Some character concepts for the main character in a story I'm working on. Working Title is "A Girl Called Ron". She's a scrappy, determined, fearless and genuine 11-year old.

Well, long time no see, Tumblr! My trials and struggles in NYC are finally over, and we have returned to the bosom of Portland to nurse our wounds and recover from that gauntlet. It was a wild ride, but we’re super glad to be home. And now that I’m no longer desperately scrambling to keep a roof over my head, fighting and endless parade of mental illness and debt, and working multiple jobs, I can make art again! First thing I did was go to a friends’ wedding. These two are the most wonderful people and I’m super glad they found each other. Holy HECK my art skills are rusty. Oof.

Quick little warmup comic. Sorry I've been AWOL, got myself a full-time job and a part-time job and I'm doing freelance on the side when I can. So things are a little crazy!
