nature as traits that would befit a future lady of bear island. considers his abandonment of her (rather than subjecting her to a life on the run in essos) to be his most honorable act and his greatest shame.
☼ lynesse hightower, her mother. wed jorah as a teen after he won the lannisport tourney, she became pregnant with elysabeth soon after. lynesse had a difficult pregnancy and soon became as disillusioned with motherhood as she was with bear island, neither having been the life she expected when she agreed to wed jorah. was both pained and relieved to leave her daughter behind in her escape to essos.
☼ eddard stark, who took her in as ward. ned nullified jorah's titles after he arrived at bear island to find him gone. unfortunately, this act also erased elysabeth's claim to the ladyship. ned offered to take elysabeth in after noticing she'd been made an outsider in her own home due to jorah's actions, seen as the fruit of her father's shame by the bear island smallfolk and a painful reminder by her remaining family.
☼ jon snow, her first and closest friend. jon and elysabeth bonded quickly over a shared love of exploring the wolfswood and pretend-play with sticks serving as swords, as well as their status as outsiders in the stark home. where she leads, he follows after--even when elysabeth's grand plans for adventure often turn to misadventure.

top left: ely of the wall—as soon as she receives word of the red wedding elysabeth nukes her southron betrothed at their pre-wedding feast, takes a man’s disguise, and runs north to fyne shyt. unfortunately he’s beyond the wall (sandor had faked her execution to allow her to escape n unfortunately jon now thinks she’s dead) and she’s gotta figure this shit out on her own rip
bottom right: elysabeth post-battle of the bastards—having a moment of peace and prayer in the winterfell training yard, thanking the old gods that her and jon made it out alive and have their home back. homegirl kicked ass tbh she and jon have been (lovingly) beating the crap out of one another since they were children and she’s got mad sword skills as a result
bottom left: elysabeth’s marriage to jon/coronation as queen in the north in the godswood, finally making it official (before she went south with sansa/arya and jon left for the wall she n jon said secret vows to one another beneath the heart tree so wedding round two tbh !!)

soap believes in an open-bathroom policy. you’re adults in a relationship in a one-bathroom apartment and it wouldn’t be a problem except every once in a while he shits when you shower. it is straight foul. the humidity, heat, and stench are primed to create an atmosphere that is 1000% inhospitable. your very vocal complaints are met only with cackles.
gaz leaves the remnants of his shaved facial hair caked to the sink as a fun little surprise for you each morning. he cooks, he cleans, he takes out the trash—he really is the perfect partner, save for the little dark hairs that await you each time you wake and go to brush your teeth.
