Disney had boasted its fair share of baddies over the years, but I don’t think any of them quite manage to top the sheer evilness of Pinocchio’s Coachman. Let’s run down the list. He’s an uncaring and violent man who lures children from their families, transforms them into donkeys, then sells them off, effectively into slavery, and has absolutely no remorse for doing any of it. And you know what’s worse? The guy gets away with it. Sure, Pinocchio himself escapes, but all those other kids? Nope, they’re still in that horrible, abusive situation, with the Coachman getting no justice for his actions whatsoever. As a kid I thought this movie was fun, but now it just depresses me to think about it 😟

I dont have a lot of memories from my early years. But Since I saw this face as a 4 year old kid for the first time on TV I never watched Pinocchio again, and my nightmares were filled with that guy kidnapping me 😵

It took me a few years later where I watched the movie in his full length and It wasnt any better for me because he got away with his crimes.

Nowadays I can Deal with him of course but still there are running goosebumps over my skin by seeing him.

The Coachman was my childhood nightmare.

I watched Paprika for the first time the other day and I want that Atsuko and Tokita love. I was so happy to see that the handsome guy who "loved" Atsuko was the creep but the nerdy, childish, unattractive guy was who she loved all along. I literally sobbed at this entire scene. The way she hugged him and said he was so much fun, I just-

I didn't understand shit about this movie, but I understood this, and I'm okay with it.
