I usually like Bryony Claire and Charli Chats but I'm highkey annoyed at how whenever people point out that it's disturbing to see female popstars dress, perform and behave in childlike ways in an increasingly fascistic landscape where women's rights are being rolled back and the lack of accountability for pedos in power, progressive white women will just throw up their hands and complain about how "gen z is puritannical!!" Or "women just can't win!!" You can't, "but misogyny" your way out of engaging in uncomfortable discourse involving women. Choices aren't made in a vacuum, it's all connected and as progressive women, yall should know better 🤡

We need to talk about how Black and Brown people usually are the first to point out red flags and dog whistles, and how progressive white people (including women) will just gaslight them into believing that there's nothing to worry about and that it's them who are the problem actually for pointing it out.

Xavier Conley, a Black creator, had pointed this out as well. And now, a bunch of white women are ganging up on him and calling him a misogynist, claiming that they've heard he's not a nice guy. And I'm not saying Xavier is perfect, he has had bad takes before and I have called it out on here. But, it's not a good look when Black people are often accused of being unlikable and aggressive by white people when they are vocally advocating, challenging status quo or just being honest. I'm sick of white (primarily cis) women weaponising accusations of misogyny against criticism by Black and Brown people 😑

Call-out posts used to mean something, now yall just do it when someone makes a take you dislike or disagree with becos yall refuse to engage with the take.

And for all the defensiveness I've seen white women have over the babydoll coquette aesthetic, there has not been much discussion over which type of women actually gets to engage with this type of aesthetic. Cos it's been very, hmm interesting, when you notice that it's been mostly white and lightskinned Asian women engaging with the aesthetic or at gaining the most visibility for engaging with the aesthetic.

We are literally going to "but misogyny-" and "let women enjoy things" our way into fascism if we let white women have their way 🤡

I don't see anyone talking about it on tumblr yet, but forums.rpgmaker.com is going down on June 18th and being deleted entirely in December.

If YOU use any RPG Maker engines or are considering using one, YOU should let them know that we don't want decades of RPG Maker support and history taken down. Especially when the intention seems to be discouraging people from using older versions. I personally still use RPG Maker MV because privately made MZ plugins are often made with AI, and the more recent RPG Maker versions they've released are Unity plugins and not their own seperate program, and I'm not interested in Unity at all.

There's an update to the situation, GGG has decided to archive the site after a huge stink was made. Who knows how much of it will actually survive though.

URGENT POST: if you have migraines, astigmatism, binocular vision dysfunction, seizures, or any kind of photosensitivity, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT UPDATE YOUR IPHONE TO IOS 26.1. The redesign of the user interface is triggering nausea, migraines, vertigo, and other issues for many many people worldwide, but especially those with the conditions I listed above. I was up all night last night with nausea after using my phone for 30 minutes.

Something about the glass effect they added, plus the redesign of the apps, everything looks blurry and appears to shake. I experience incredible eye strain looking at my Home Screen now and it is making me very physically ill. Don’t even risk it. Hopefully Apple resolves this ASAP. I’ve fiddled with the settings as much as I can to reduce harm but I’m still getting sick looking at it. My nausea meds didn’t even touch the nausea either. It’s bad, guys.

back to Accessibility -> Motion -> Reduce Motion.

Those are the two I did at least.
