A LIL UPDATE. triggering content ahead! so some of you may have seen that the reason I haven’t been active here recently is because on Saturday night, I tried to take my own life. For the most part I am safe and okay, though still recovering both physically and mentally. To those of you who sent well wishes/messages of concern, thank you so much. You have no idea how appreciated they are. I’ll be working my way through responding to them this evening.

Understandably, with all of this going on, I’ve fallen behind on Choices but I aim to play catch up tomorrow and from there, activity should resume. But yeah, I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop.

tw: abuse, victim blaming

@sibella-plays-choices is a disgusting person who mocks abuse victims and violates their privacy in order to victim blame and you should all stop following her and you should especially stop buying her bullshit about being a victim!

i was tipped off today by some anons in my inbox who share a discord server with sibella. they stated that sibella was sharing screenshots of my confiding in her about my abuse as a minor in fandom, which is the reason why i feel so strongly about protecting minors in this fandom. this is disgusting on so many levels. someone who is a medical professional should know that sharing something so extremely personal about someone else, when you have been told it in strict confidence and it is not public knowledge, is extremely unethical and hugely violating. my abuse is private. in the past, when i have opened up about it, i have been victim blamed (as sibella did today) and disbelieved. i do not make the decision to talk about my abuse lightly.

let me stress something, because apparently sharing that i had been abused was an act of manipulation: i asked her several times whether it was okay if i mentioned abuse. i mentioned my abuse solely so she would understand my perspective on the subject. she told me she would not judge me. she lied. as she has done repeatedly.

for her to call an abuse victim’s perspective manipulation, and then to mock it by using words like cringe to describe the messages i sent her, and victim blame me and the minors in this fandom as well as sharing such private information about me in the first place…. i don’t even have words for how disgusting this is.

i’ll say it again, sibella. you’re not the victim here. you are disgusting, and it’s not because you write fetish porn. it’s because you treat people who are nice to you like dirt (and i don’t mean me, so don’t think i do) and lie constantly. you have an ugly heart. grow up. you’re a fucking adult.
