Faline is back!
Psst hey guys so after, like, forever I’m happy to say that I’m bringing Faline back as a muse! Just a catch: It won’t be on this blog.

I can’t decide
Alright, so one of the three sisters on my multi-muse blog is almost finished (the Inquisitor) and I’m really eager to start interacting, but I also want to get the other two up as well. I’m torn between starting with just her and adding the other two as I finish them, or waiting until they’re all done to start interacting on there.
Any opinions?

Her eyebrow quirked at the sight. His face seemed familiar but fleeting. If she had seen him before, she did not recognize where from.
“You’re welcome to stay as long as you swear not to rob me. And if you do decide to rob me, I ask that you leave my shoes. They’re my favorite pair,” she quipped jokingly.
So far, so good. He laughed slightly at the joke, shaking his head.
“You needn’t worry about that. Somehow I don’t think they’re my size anyway. Thank you for your kindness, Ser…?”
“You can call me Faline.”
She gave a curt nod. Her head tilted slightly to the side, a polite smile on her lips.
“And you are?”

“You wouldn’t happen to have room for one more at your camp, would you?”
The question was asked with a smile on his lips, his hands held up to show he meant no harm. His guards would likely not catch up to him until the morning, so for the evening he was free to play the part of a commoner, not a king at all.

“Al…yons!” he nearly had said Alpons, which the other man would not have taken well. Not with company..oh dear and it had to be THIS company. No, Faline certainly did not take well to his dour Lordship. “Let us get out of here Faline, yes? We would not want to find …ah be found by someone else in this situation, would we?” not with all three of them in the wrong room or in this strange setup. “Please my dear, no scene, yes? We have…you have better things to do. We really don’t have the time to dig out this feud, and it isn’t as if his Lordship hasn’t paid what is due, no?” reparations had been made and dear gods, he really wanted this farce to end. Hadn’t it cost them all too much already? “He is here for the same reason as we all are. Maybe we should all go back to our rooms and you could try and research what we have found?” small mercies would be very much appreciated. Small mercies like being able to part without any bloodsheed, and hopefully …hopefully being able to get the other man back to his room. “Please? It would not be favourable for our plan if you went at each others throat” he murmured to her, pleading. Oh he could imagine her assaulting the other, with words or even deeds and it would blow their cover of lovey-dovey harmless Ladyship.
“Last time I observed Mylady, Skyhold was not in the posession of Serault’s lords. Therefore is my presence here not violating any ban your brother might have put on me. So, I rightfully dare.” Alphons had turned back, when the girl - now, now, she was a woman now, wasn’t she? Still so very young and inexperienced… When this woman snarled at him. He didn’t want to be here, but he would not back down from a threat, regardless. Drunk or not, he was still representing Alyons… or whatever was left of it. Maker, but he was tired.
Finally acknowledging the bard’s attempts to pacify them, he bowed his head once more. “Why bother. I clearly interrupted a private moment and - as I said before - feel deeply sorry for-…” Then it dawned on him: The odd choice of Shedu’s words began to make sense and His Lordship’s tired expression pulled together in a thoughtful frown, as he began to decipher the depth of his words. “Then again… This is not your room, either, or is it?” There was a dangerous glint in his dark eyes, as his still slightly fogged mind tried to piece together the meager information he had, before a thin-lipped, cold smile spread over his features. He might be tired of The Game, but he was still an excellent player, when it was necessary. “Really now, Mylady. Loosing yourself in a bit of romance so badly, that you mistake the doors? How unexpected.”
With another bow, he finally stepped out of the room and gestured with one arm down the corridor. “I was not the first, to leave the hall. So if you do not wish to have any more surprising encounters - with this rooms actual occupant, for example - maybe you should heed the man’s advice and return to your own room.” With that, he finally turned away from them. Just this bit of pretence was already enough, to drain Alphons of what little energy he had left. “As should I, for the matter. Seein you lot is revolting.” Not bothering to wait for a reply from any of the two, he began to stagger down the corridor. Now fatigue was making his steps even less sure, than he had been in his intoxicated state anyways. He managed a full five steps, before he lost his footing and crashed rather unluckily into a vase. Lying among flower-bits, shards, water and what seemed to be his own blood, Alphons sighed exaggerated, closing his eyes against the world around him. Maybe, if he pretended to be asleep, this whole episode would pass by him without forcing him to invest any more energy in it.
“No, but I believed the Inquisition was above allying with a known betrayer whom within the past year has done much to breed dissension. Tell me, are they aware of what really happened in Serault? Or are they only aware of the gossip? I can’t imagine an organization striving for unity would approve of your actions.”
Faline was only hushed at the Bard’s insistence. “This is no mere feud. My family took him graciously as our guest, and he tried to bury us. And for what purpose? More land? To keep us in the dirt where he thought we belonged, and deliver all the poor that my family-...that I personally worked hard to care for into the hands of politicians who couldn’t care less!?” she spoke lowly, trying to batten down her own anger. It had not even been a complete year since the incident in Serault, and the pain still rang fresh in her mind. She was not keen to such displays, but she had held back such fury for far too long. Still, she pushed it down once more. It was pathetic to strike so openly against someone in such a state as he. As much as she desired to, she was raised with more propriety than that.
“You have no room to comment on my escapades; I’m not the one wandering through the corridors tripping over my own intoxication,” Faline chided spitefully. “You’re a sad, pathetic drunk. I won’t dirty my hands with your tainted blood.” Once Alphons left the room, Faline made haste to her own; not bothering to turn and witness the drunken episode. Neglecting to lock the door behind her, she made her way to the center table and picked up the ornate vase that sat as a centerpiece. Water began to fall from the corners of her eyes as she shattered the decoration against the stone wall.

adam sandler’s shooting a movie at my (very queer liberal arts) college this week and facebook has become a very surreal place. people keep posting stuff like “man i thought adam sandler would be a jerk but i just keep seeing him complimenting peoples’ pastel hair dye and helping people carry things” and “aw man i’m gonna be late to class, i cant leave the building because adam sandler is kicking the shit out of ben stiller”
