Summary: When All Might asked her to fly halfway across the world, she was expecting the situation to be serious.
What she wasn't expecting was a school full of meddling teenage heroes-in-training, a team of Villains on the rise and a very quiet teacher she really shouldn't be finding attractive to be a part of it.
But hey, what could possibly go wrong?

She covered her head with the pillow, trying to muffle the nonstop knocking coming from the door.
Groaning, she reached for her phone on the nightstand to check the time.
8:36
You've got to be fucking kidding me!
She got out of bed and marched to the door, unlocking it and swinging it open, coming face to face with a smirking Hawks.
"I said after 9!" She said through clenched teeth before turning on her heels and slamming the door closed.
She must not have been fast enough though, because she heard him push it open and walk into her room as she dropped back onto her bed.
Walking towards her, he took hold of the pillow she had over her head and threw it at the foot of the bed.
"Good morning Sunshine!" He said with fake excitement as he stared down at her with his smirk still plastered on his face.
"I will pluck you." She whispered through clenched teeth, which seemed to amuse him tremendously.
Suddenly, she felt his hand wrap around her ankle and next thing she knew she was on the floor with a loud thump.
She watched dumbfounded as he walked over her and took her place on the bed. She lay on the floor, too shocked to move as he got comfortable, resting his hands beneath his head and closing his eyes.
"Wake me up when you're dressed."
Jumping to her feet she reached for the discarded pillow.
"You fucking oversized pigeon!" She wishper-yelled before throwing the pillow at his head.
He caught it mid-air and burst out laughing.
There was another knock behind her and she turned to glare at the door . She contemplated not answering so she could smother him with the pillow, but settled for flicking her fingers at him and making a small torrent of freezing water splash on his face.
He yelped at the sudden assault and she turned toward the door with a satisfied look on her face.
Opening it, she came face to face with Aizawa. He was already dressed for the day even though it was Saturday and he was likely free.
"Hey, are you okay ? I heard a-" The look of concern was immediately replaced by a death glare as his eyes moved over her shoulder.
She followed his gaze and only just then realized what that whole scene must have looked like to an outsider.
Her, wearing only a t-shirt and sleep shorts, hair still wild from sleep and Hawks lying on her bed, hair wet, in a t-shirt and sweatpants. Oh, and said t-shirt having ridden up slightly to reveal his taut stomach as he attempted to wipe his face with the hem of the shirt.
"Oh, hey Eraserhead!" He jumped up from the bed and came to stand right behind her.
She stood between them, gaze moving from Hawks' calm one to Aizawa’s glaring one.
His jaw was clenched so tightly, she could see the muscle in his jaw twitch.
"Visitors aren't allowed inside faculty rooms." His tone was deathly calm but his eyes, that never left Hawks', were saying a very different story.
"Oh I'm sorry, I had no idea." She said quickly, wincing slightly.
His gaze moved to her, his eyes immediately softening.
"It's okay, I just wanted to let you know." Even the tone of his voice was considerably softer as he spoke.
"It's my fault actually, I came over earlier than we had agreed and she was still sleeping." Hawks admitted as he threw a hand over her shoulder.
She turned to stare at it, eyes wide. What the hell was he doing?
Glancing at Aizawa, his attention was on the hand as well, before moving back to Hawks who had that stupid smirk on his face.
"I'll see you later then." He muttered, eyes still locked on Hawks before walking to his room, the door slamming shut behind him.
She couldn't remember hearing his door slamming before.
"What the fuck was that?" She shrugged off his arm as she faced him.
Hawks looked absolutely ecstatic for a reason she couldn't understand. There wasn't a single point of that interaction that should have made him happy.
"Oh my god, Eraserhead has a crush on you." He whispered, almost vibrating with delight as he continued staring at the door.
She gasped at his words causing his face to snap towards her and his smile to widen even more.
"Blue," he began, voice giddy "Do you have a crush on Shota Aizawa?"
She tried to form a sentence to deny his accusation but her mind had gone blank. Did Aizawa make her smile? Sure! Did her stomach flip whenever he looked at her? Sometimes! Was he ridiculously hot? Obviously!
But a crush?
I mean... yes?
