Much like everyone else, I’m pretty spooked about tumblr eating itself. I don’t know how badly I’ll be affected, but the fact that so many marginalized people will be punished by this decision leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I know I haven’t been active on Tumblr, but I’d like to let you know:

I will be backing up this blog

I may mirror it onto Dreamwidth, Soup.io, Pillowfort, or whatever site is deemed Tumblr 2: Electric Boogaloo

I’m still on AO3 at kyloream

I’m also on Instagram at jawnwooders and virtexexe

I can’t say every part of tumblr is good, but the queer kylux kink dungeon was a very nice group of people and I wish I could give you a hug

Cut to Sunday night, not quite 10PM, my blog archives for this blog are currently processing, I have an import in progress to Wordpress that’s not budging, things are looking pretty dire.

You can also find me on Twitter at tenderkatherine (lol old handle). In the meantime, I’m backing up my best-of posts from this blog onto Archive Of Our Own. I’m going to try to manually archive as much as I can before my blog goes out. If anyone has a good scraper for Mac, please let me know.
