Since I know there’s a lot of Sansa fans here I thought I’d post this. I did this for an ArtCollab on IG. The theme was red hair.

I turned my portrait ArtCollabfamily into Ayra this month! She looks a little too old, but I think that’s because I draw adults all the time. I’m also thinking I should’ve made her hair a bit stringy and smudged dirt on her face. Maybe I’ll do that later! 😁 #asoiaf #asoiafart #aryastark

Sandor (The Hound) little doll Tutorial

The reactions to my SanSan dolls has been amazing! I had a few people ask me whether or not I’d be able to make a pattern for purchase so you could all have a go at it. Sadly I don"t know how to make patterns as everything I make is done through trial and error.

But since this mini Sandor is quite easy I thought I’d try and do a little photo tutorial for everybody to try if you wanted to.

Here is my #artvsartist for 2024. There’s not enough room to show all my favorites from collabs, prompt lists and commissions I did this year but these are among my favorites! I did more with digital watercolors this year, some good, some not as good. I pushed a more animated style. And I did more asoiaf art this year, which is always one of my goals.

How To Listen To, and Support, A Song of Fan and Fiction

Backstory

I am still exploring the best ways for distributing ASOFAF. Originially, I pusblished it like any other podcast, therefore distributing it via all major podcast players. When I returned after my hiatus, this method did not sit well with me. As fanfic writers and consumers, we all know what it is like to be bullied for our hobby, and I feared with such wide and potentially random accessibility, hostile parties would be directed to our Heroes and Singers. A Song of Fan and Fiction was removed from all podcast platforms and, to start getting episodes and stories out, I began releasing the project through my Patreon page.

How To Listen

Since then, I have migrated the public release of episodes to Buzzsprout for a few reasons. Primarily, I chose Buzzsprout because the cost of hosting there is minimal and it does not automatically distribute episodes to listening platforms (i.e. Apple Podcasts, Spotify, et cetera). Otherwise, Buzzsprout affords me the same options that drew me to Patreon, without the assumption of a paywall.

So, visit the Buzzsprout website to listen! It's really that easy! Or, use this RSS feed link to add ASOFAF to your podcast player of choice so that new episodes automatically get distributed when they are published. (Use this Buzzsprout Help link for info on adding the RSS link to your player.)

How To Support

Patreon has not gone away. However, please be assured, I will never charge anyone to listen to ASOFAF. And because of this, I am using my personal patreon. I have set up an ASOFAF tier that listeners can subscribe to. Why? Well, there are hard costs (website, software, licensing of music, etc.) and soft costs (primarily, my time) of producing and publishing a podfic. I don't forsee ever making money off of ASOFAF, as it is just a passion project, but I hope someday to have help covering tangible costs.

The main perk of listening through Patreon instead of Buzzsprout is that episodes are released three days early to ASOFAF (and General Support) tier subscribers!

So this month (Nov 24) I'm working on a prompt list by @ellolovey over at Insta. I started late and I'm not going to kill myself to get every single prompt! So I thought of Ser Shadrick (bc I had recently had him on my mind) and the prompt was mouse. Then for the rest of the month I decided to use white albino mice (or mouse) for the rest of the month. Maybe I'll sneak in some asoiaf if some of them fit. Maybe I could have made "dumpling fit, but tbh, it was hard to think of something for asoiaf for that. lol!
