Some people act like Kiriona is some major depature from Gideon's character or some dark twisted version of her and I just...don't see it. Like no, that's her. Sure she's depressed (who wouldn't be) and rude (even in gtn she was rude, we just saw it from her perspective). And she's mean to poor Nona, but honestly that'd probably be my reaction too if the most important goth girl in the world to me got bodysnatched by a zippy twelve year old.

gideon loves fighting more than damn near anything, and so many of the exciting parts of fighting are taken or nullified if she cant get hurt!

the burn of exertion, the thrill of danger / injury, the challenge of an opponent that pushes her to be her best. now that she's jod's perfectest soldier ever (tm), she cant get tired, she cant be injured, she cant be killed.

she has fought hard to be as good as she is, and shes proud of her results cuz theyre Hers. jod giving her invulnerability made *her* fighting ability into *his* fighting ability, and took an essential part of her.

tldr not only is she missing the woman she's fought with & fought for, she's missing the love of the fight