"Okay shut up!" She growled at Hawks who was laughing his head off, before grabbing a a t-shirt and running shorts and heading to the bathroom to get ready.
She didn't even know why he was laughing so hard. The situation was anything but funny.
________
After dropping their bags on the grass, they made their way to their usual spot. They stood facing each other, Hawks in his T-shirt and sweatpants, his hair now fully dry and Blue wearing a forest green t-shirt and black running shorts.
"You know, the whole point of this is for you to learn how to use your new sword. Did you forget it?" He raised an eyebrow, watching her expectantly. His feather-blade already in his hand.
"Nope, I've got it right here." She touched her necklace.
The confusion on his face gave her immense satisfaction and it only grew as his eyes widened at the sight of the charm expanding in her hand.
"Impressed?" She raised an eyebrow, mimicking his earlier expression.
"Barely." He said, squinting his eyes slightly.
She took in a deep breath, praying she'll be able to pull the next move off on her first try.
"How about now?" Urging her fire Quirk forward.
She watched as a small flame appeared at the point where the blade and handle connected before it began spreading outward towards the tip, until the whole blade was covered in flames.
She swung the sword in an arch in front of her, studying the flames as they danced on the metal but never went out.
"Ok yeah, that's impressive" Hawks admitted with a nod of his head.
She let the fire die down, until it disappeared completely and all that was left was the obsidian blade glimmering in the sun, not a burn mark in sight. When Power Loader told her that the sword was completely fireproof, a part of her hadn't really believed him but she was definitely glad it was the truth.
"I will be more impressed when you are actually able to use it." He taunted as he braced his feet and raised his blade toward her.
She copied his stance, internally wishing he would go easy on her given that it was her first time using the weapon.
He didn't.
In fact, it seemed to her that his swings had more force behind them than the last few times they trained. Almost like he was trying to test the its strength.
It must have been nearly unbreakable because by the end of the training session, it didn't seem to have received a single scratch, the blade shining like it wasn't used to block Hawks' countless attacks.
"Your moves are becoming more fluid." He took a sip from his water bottle as he used the t-shirt he had removed at some point to wipe the sweat off the back of his neck. "You even managed to block most of my attacks."
"High praise." She commented from were she was lying on the grass, an arm over her eyes as she attempted to catch her breath. Her sword was back around her neck.
"Can you cool this?" He leaned down offering her his bottle.
She sat up slightly before taking it in her hands and cooling it rapidly until a thin layer of frost surrounded it.
He took it back with a small thanks before raising it high and dumping the whole thing over his head. He visibly shivered as the nearly freezing water touched his overheated skin, before shaking his head like a wet dog, making water droplets fly everywhere.
"Jesus!" She exclaimed as she raised an arm, creating a thin air shield so that the freezing water wouldn't touch her.
She was about to call him an idiot, when she caught movement from the corner of her eye. Turning toward the school, she watched as a familiar group of students approached them.
"Do you know them?" He asked after noticing them as well.
"Yes, they're from class 1-A." She sat cross legged and reached inside her bag for her own water bottle.
"Isn't that Eraserhead's class?" He teased and she shot him a glare from her place on the ground.
"Hello Blue!" Mina called out and even though she was addressing her, her eyes were locked on Hawks' abs and honestly who could blame her?
The rest of the girls seemed to be in a similar state while most of the boys stared at him in awe. Especially Izuku.
"Hi guys!" She greeted them after taking a few gulps of water. "Have you met Hawks?"
They shook their heads.
"Well, this is him." She gestured towards him. "And these are the first years students of the hero course."
"So you are our future heroes! I hope you are working hard." He beamed at them, turning the charm up to 100%.
There was a sea of nods.
"Are you training together?" Uraraka asked, looking between them.
"Isn't it obvious?" He teased, motioning at his body that was glistening with a mixture of water and sweat.
The girls blushed and Bakugo snorted from the back of the group.
"Put on a shirt!" Blue chastised him as she rose to her feet and grabbed her bag. "We just finished actually. Do you guys need something?"
She could hear Hawks behind her rustling around in his bag looking for a spare shirt.
"No, we just saw the two of you here and wanted to say hi." Izuku answered and the rest of them nodded.
