The soul of an individual is priceless. No wealth nor treasure would ever sum up to how precious a soul is. It's value is immeasurable. And the Devil will stop at nothing to claim it. http://www.wattpad.com/story/1105066-inverted
Khaleesi. I follow back. :)
An old drawing of mine.
What do you do?
You are homeless - living in the streets, utilizing what shade you could to shield you from the scorching afternoon sun, or perhaps as a roof to shelter you and your family whenever the clouds wept. The city dust clings unto your skin, scraping it off some time before you fall asleep leaving a dirty residue underneath your untrimmed nails. You force yourself and your children to doze under the traffic noise which went all day long, pretending that you don’t hear a thing, that you are caught in the comfort of a very soft mattress, not some hard concrete of some random place in which your family had decided to settle for the night. You are hungry – your stomach growls in complaint of emptiness, threatening to digest itself should you fail to give it something else to be busy with. Even the pebbles you find scattered across the cracked sidewalk become interesting to the eyes so long as you could divert your attention from the numbness your starved self have endured for quite a few days now. Too weak to even raise your hand and beg for alms, you watch as a fly perches itself near one of your ankles. You don’t even care. You tap the screwdriver inside your pocket, thinking that sticking someone up is the only way for your children to survive, their faces as good as dead for they’re just as hungry as you are. What do you do?
Matryoshka Doll
Fulfillment varies depending on one’s age. For an infant, success is definable as finally learning to stand on one’s feet, taking his first baby steps. Later on, at age of five, an accomplishment is marked by the ability to read and to write. As he progresses and becomes a teenager, it may be a diploma in middle school, and as a graduate, a job perhaps. Several years later, that person who is now a firmly established businessman would then find happiness engaging in a relationship. At a certain point in his life, getting married would be the turning point in which he’ll dwell in contentment had the relationship been given ample time to mature, rendering it unbreakable. It doesn't stop there. It never does - having his own children, watching the playoffs with his son, chasing the guys hitting on her daughter, and growing old with his lovely wife. These things, material or not, mark the moments in which one would utter the words ‘I did it’ unto himself.
However, running a reality check tells us that to live doesn't necessarily mean to keep gaining.                Once in a while, we take hits. A sense of completion, more often than not, is achievable at a cost. Just as boiling an egg requires patience, so does reaching our goals. Good grades take dedication as a masterpiece becomes such with inspiration. Landing a career is a benefit of years of unfaltering hard work, making your way up one step at a time, putting yourself to the task, knowing your priorities and learning how to sacrifice. Be it part of your allowance for a new set of shoes or part of your free time spent to study in advance so as to avoid cramming in the future, everything, unless given free for taking, comes at a price.                Notice how a Matryoshka doll is layered. To reach the core, an outer shell needs to be removed, exposing the next until the innermost doll, its very soul, is all that remains. Each loss and gain, sorrow and happiness, defeat and victory is represented by the outer layers that house the centerpiece.                It is normal for a kid to desire every toy he sees in the shelves of a department store. It is common for a fashion trendy person to be seen eyeing designer clothes, and while it is inappropriate, a glutton will want more food in his belly even when he is already about to burst. These things, the material ones, are best symbolized by the outermost layer. Observe how it is the biggest among all the other dolls. Dismantling it will bring us closer towards the center, but in order to do so, one must first open the visible doll to reveal the next.                Matryoshka dolls, or commonly known as nested dolls, are traditionally composed of at least five layers. But the number of shells depends upon the craftsman. It can be dozens or more, just as it is up to an individual if his possessions can provide him with contentment. Fame, wealth, and other worldly desires – all these are the embodied by the outer layers, the arrangement of which relies on how significant one is to the next.                 As we go deeper down the rabbit hole, we bring with us what we need and shed what are useless, lessons instilled in us along the way. Sometimes, we even take risks for the promise of a greater reward. We stumble and fall. We rise. We weigh our choices and pick what we think will elevate us to a higher platform.
Our daily life experiences will one day be reflected upon. The moment we remove all these layers, the second we break free from every shell is the time when we look back and watch how everything else matters very little compared to what you’re left with. The instant when we have eliminated our fascination of perishable wants is the stage when we break free of the chains of discontentment. Once we rid ourselves of the things that drive us to thirst for more, once we have safely climbed crossed the narrow mountainside by dropping excess weight, we become and see ourselves – our true selves.                Similar to a nested doll, I’m layers off before I discover my true self, but I’m on my way there.                We all are. http://www.wattpad.com/story/7226610-matryoshka-doll
Perfection. :)
I'm not fond of this character to be honest. Someone requested me to draw. Can't say no to a friend. :)
Dragon among us. :)
Dinner with girlfriend at Karate Kid. :) <3 The usual: tempura and cheesy maki + some new stuff.Â
The most beautiful dragon.
ANNIVERSARY
I ran across the meadow field
to greet her with a hug,
and she agrees to sit with me
together by the log.
It’s been a year since she left me,
from then my whole life burned.
At last the sun melted the snow
and now she has returned.
It’s been so long since I last saw
her pretty dolly eyes.
Her eyes of brown which I would wipe
so gently when she cries.
I kissed her lips and kissed once more
just like when we were wed.
The kiss was good just like before,
and then she softly said:
I miss you dear, no need to fear,
for it will not be long,
for us to be as one again,
and once more sing our song.
As true as it may always seem
I woke up on my bed.
To know that it was just a dream
for she's already dead.

Listen. His voice is just amazing. Guitarist is just as good at what he does. Had to reblog this. Such a talent should be seen by the world.
I will take what is mine with fire and blood.

INVERTED I have fallen for evil and darkness, I’m afraid. -Raphael Connor It is when the mind couldn’t communicate well with the pen a writer fearfully stares at a blank sheet. It is when staring at a blank sheet a writer with a book contract does not sleep peacefully at night. Enter Raphael Connor. What he thought being a writer was didn’t sum up to what he thought it was supposed to be. Depressed after his recent break-up, he could simply choose to end everything with a rope now that he was about to fail to submit a book for the second time. Having no idea on how to pay rent and get a decent income, he was at the verge of losing everything. No money. No love. No hope. Raphael had nothing. Except what everyone was born with - a soul. The soul of an individual is priceless. No wealth nor treasure would ever sum up to how precious a soul is. It’s value is immeasurable. And the Devil will stop at nothing to claim it.
Reunion
Hi my friends, it's been so long! I hope you're doing fine. If I have ever done you wrong, Please know the fault is mine.Â
All of whom to me are dear please find yourselves a seat. I can't stay long because I fear I have more guests to greet.Â
Do forgive, I got no beer. Should I make you some coffee? Some juice, or tea, for you my peer? Or rather something classy?Â
I'm glad you were able to come on such a very short notice. I recall when we used to hum as one back in the office.Â
It must've cost my dad a lot to arrange such an event. so bear with him and leave him not and give a compliment.Â
I missed you too, no need to cry. At last we're now complete. After the years that passed us by Why, isn't this a treat?Â
I do admire our plain attire, I love this costume party. All in black without retire And white and nothing naughty.Â
All is well, so save that tear and take this lonely muffin. It feels so good to see you here from inside this lovely coffin.
