--Introduction--

Hello,

I'm gonna try and update this either monthly or every couple of months if possible or post a new one.

Plans for this blog:

Right now I'm really nostalgic for 2014-2018 as those where the main years I was a teen, but was too worried about not being taken seriously so didn't have really any fun. I have a secondary blog that I reblog more stuff on (tealwanderess). I used to have tumblr in the golden age but got rid of it during the pandemic for a reason I can't remember.

However I want this to be a bit of a digital scrapbook of sorts, I have creative projects planned for this summer including customizing clothing and shoes instead of looking for things to buy I want to customize what I have, so when I start to work on them, the digital renders will be posted with the progress of the items. Also just somewhere to post thoughts, that aren't long enough or deemed by me important enough to put in a journal entry.

Also to help me get out of my comfort zone some, cause I can be such a perfectionist.

Hobbies: Listening to music, some podcasts, reading, trying to get into journaling to empty my cluttered brain. In the warm months: Archery, learning to skateboard, bike riding and being outside more is the plan. In the cold months: Crocetching and video games (not exclusive to the winter but I'm inside more)

Music: I don't really listen to specific artists with the exception of Halsey, abosolutly love their music, she helped me get through rough times more than once. Main broad genres would be alternative, movie/game scores, pop and country.

Podcasts: Two Girls, One Ghost and Crimes of... with Sabrina Deana-Roga and Corinne Vein, Clues with Morgan Absher & Kaelyn Moore, As the Raven Dreams, Smosh Reads Reddit Stories, Two Hot Takes, and Dark Swamp Horror Stories to name a few.

TV Current watch is: The OC. I miss when shows had decent plots and weren't scripted for second screen viewing cause if I'm watching it, I'm actually watching and may only be on another screen to figure out if I know an actor from another show/movie.

Books: My current read is Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard. If you've read it, please no spoilers. Other than that The Hunger Games Series, AGGGTM (still need to read the third book but I enjoyed the other two), Where Sleeping Girls Lie (great book but if you're gonna read this please be aware there is talk of SA in the book).

Movies: I enjoy adventure or dystopian or action movies mainly. Currently don't have a favorite movie.

Video games (no specific order): Minecraft, Sims 4 (not a fan of the EA buyout), GTA V, Assassins Creed Series, Sid Meier's Civilization V and VI, Fallout 4, Far Cry Series, Metro Exodus Series, Tomb Raider Series. Would love to play The Last of Us but only have a gaming laptop right now that couldn't handle it.

Hair Oopsie

So my hair is relatively short, its in a crop/pixie with an undercut; and is pretty easy to bleach to level 10. Well I tried to do a pastel purple/lavender (like 2014 Pale/Soft Grunge) with Arctic Fox's (AF) Girls Night and diluting it with white conditioner on level 10N hair.

I had a plan that I executed badly and then the plan was thrown out the window all together (metaphorically). I know the color I'm aiming for will fade/wash out fast but that's ok because there are a few other colors I want to do this summer which are also pastel.

So now my hair looks like I dip dyed my ends in AF Girls Night and my roots and the first inch of hair is closer to a lavender silver that does that color shift thing in direct light :/ Don't get me wrong this would look absolutely wicked on someone with a bob or longer hair in general but it's just not it on the length I have. So in a couple days I may use a color remover treatment, to see if I can get the ends to a lighter purple closer to a lavender but if it removes most or all then I'll try again and stick to a better plan.

It is also my first time using Arctic Fox, and I've learned it doesn't bleed as much (or barely at all) compared to Manic Panic which I've used in the past.

So update on the hair, I used a color remover treatment. I left it on for the max time and washed my hair with shampoo 3 times as it says todo. My ends are now a shade lighter than I was originally going for (so no longer a true AF Girls night) and my roots/first inch of my hair is now white, like old lady white lol.

It doesn't look half bad actually and in natural light it looks really nice and does the color shift thing and looks almost all one shade (a very very pale lavender). It looks almost as if i had the original color I was going for but has faded over the course of a few weeks (obviously not what happened).

I think for the rest of the summer I may just bleach and color my undercut because I know about every 3 weeks I can cut it short again and re-bleach and dye it if the color doesn't fade fast enough.

I still may at the end of the summer/last week of august dye my hair a turquoise/teal shade but I don't think I'll be diluting it.

i think i was born in the wrong climate, i thrive in the warmth, i need somewhere that feels like summer all year round. Alas I was born Canada where winter has shifted to be almost 4-5 months of the year now. If I lived in a warm climate, and in the suburbs or the by the beach, my family would never see me. So summer if you could please hurry up and get here that would be grand