"Hi!" Hawks said from behind her, walking up next to her, finally having found his shirt, with his backpack slung over his shoulder.
The tips of the boy's ears turned pink under the Hero's direct attention.
"Well, I need to run." He announced, checking the time on his phone. "I'll text you. Bye kids!" He waved at them before striding off towards the parking lot.
The group watched him until he disappeared from their view. Then all eyes were on her.
"What?" She asked as she looked at their eager faces.
________
"So I heard something very interesting just now." Midnight declared as she sat down directly opposite her.
They were at the cafeteria eating lunch, Toshinori was next to her and Yamada was opposite him with Aizawa next to him. They had left the chair opposite Blue available for Midnight who was running late.
She looked up from her plate and the look in Midnight’s eyes clearly spelled trouble. After finally managing to escape the kids and their a hundred and one questions about Hawks and her relationship with him, all she wanted to do is eat her lunch in peace. It was clear now, that wouldn't be happening.
"I heard the first years students talking," she continued after getting no response from her, "and apparently you were over at the training field with a shirtless, sweaty Hawks. Mind telling what was that about?"
There was a wide smile on her face and her eyes were shining with excitement.
A metallic crunch was heard and all four of them turned towards Aizawa, who had apparently crushed the soda can he was holding in his hand.
"Sorry." He muttered as he reached for the paper towels and began dabbing at the liquid that had splattered over his hand and the table.
She noticed Mic shoot him a concerned look, before offering him more napkins and leaning close to whisper something to him.
"When did that happen?" Toshinori asked, turning to her with a raised eyebrow.
"We were training earlier and they just happened to get there when we were finished. He was really hot and dumped some water over his head to cool down." She explained.
"Apparently there is a rumor that you are dating." Midnight said in a teasing tone.
"Oh please! They also thought I was dating him when I first got here." She exclaimed, pointing at Toshinori. "Hawks and I are just friends."
Her gaze flickered to Aizawa to see if he would react at her statement, but he seemed engrossed with the food on his plate.
After they finished lunch, they all went off to do their own thing, and even Toshinori had a meeting with Nezu so she ended up walking to her room on her own.
"Blue, wait!" She heard Aizawa call out from somewhere behind her.
Turning around, she saw him jogging up to her and waited for him to reach her. She assumed he wanted to talk about the incident that morning, even though she really hadn't known that she wasn't allowed to have outsiders in her room.
"Look I know what you're going to say." She spoke first before he could. "In my defense, no one told me there were rules in place and besides I didn't even invite him, he just showed up."
He looked really guilty all of a sudden.
"I did want to talk to you about this morning but that's not what I was going to say." His eyes were lowered and he was avoiding her gaze.
"There are no rules about bringing people to your room." He mumbled.
That was the last thing she expected to hear him say.
"Then why did you tell me there were?" She was extremely confused.
He rubbed the back of his neck before letting out a sigh.
"It's just, when I saw him in your room-" he paused, seemingly thinking over his answer. "I didn’t like it."
She rested a hand on his bicep, trying to get him to look at her and she felt him tense under her touch.
"I meant what I said, there is nothing going on between me and Hawks." She squeezed his arm reassuringly.
Finally meeting her gaze, he must've seen that she was being honest because he nodded.
"Still, I'm sorry." He muttered.
Realizing she was still touching him, she drew back her arm and she could have sworn she saw his lips turn down slightly. But then again Aizawa was usually frowning anyway so it must've been her imagination.

A/N: I have to say I was laughing so hard when I was writing the bedroom scene🤣🤣
Shallow customization gives you a costume. Deep customization gives you a character. SweetDream is firmly in the second camp, you shape appearance, personality, quirks, voice, and backstory until she's genuinely distinct.
That depth is itself a mark of quality, because it carries through into how she talks and behaves. The companion you carefully built is the companion you actually get. On sweetdream.ai, detailed creation pays off in every conversation.

_______________________________________________
Sure enough, Power Loader texted her on Friday afternoon that the sword was ready.
She was beginning to come to terms with the fact that the man who almost killed All Might might actually be alive. That meant that she had to perfect all of her skills and fast if she wanted to have any chance of helping to defeat him. Especially considering that All Might wasn't as strong as he used to.
