“ astrid? his girlfriend? his wife?” yes, astrid. don’t get me wrong, i love astrid and hiccstrid so much, but she was fake as well, and for the people saying “oh well she didn’t do any of the bullying, she was just watching”, like that makes it better. if she genuinely cared, she would’ve done something to stop it or intervene, but she didn’t. just pity looks as if hiccup would notice or her friends would stop. also, she didn’t want ANYTHING to do with hiccup, she was always annoyed, jealous, and irritated with him during the whole duration of the first movie, hot take, but if it wasn’t for toothless their would be no hiccstrid, but that’s beside the point. she only started paying attention to him after romantic flight snd his popularity. she wasn’t even happy for him when he found his way with dragons, she was just jealous the attention and praise was on him 😭

anyways that’s all for my rant, i still love astrid tho

anyways, i got a sewing machine for christmas, and i was so excited but i’ve NEVER ever sewn in my life, and my ego is very very big so i thought it would be very easy. i was wrong. i was crashing out while trying to attempt to thread the needle (spoiler: i made my mom do it), but i did make a sock monkey, its not done yet, and i think it’s going good, its just im so confused. i have no clue how to use a sewing machine, so does anyone have any tips?

i’ll take anything, like any tips 😭 im so desperate and i yearn to sew good, so i just need some tips.

when i read more of the httyd books, i wish they added camicazi into the movie. like i love and ADORE astrid so much, and i know it wouldn’t work since cami isn’t apart of berk, but i feel like it would’ve been cooler to see her. it would be so funny to see her in armor when they were in rome and bickering with hiccup, and also, i wish in another life the movies would be canon to the books because wdym that hiccups a scrawny, ginger, 10 year old little boy, snotlout actually not hated for once, and gobbers actually a jackass? complete polar opposite from the movies, i still love them tho
