First, head to the link for the AO3 collection [add link here- can send them straight to sign up if we want]. Next, under ‘Dashboard’, press ‘Sign Up’ under the name of the collection to the right.
It will give you the following form:

Semi-anonymous prompt?: You need to tick this box.
AO3 says: 'Semi-anonymous' means that your prompt will be displayed as 'anonymous'; however, since it will still be linked in the database with your username, we can't guarantee 100% anonymity - in some circumstances, such as a coding bug, it might be accidentally revealed or guessable. (We've put a lot of work into minimising the risk, but we want to be sure that our users are completely informed about their levels of privacy.)
And lastly, on the bottom right; Add another request: Do you want to do another prompt? Press this button and the page will expand to let you add another. (You can do this at any time by clicking ‘My Prompts’ on the collection page then selecting ‘Edit Sign-Up’)
When you are done, press Submit and your prompt will go live. You then claim it as normal on the collection page. You MUST claim your own prompt.
After your prompt is up, you can go back in and edit it if you want to change it, or edit your entire sign-up (aka all your prompts.)

Hermione had been so busy admiring the view that she hadn't noticed there was already someone standing by the elevators, leaning against the opposite wall.
It's easy enough to recognise him. It's the teaching assistant from the lab, the one she caught looking at her.
She squeezes around her textbook. He's tall and quite obviously good looking, well-dressed with dark hair and sharp features. Being a demonstrator, she's sure he's either a postgraduate student or a young researcher, so he must be smart too.
With beauty and brains, her mother would call him the full package.
People like that didn't usually talk to her.
"Hi," she chirps back, but as soon as it leaves her lips, she's struck with a wave of doubt, so she adds, "um... sorry. Were you talking to me?"
He smiles and laughs softly through his nose. "Who else would I be talking to?"
Hermione glances behind her. The rest of the corridor by the elevator is empty aside from them.
