Just found out Rob Reiner passed away two days ago — I was more familiar with him as a director than an actor — and obviously him having directed one of my favourite movies it only felt appropriate to make a post.

I never noticed it before until literally just today but….. about chris’ death…… him trying to break up a fight and then getting stabbed in the neck— that is exactly what almost happened when the older boys came to find ray’s body and ace put the blade to his neck…… I don’t remember if that’s in the short story stephen king wrote which turned into SBM or not so.. to whoever wrote that when I CATCH YOU it’s not gonna be fun…. 👹👹👹👹

It’s also just genuinely a great showing of his character and how he always acted as a peacemaker — we see it with the gang and that need to make things right stays with him as an adult.