She slid open the door and walked into the Development Studio for the third time that week.
"I'm starting to feel like I spent more time here than in my own bedroom." She joked as she walked to where Power Loader was fiddling with a metal glove.
She saw that the pink haired girl was there as well. She was on the corner of the room bent over her project and she seemed to be so focused that she didn't even glance up when she spoke.
"Hello" He abandoned the glove and moved to a table where a duffel bag was laid on.
She approached the table searching for an object remotely similar to a sword but she found nothing.
"Is the sword not here?" She asked as she began looking around the other tables.
"It's here." He answered matter of factly.
He raised his arm, his hand clenched into a fist before opening his palm.
She watched as a chain dropped from his hand and at the very end of it there was a charm shaped like a sword that was connected with the chain by the end of its handle.
She stared at it, her mind not comprehending what she was seeing.
Oh. My. God.
She took it from him once he offered it to her and held up the charm to her face using her forefinger and thumb.
He stayed silent watching her reaction.
"Thank you." She finally said with a pained smile.
"Aren't you going to put it on." He asked patiently.
"Mhmh, of course." She undid the clasp before putting the chain around her neck.
It was a fairly short chain and the sword reached right below the collar of her T-shirt so it could be hidden if she wanted. She looked down at where the charm was resting on top of her shirt and she had to admit that it was really pretty if nothing else.
It was very intricately carved and the tiny handle seemed to be covered in cobalt blue leather.
"So what do you think?"
"No it's great, really. Thank you!" Glancing up at him, she was trying her best not to burst out laughing.
He just stared at her expectantly.
"Oh right I forgot!" He exclaimed after a few seconds of awkward silence. "You need to activate your quirk in order to use it."
"I'm sorry what?" Her eyebrows jumped up.
"You need to activate your Quirk while touching it to make it expand. I heard that you control the four elements so I programmed it to only react to the use of all four of them simultaneously. You don't need the actual elements, just their energy." He explained.
She blinked at him before moving her gaze to the sword charm. She reached up with her hand to touch the charm hesitantly before throwing him a questioning look to which his only response was an encouraging nod. She closed her eyes and reached deep inside to where her quirk was rooted and called on all four of her elements simultaneously.
Just before they began manifesting, she felt the chain snap and her eyes snapped open.
"I'm so sorry, I broke it!" She showed him the chain.
She began panicking, but then the charm began to warm up.
She stood frozen as the chain retracted into the tiny sword. Then the charm began to expand in her hand.
The hilt lengthened first, extending until it fit naturally into a human grip. Then the guard unfolded from either side with a sharp clack. Finally, the blade itself stretched outward.
A couple of seconds later she had a full sized replica of the original design in her hand that looked sharp enough to cut through anything.
She looked up at Power Loader with eyes wide as saucers, who somehow looked self-satisfied despite the helmet.
"What..." she breathed. "...is this?"
He tilted his head.
"Your sword." He said it like it was the most normal thing in the world.
She let out an incredulous laugh and tightened her grip on the handle, turning the sword slowly to inspect both sides of the blade.
The thing she noticed immediately was that it was incredibly light despite its size. The blade was an obsidian black color and the handle was wrapped in dark blue leather.
"This is... incredible." She whispered. "How did you do it?"
"Do not worry about that, I had a lot of fun making it. Now, to return it to its other form you have to do the exact same thing."
She followed his instructions and watched as the sword shrank right in front of her eyes.
She shook her head in disbelief, feeling speechless.
"Now, your suit is inside the bag. I'd like for you to try it on today so I can make any adjustments that might be needed over the weekend. Also, Mei Hatsume over there helped with it." He pointed at the pink haired girl in the corner.
She had honestly forgotten there was a third person in the room with them. She turned towards the girl who was sitting on one of the empty tables near them watching. Judging by her relaxed posture, she assumed that she had been watching for quite some time.
Blue raised a hand in greeting and the girl returned it.
After putting the necklace back around her neck and thanking both of them profusely she practically skipped her way back to her room.
She dropped the duffle bag on her bed before unzipping it, removing the items from inside and spreading them on her bed.
