Saw people saying that CP is the ultimate enemies to lovers story. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it went something like this.
The universe does not scream.

Happy Friday, everyone! The coven is so excited to bring you the first Friends of Farm Witches Fic Rec List!
We got enough recs from our friends that we decided to split them up so you can look forward to more community recs soon! The witches really enjoyed seeing your suggestions and comments on why these fics were faves of yours. Please enjoy these recs and be sure to give the creators some love!

Back to the drawing board (mycleverusername) “I love this. It’s funny, and I love the internet thirsting after this kind of nerdy Patrick, and well, just everything about it. Even if it is kind of stressful to read, having to relive the election a little bit.”
Behind the scenes of “The Barbecue” (@reasonandfaithinharmony) **GIFSET** “This gifset excellently shows Patrick’s reaction to Rachel showing up at the barbecue in a way that you don’t get to see in the show. It’s easy to miss the subtleties of how Patrick reacts in the show, but with the behind the scenes footage it’s clear just how talented he is!”
Dancing beneath your skin (houdini74/@mostlyinthemorning) “The tattoos are such a great idea.”
Favored Nations (@blueink3) “An epic AU that I’ve reread a million times. All original characters are excellently written and stay true to themselves. The story itself is amazing. I felt for Patrick coming out under such pressure. The entire winter, when outrageous fortune was updated every Sunday, it made my week. I looked forward to it more than is healthy but the story helped me through a tough time and I can never thank the author enough.”
Finding David (sonlali/@landofsonlali) “Because it brings up all the soft fresh feelings of brand new husbands moving in together. Its fluffy and funny, domestic and sweet, plus it has cuddles and kisses. What more could you ask for?”
Home sweet home (Poutini/@cheesecurdsgravyandfries) “Poutini writes some of the best smut in the fandom with the perfect amounts of humour, creativity, and sweetness. She never misses! This fic of David & Patrick officially christening every room of their new house would have stood well enough on its own, but the addition of the visuals of their hilariously checked off list just makes it that much better.”
How easy it could be (@maxbegone) “Patrick and Stevie as BFFs? Slow burn? Coffee? What’s not to love?”
I carry these heart-shapes only to you (@ladyflowdi, @ships-to-sail) “I rarely see this fic recommended but it is so good. It’s an historical AU set in Paris at the tail end of WW2 which might be why it gets less traction. It sat on my marked for later list for a while as I’m not usually one for historical fic but I’m so glad I got around to reading it and have re-read it 5 or 6 times in the last 2 years. Lines and scenes from this fic live in my head rent-free. It is so beautifully written (the amount I could gush on the epilogue alone!) David arrives in Paris after it’s liberation from the Germans to help Alexis get out of a Stavros hole, only to encounter Captain Patrick Brewer one night in a GI bar on 7 days leave before a final mission. The story of how they fall in love (because OF COURSE they fall in love) is beautiful, the plot is great, the characterisations are spot on, bits of cannon are wound throughout so well. I simply cannot recommend this highly enough.“
Let me paint you a picture (houdini74/@mostlyinthemorning) “What do I love about it? The fact that I didn’t see the twist coming, the first time I read the fic. The angst, the details about painters, the twist, have made this fic, a comfort fic that I keep coming back to read.”
Rescue mission (@apothecarose) “"Rescue Mission" is funny, unique, and completely brilliant! David and Stevie are aliens tasked with monitoring the doomed situation on Earth, and break protocol by attempting to rescue Patrick - if only they can figure out how to beam him up!”
Rooting for you (@thesleepyskipper) “A short, two fic series with Patrick the plant nursery owner and David looking for a new vendor. Tons of sweet flirting, a first date and kiss, bonus Ronnie trolling, and so many plants. Just a fun, cute, different AU take that deserves some love.”
Work of heart (iola17/@beaiola) “I love to see David creating his own works of art and breathing life into them. This work is about a new craft a lot of people won’t know much about- the art of pyrography or wood burning. It’s not an easy craft to learn but thankfully David has his family and friends there for him every step of the way.”
Yahrzeit (therapychicken) “I love this fic. I know it’s a hard sell because of the warning and the tags, but please consider reading it. It is sad, but in that loving, quiet, thoughtful way. I love it for many reasons—it taught me a little, it made me think, it affected how I look at canon a bit, and it pulled at my heart. I have thought about it consistently and achingly in the past nine months since I first read it. Trust me, you can trust this author—reading it will hurt, but it will be worth it.”

Be careful what you wish for when tagging people @weathereyehorizon 😬
The soot-covered solar system poster on the wall could have come from Christopher's room. Same with the red Nintendo Switch melted on the nightstand. The door to the closet was charred, crumbling in their hands as they pulled it open with a prayer. Buck pulled off his mask with a sob as he dove headfirst into the pile of dirty clothes that screamed pre-teen, pulling out a limp form in a pair of dinosaur print sleep pants.
Eddie held his breath as Buck cradled the boy to his chest with an achingly familiar gentleness and forced an exhale as Buck's fingers scrabbled for a pulse. His choked gasp of relief when the boy stirred in his arms punched through Eddie like a knockout hit. Buck ran out of the charred remains of the house as if chased by the ghost of what could have been.
Anyone else who wants to play along consider yourself tagged
“Is this a sex thing?”
“It’s not a sex thing,” Buck says. “But it’s also not not a sex thing.”
Suddenly Eddie is imagining it and his mouth goes dry. “Tell me more.”
Buck’s eyes are dark and serious as he meets Eddie’s gaze. “I know we both get in our heads about things. And therapy has been great, but there’s still some things that – sometimes I need more than to talk about it.”
“And you think that something is this?” He’s starting to think he might be into it, at least aesthetically.
“Yeah, I guess? I just – I just want to trust you. To give me what I need.”
Eddie takes Buck’s face in his hands and shifts so he can look at him as he answers him, because he wants Buck to know he’s telling him the truth. “If this is what you need, then this is what we do. I’m proud of you for asking.”
Buck ducks his head, blushing. “Thank you,” he murmurs.

Eddie's eyes trace up the length of Buck’s throat to the dark circles under his eyes and the thin sheen of sweat along his brow. He looks exhausted in a way Eddie is intimately familiar with, and he can't help but lean into Buck’s space, letting the press of his body offer some silent support.

“Let’s get you out of these wet clothes,” Patrick says, low and soft, as he grasps the hem of David’s shirt and begins to lift it up.

“The first brush of his lips is soft, hesitant even, there and gone far too quickly. Patrick chases his mouth, eager for a real kiss, one that will answer the questions that have been tumbling inside him for weeks now. The second kiss is longer, their lips softly pressing and sliding together. David sucks on Patrick’s lower lip and lightly bites it, and Patrick’s whole body lights up like Times Square. ”

Patrick’s soggy hoodie is lying in a heap by his feet and he is standing in front of them in a thread bare white t-shirt, completely soaked through, and clinging indecently to his body. Patrick's typical wardrobe of professional button downs and casual hoodies have been keeping a lot hidden.

Stevie helps these idiots figure out their feelings and Patrick is wet for the entirety of this fic.

A Little Rain Must Fall
It’s the third time this week that David’s gotten caught in the rain and seeing his business partner in his wet clothes is definitely testing Patrick’s professional boundaries. But the rain isn’t David’s fault…or is it?
