sometimes i think about how I was 17 when I watched The 100, like I was in the formative years of my life and just starting to really question my sexuality when I watched a lesbian character that I saw myself in (or who i could be) get murdered right after making love to a woman. it was just a little?? fucking traumatizing???? like it’s five years later and i still think about it randomly. but now there are shows like she-ra, the owl house, etc that the next generation of kids are watching right now during the formative years of their life and its amazing to think instead of getting scarred by the same kinds of ugly messages i received as a kid, theyre seeing themselves reflected in their culture in a positive and normal way. to some people she-ra is just another show for them to criticize or whatever, but to some of us it’s healing bro. it’s helping us heal from past scars and giving hope to younger kids today. anyway i just heard that they killed off bellamy LMAOO press f to pay respects
It’s a perfect day in Bright Moon for a royal wedding 💖

Some outtakes from the wedding day
Catra FINALLY let Sparkles brush her hair, only today though. Adora loves them so much, apparently.
Everyone was wearing sunglasses, it looked like they were straight from the Matrix, but like, candy version. It was too bright and too cloudy. Either they were too emotional, having an eyestrain or the allergies were starting to act up. The point is, no dry eyes that day.
She’s the reason why. Absolutely RELENTLESS

IM SCREAMING
I wanted to try some redraws of She-Ra and of course had to start with Glimbow. I’m so happy they are canon!
Is anyone gonna talk about THIS?
My girl went from this:
Unable to teleport multiple people at the same time, and this:
Only managing a few teleports before fainting and needing to recharge in season 1
To THIS:
in season 5 and I just ... asdfghjkl. We LOVE and stan personal development and growth for our literal queen.
It’s Glimmer fan art time

HI LET’S SHARE NICOLE’S WORDS ON THE SUBJECT!
It has been literal years but every time I see Martin’s tweets posted somewhere and his word is shared as truth while her post is not shared it sort of reiterates the fact that we trust men to speak about feminism more than we believe women who experience it.
Interesting, innit? https://medium.com/@nickyknacks/working-while-female-59a5de3ad266
Reading her account of how their boss treated her blows me away. Men are so emboldened that they will literally admit to illegal discrimination casually and face no consequences.
In all the years of seeing this post I’ve never seen a link to her side. Didn’t even know she’d written one.
Adding screenshots of her post. His whole post is there without needing a link. Hers should be, too.
Also, she posted this is 2017! It’s fucking 2020 and I’ve seen his side of this for years, but it took 3 years for her side to make its way to my dash…
I’ve reblogged his story at least twice; it’s time for Nicole’s.
