If you ever have the chance to watch Dir en grey's Macabre live DVD, you will notice how emaciated, malnourished and skeletal the band members were at the time, especially since they all insisted on being topless at some point. It was so terrible that I will not post screenshots.

Seeing their state then and comparing with how muscular and healthier they are now makes me think back to when Kyo mentioned something about sharing a cramped appartment with at least two roommates and skipping meals because all the money was dedicated to the band.

Truly, if I only had one thing to say to Dir en grey, it would be "thank you".

Thank you for the sacrifices.

Thank you for believing in yourselves.

Congratulations for reaching the stars.

Well,

somehow we’ve already entered September. This year is more or less over isn’t it. 

Also, it’s suddenly gotten colder. If it’s gonna be this cold, it’s quite possible that this year I won’t be able to go swimming! 

Enough with the chit-chat,  it would appear that today is the first day of the Wither tour.  I wonder just what kind of live it will be. 

Before beginning rehearsals for this tour, we recorded a song  for the D'ERLANGER tribute album.

The song was 「EASY MAKE,EASY MARK」.

This song has a sound that is not like the sound of those days, a core song that can only be found on a live CD.

On top of that, around the year 2000, DIR had an event but, at that event each of the 5 members made their own band and played their own personal favourite cover song. It was at that event that Die kun’s band—— Find the rest on ShinyaChannel——
