a love letter to my anxiety

thank you for keeping me on my toes. everything is catastrophic. constantly watching my back, how i stand, how i walk, how i talk. thinking about what i say and how i say it. if it comes off right, if it comes off rude or mean or ignorant. lying to my friends and family about how im doing because god forbid i worry them even a little. just sprinkle in the cries for help and then do nothing about them.
