Beppu is famous for it’s wide variety of Onsen (hot springs) and of colored hells (hot water sources). And it’s what we did: soaking in the Onsens (the most relaxing was the one made of mud, where you can sit outside, surrounded by the beautiful nature). Beppu city is surprisingly very artistic and we will have our little guide Meoko showing us all her secret places ...

In arriving at Aso station, we felt a strong bbq smell ... The volcano Aso is in eruption! No hike for us, but we will walk the day in the cute village and enjoy the mount from far. Next time!Â

We meet the beautiful Akari san, barista at MANU Coffee, and Masa san, who lived 10 years in Paris. Masa san will show us all day long his best spots in Fukuoka and Dazaifu. We end this beautiful day at a delicious Izakaya Sake.

Nekko (cat) shrine, welcome by this amazing Monk's family who offered us tea and presents... And a visit of the secret room. Fugu (fish with poison, you need to have a diploma to prepare it) delights and crazy night in a Fukuoka night club with 99% Japanese (the 1% was Marija and I !) Love you my girls Junko & Marija! See you soon for a weekend in Kyoto !
