Screw you guys I'm going back to Frank!!! https://www.facebook.com/LairelosseCosplay/
Finally put Lavellan together. Would love to polish it all some day but I have ADD (no really I do lol) and I’m moving on. Thanks @aicosu for the awesome Solas (that bastard) necklace. Love it and trying to gather the courage to wear it as everyday wear.
I realised that I never did a tutorial on my leggings for Merrill so here it is
Also because @aicosu got an ask about them and they redirected it to my vambrace/glovey things tutorial (which btw I’m honored thank you)
(PC: NelsPhotos Cosplay made by me!)
But I’m gonna run through how to make the leggings since they are a bit different from the vambraces, but also the main part is mostly the same as my vambrace tutorial (and here is the link in case this is what you are looking for)
Now everything will be down here! Also please read through the tutorial before buying anything and starting anything. It has been about a year since I had to think about these so my memories are a bit scattered and some of the info may be a bit out of order too.
It would also be a good idea to look through my vambrace tutorial as well! In fact no, go do it, here’s the link
also feet warning if you’re not into that (and my feet arent gross, some people just dont wanna stare at feet and I get that)
OMG IM A DUMMY! I forgot to mention a really important part: THIS IS ALL DONE BY HAND I DID NOT USE A MACHINE SO IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PUT DOWN AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS OF WORK INTO THIS (including the vambraces) THEN THIS IS A PERFECT TUTORIAL. I WENT FOR THE “LITERALLY LIVES IN THE WOODS” LOOK THIS IS AN EXTRA PSA

I just realized Solas is Billy Corgan... Back to your regularly scheduled programing.
Pro tip: If you hate someone, post spoilers as soon as possible with that person as your only audience. I love facebook, again.
Look at me! I'm adorable! And I think I'm going to finish in time!
WIll I ever sew jersey fabric again?
No really I need someone to follow me around the fabric store. And when I start petting the oh so soft and light jersey fabrics, I need you to punch me. It will be less painful then sewing it.
Some times life sucks so you distract yourself with blue hair dye. Everything I own is blue now...
This! Is! Awesome! Canadian smocking tutorial with a great details and pictures. I'm almost confident enough to start cutting fabric.
The tale of two blues, neither is perfect, but I'm going to have to cut in to one of them. Let me just procrastinate one more day.
Look at me making muslins, like an adult. Also Butters is once again sure I am taking pictures of him. Sweet haircut, Butters!
This took me all day... I've been uninspired so I started cleaning my office and decide this would be a quick easy project to get my mojo back. Blech, but now my machines look like proper ladies.
SHUT THE FUCK UP
how do you even notice that
LMAO
the longshot is a popular choice, to say the least
IT’S NERF
OR NOTHING
Ooh my little nerdy heart is all aflutter because I just got this baby for 5 dollas. Now to pick a paint job.
This is for anyone curious about the cling wrap pattern making, I posted a few days ago. I picked final cut lines and traced with a dark marker. Numbered each piece and took pictures for later reference. Then the scary part, I cut them out. Some of my pieces were delicate at this point because I was running out of wrap and they're only one or two layers. Don't be me, wrap it at least three times where you will be cutting. Next I laid these pieces on a nice sturdy paper and traced them again for a more permanent pattern.
If you have any questions let me know!
I started watching Game of Thrones for the costumes. And holy shit, it's better then I expected. And the costumes; holy shit better then I expected as well. In other news I'm now the proud owner of $300 worth of fabric....woops.
Things that are not working out.. lol
