I will never not reblog this
anyway that was a waste of my goddamn time now back to speedrunning
Tired of dumbass nihilist shit. Been there done that Everything matters actually. Like just factually every god damn thing effects Something even if it's not anything huge or obvious. Things cannot exist without having any impact on anything else
Saw a post in some space tags recently that was like. "The galaxy with the earth" "the galaxy without the earth" with the same picture twice and "the universe doesn't care" and that's Fucking Stupid! Ohhh you can't see this planet from that far away.. Shut up. Even ignoring everything going on On the planet, our gravity effects the orbit of the rest of the shit around here. You can't see the moon from that far away either but its gravity still pulls the tides. Eat my ass
"Ohh in the grand scheme of things-" what about the little scheme of things? Huh? Ever thought about that, sadboy? The big picture is made up of brush strokes, fool
Try stuff. Put plants in your room even if you aren’t the best at caring for them. Attempt that dessert recipe even if it turns out ugly. Listen to that music you’ve been meaning to try for a while. The world is full of infinite sources of goodness and the best thing to do it to try and find as many as possible.
i’m so fucking grateful the era of “triggered???” jokes is coming to a close because even if u have the soul to disregard what they’re making fun of i swear to you. every single one of the people who made these jokes in person. caused the longest awkward moments i have ever lived through. i have literally never heard this word uttered without a massive wave of shame emitting from the source, somehow mirroring back a million times so we are all forced to suffer the secondhand embarrassment of a human being being utterly and incomprehensibly not funny

Okay, hot fucking take. Cruella was good. It was a fucking good film. It followed the trend of the Maleficent movies in its intent to humanise the villains of Disney. If you went into it expecting anything else Idk what to tell you. The fashion element was AMAZING. Both Emma’s were fantastic as they always are. THE MOTH SCENE MADE MY FUCKING JAW DROP. Like can we take a hot second and just enjoy a movie? It’s been out two days.
parents: okay we will be home at 11 o'clock!
clock: 11:01
me: they're dead i'm alone i need to start my orphan life now
Sudden wave of an immense love for humanity has hit me once again…
We all exist together… that’s pretty neat…
Okay but there are several reasons that are kinda interesting
1) fast food restaurants cannot advertise to children anymore, so that means no more bright colors and child friendly mascots
2) McDonalds and the like have been loosing ground to “fresh fast food” chains like Chipotle for the better part of two decades, and this style is meant to emulate that more clean, “mature” style.
3) Resale on property. See, fast food isn’t doing as well as it did in the 90s-early 2000s, and where it used to be fairly rare to have a fast food place close, now a days you might have a location close, and good luck selling the old, branded building to a completely different business. You know those closed Pizza Huts that just sorta sit there forever, very clearly having been a Pizza Hut? Well as it turns out, most businesses don’t want to buy a building that is recognizably from a different brand. You’d basically have to tear down the building and start over, a costly decision when there are plenty of plain looking spaces that you can buy/rent and put a lot less cost into renovations. So for a fast food chain now, it’s far better to have a plain “this could be any sort of counter service place, just change the signs!” In case you have to close that location and sell the building.
Basically fast food places look like this now because fast food is an industry that is well past it’s peak profits, and businesses must plan for their eventual closure and for their building to simply be absorbed into the next trend or monopoly.
This makes sense but also there's an urgent care in my area that has the pizza hut roof
Every time this post hits my dash there’s more salty landlords in the comments, die mad leeches lol
