Thinking about how in Mine's rggo story, Daigo tells him to stop calling him "Chairman Dojima" because it's too formal, and Mine goes on to call him "Daigo-san" for pretty much the rest of his screentime like ever

But in the final minutes of y3, after Daigo wakes up, and before Mine dies, he goes back to calling him specifically and Only "Chairman" (会長)

Like. Mine still called him "Daigo-san" in the cutscenes before this, even during the lead up to his fight with Kiryu, even when he had a gun pointed at Daigo's head, throughout his entire plan in yakuza 3 where he Knew one of his end goals was going to be Daigo's death.

But when he realizes that Daigo was going to live, that he was going to kill him even though he "isn't ready to die yet" he stops thinking that he has earned even that bit of Daigo's respect. The last time he ever speaks to Daigo he goes back to using exclusively formal terms while he goes to carry out (what he believes is) his only viable form of redemption. Man whatever I don't even care