The suit was apparently comprised of multiple parts which made it very customizable. The only thing she needed to add was a black long-sleeved shirt or t-shirt depending on the weather.
Given that it was late spring and temperature was pretty warm, she grabbed a black t-shirt from her wardrobe and began getting dressed.
A few minutes later she was looking at her reflection in full gear and had to admit she looked badass.
She wore black cargo pants that were comfortable enough to move in but not too loose as to get caught on things. Over her t-shirt there was a light black vest with multiple pockets and it was insulated with a shock absorbing alloy. Both the cargo pants and the vest had cobalt blue stitching. She also wore black elbow and knee pads as well as black leather fingerless gloves.
She tied her hair in a high ponytail before pulling the final piece of the suit over her head.It was a black half face that covered her nose and concealed her identity. Besides the blue stitching that matched the rest of the suit, it also had a design right over her mouth that was shaped like a mouth filled with sharp teeth stretched into an unsettling smile.
She let the necklace rest over her suit and noticed the handle of the sword was the exact same shade of blue as the details of the suit.
She squealed excitedly before grabbing her phone, taking a mirror selfie and sending it to Hawks.
Blue: Thoughts?
His response was almost instantaneous yet again.
Hawks: You look like you're planning a burglary.
Hawks: A+
She chuckled before shooting a text to Toshinori.
Blue: Come to my room NOW!
She threw the phone onto her bed before continuing to admire herself in the mirror and a few minutes later Toshinori crashed through her door with such force that it slammed into the wall.
He looked around wildly and when he took notice of her his eyes widened for a split second, before he changed into his All Might form.
"Who are you?" He bellowed as he raised a fist.
"Wow, hey it's me." She lowered the mask revealing the bottom half of her face.
He stopped his advances and took a step back instead.
"What the hell are you wearing?" He asked incredulously as he looked her up and down.
"It's my hero suit. Power Loader made it for me." She answered excitedly as she twirled around.
He changed forms with an exhale before shutting her door quietly and taking his usual seat in her desk chair.
"You cannot send me a text like that. I thought it was an emergency!"
"Well it was. I wanted to show you my new suit!" She went back to staring herself in the mirror. "And the best thing is that it's completely fireproof according to him."
There was a knock on the door.
She opened it to reveal a very worried looking Aizawa.
"Are you okay? I heard-" He stopped speaking as he glanced down and noticed what she was wearing.
She opened her door wider so that Toshinori was visible to him.
"I'm so sorry, I texted him to come see my new suit and he barged in like the building was on fire." She gestured him inside.
He stood in the doorway for a few moments before finally entering her room. He nodded to Toshinori in greeting before returning his attention to her.
"So you’re okay?" He took a deep breath, his whole body relaxing.
"Of course! Do you like it?" She could see him trying to steal glances of her.
His eyes roamed over her, seeming to take every single detail, then he cleared his throat.
"It suits you very much." He mumbled averting his gaze.
Her phone pinged with a notification and she grabbed it from the bed, checked it and let out a gasp.
"One second." She told the men who were clearly interested in learning what had caused her to react like that.
She pressed the call button and put the phone to her ear. It only rang twice before the call picked up.
"If you come here at 7 in the morning you'll find me still in bed." She growled into the microphone.
Aizawa’s brows furrowed at her words but he stayed quiet.
"Don't be so lazy." Hawks' teasing voice came from the speaker.
"Come at least after 9."
"Fiiiine! Get your beauty sleep. You need it!" He drawled.
Her mouth dropped open.
"You little-"
He hung up.
She checked the screen before sending him a text and dropping her phone on the bed again.
Blue: 🖕🏻😑
"Idiot." She muttered as she moved to her bed where the duffle bag was still situated and began unzipping her vest before folding it, putting it inside and then moving to her t-shirt.
"HELLO!" Toshinori said loudly from behind her.
She jumped and turned around, having completely forgotten they were there. Stupid Hawks. Toshinori's eyes darted from her to Aizawa, who had a faint flush across his face and was staring determinedly at the ceiling.
"Sorry, I forgot you guys were there." She chuckled.
She removed her elbow and knee pads before putting them inside the bag and moving it to the floor.
"Since you're okay I need to go, I have to... grade homework." He mumbled and was out of the room before she could stop him.
