Some cool adventures in my ttrpg stuff lately Did a ttrpg playtest a week or so ago and lead a small group of players through a short lil mission with some roleplay and combat mixed up (as i do). One of the players really really liked the roleplay i did and said they nearly cried and that this was what they were missing in their other games. just... meant a lot to me. was really really nice to hear. :)

Beyond that, I've been working as a professional DnD dm (I know, I know. Trust me if I could convince em to try other games I would) and have had a ton of success getting through to players there too. Have gotten pretty universally nice feedback from players and DM assistants (and ofc have plenty of wacky stories from inside the game) but my favorite lil story is this: One week I had a new-to-ttrpgs kid that was sorta struggling to join in with the rest of the group and participate in the game. Early on, I got feedback from their parents saying they weren't really enjoying it and didn't really get it... but by the end the parents said the kid came home with a smile on their face and told them they finally understood how to play dnd (and I could tell at the table too - they got way more confident and were able to make some key decisions, even effectively landing the final blow on the main villain). Was extremely nice to hear. Kinda just rambling here, but in a world of constant job rejections and other myriad pressures and responsibilities, it's nice to know i can do some things well (and also do good/leave a good impression in the process).

Sable Round 4, vs the eldritch horror-y Sherlock Holmes & Watson. Pretty proud of this one - I put a lot of effort into it.

Sable Round 3, versus Charred Limbo the recently-beat up grim reaper. As well as the Dover Boys from Pimento U (/looney tunes). Please note the detail of all the "animated" characters having thick outlines and all the "backgrounds" being painted, I thought that was a really funny gag but in hindsight it's not the most obvious unless you know how animation typically works.