She stared after him before turning to Toshinori.
"Do you think he's mad because I forgot he was here?" She winced slightly.
"I don't think mad is what he was feeling just now. " He scoffed.
She shot him a questioning look.
He sighed before getting up from the chair and moving to wrap an arm around her shoulders but startled when he felt the air barrier wrapped around her.
"What is this?" He put a bit more pressure but the barrier kept him from touching her.
"Oh sorry," she dissolved the barrier and his hand made contact with her skin "I remember you telling me that All for One needs to touch someone to steal their Quirks so I'm trying to strengthen my air shield."
He leaned back to get a better look at her face.
"Are you planning on getting near him?" He asked.
"Well I'm not letting you fight him alone, that's for sure."
He looked like he was about to argue with her but shook his head and chose not to.
"We'll talk about that another time" He gave her a pointed look. "What I meant was, have you considered that Aizawa might like you?"
"I sure hope he does." She huffed a laugh.
"No no, i mean romantically like." He raised both eyebrows trying to get her to understand.
She stared at him, rooted to the spot. She was sure she had misheard him. She tried to think back to their interactions since she had arrived to the school and sure, he was kind to her and willingly spent time with and made her tea when she hurt herself and he remembered her coffee order and OH MY GOD!
She covered her mouth with a hand, muffling her gasp as her eyes widened even further, if that was possible.
"Holy shit."

Unknown: Hello Blue. Can you come by the Development Studio some time today?
Unknown: It's Power Loader by the way.
She frowned as she read the message. Was something wrong with the sword? She wasn't expecting to hear from him until the end of the week so the fact that he had reached out so soon couldn't be a good sign.
Also... how did he manage to get her phone number?
Blue: I can come by this afternoon.
Power Loader: Great!
It was the day of All Might’s Rescue Training class and glancing at the time at the top of her screen, she realized she had less than half an hour to get ready and find her way to the Observation Room to watch the race.
Shit
She threw her phone on the nightstand, rushing to her wardrobe to pick an outfit. She decided to go with a dark brown halter top and her favorite pair of black, distressed jeans.
After tying her shoes and making sure she had her keys in her pocket, she called Toshinori so he could give her instructions on how to get there.
As it turned out he was already at Ground Gamma and they were about to begin.
After practically sprinting across the campus, she finally reached her destination with only minutes to spare.
Inside, there were multiple screens all over the wall, each displaying a different camera angle. Pushed against the wall right in front of them, there was a long desk with many different control panels.
Principal Nezu was already seated in a chair behind that desk so that he was within reach of the controls and Aizawa was sitting a few rows back.
The sound of the door opening caused him to look back and their eyes met. She waved at him before making her way over.
"Has it started yet?" She asked as she took the seat next to him.
"No, you made it in time."
Letting out a sigh of relief, she relaxed against the chair.
"I overslept and then got a text from Power Loader so I completely lost track of time."
"Power Loader? What did he want?" He squinted slightly in confusion.
"I have no idea. He just asked me to go to the Studio later today." She shrugged.
He opened his mouth to say something but a feminine voice came from behind them, interrupting him.
"Are you Blue?"
She turned on her chair and came face to face with a tiny old woman who was sitting on the row behind them. She had very kind eyes behind her huge glasses.
She hadn't been in the room when Blue arrived, so she must have been walking very quietly given that neither she nor Aizawa heard her approaching.
She shot Aizawa a panicked looked and he instantly understood the meaning behind it.
"She is." He replied to the old lady.
"She's very pretty."
Whatever she told him made his ears turn slightly pink.
"What did she say?" Blue asked, looking between them.
"Nothing!" He barked, startling her slightly.
"She just wanted to know who you were. This is Recovery Girl." He was avoiding her gaze, his ears still pink.
"Oh, tell her it's nice to meet her." She nodded at the woman, the smile still on her face.
Aizawa translated what she said.
"You should ask her out."
Aizawa’s eyes widened, his whole face turning red. Recovery Girl had a satisfied look on her face.
"Oh my god, are you ok?" Blue touched his forearm that was resting on the arm rest which didn't seem to help the situation at all. His color changing so drastically was very concerning.
"The race has begun." Nezu called out from the front of the room before Aizawa could respond.
All three of them turned their attention to the screen, but she kept throwing concerned glances at him to check up on him. His color didn't seem to be returning to normal any time soon.
On the screen, the students were all rushing to locate All Might. Sero seemed to be in the lead, swinging from pipe to pipe with his tape. The rest of the students seemed to be struggling slightly to keep up but then a few moments later Izuku appeared on the screen and managed to take the lead.
"What the hell?" Blue asked as she leaned forward on her chair, watching with rapt attention.
"He seems to have learned a few things during his internship." Aizawa commented, watching the screen just as intrigued.
That was an understatement. Izuku began jumping from pipe to pipe, covering great distance with each leap. The way he was moving kind of reminded her of the video she had watched of Bakugo when she first arrived to the U.A. and she was trying to learn as much as she could of each student in order to figure out how she could use her knowledge to help them.
Just as he was about to win, Izuku stepped on a loose pipe and crashed to the ground.
Recovery Girl muttered something before making her way out of the room, shaking her head. Blue watched her leave.
When she returned her attention to the screen, the race was over and Sero was celebrating so she assumed that he was the winner after all.
They continued watching the rest of the groups of students compete and soon the class was over.
"They need to be able to run faster." She said as Nezu began shutting down the screens.
"Huh?" Aizawa turned to her.
"They need to be faster. Some of them are okay but there are others that need to be able to run away faster."
"Heroes don't usually flee." Nezu noted.
"Sure, but there will definitely be a time they'll need to run away from someone."
"Are you speaking from personal experience?" Nezu asked, tilting his head slightly.
"No, but I've seen what happens to people that aren't fast enough." She answered, gaze locked on the floor and missing the concern in Aizawa’s eyes.
__________
She slid open the door just as an explosion went off inside the room causing her to wrap an air shield around herself instinctively.
She heard a girl call out something but she was unable to locate her because the room was filled with gray smoke.
Rushing to the opposite wall of the hallway which had a row of windows, she slid one open, before taking control of the smoke and funneling it outside.
She returned to the room just as Power Loader began yelling at a pink haired girl. The exasperation in his voice made her think that it wasn't the first time something like this had happened.
"Hello?" She called out from her position by the door.
Both of them turned to look at her and she gave them an awkward wave. Power Loader returned his attention to the girl and said something to her which caused her to groan dramatically before stomping out of the room, giving Blue an assessing look as she passed by her.
"Blue, thank you for coming." He motioned her to follow him to a desk.
"Is something wrong with the sword?" She picked at her cuticles as she approached the desk and stood on the other side of it.
"Oh no, it should be finished in a day or two." He answered as he began messing with the screen on the desk surface.
"Really? That's amazing!" Her worry transformed into excitement in an instant.
"Yes, yes. I wanted to talk to you about your hero costume." He stopped typing and looked up at her.
She scrunched her brows at his words.
"I don't have a costume." She admitted hesitantly.
"Exactly." He tapped on an icon which opened up an app that seemed to be used for costume design.
A 3D human model appeared on the screen, with small plus signs beside each body part that she assumed added the different parts of the costume.
He gestured her to move next to him so she could face the screen properly.
"You need one if you're going to fight." He met her gaze and she noticed it was the first time she was able to see his eyes. They were a dull blue.
"Oh I-, you don't have to do that. The sword is more than enough, I don’t want to take more of your time."
"Nonsense, I don't mind." He waved her off. "Actually, I enjoy a challenge so be as picky as you want."
She had no idea how to respond so instead she turned to the screen.
"So I can just tell you what I want and you can make it?"
"Exactly. Usually the students fill in a questionnaire but we can do it faster this way."
She thought about it for a while. Frankly, she never had a costume or the desire for one but the rules were different here and she had to do her best to fit in.
"Okay then." She said once an idea began forming in her mind. "I don't want anything too flashy or tight."
"So not a sparkling leotard. Noted." He began typing on the notes section of the program.
"Definitely not!" She laughed. "I want to be able to move around while wearing it and I could use some extra padding on the knees and elbows, because I can be quite clumsy when I land sometimes. Also it can't be made out of flammable materials because that won't end well for anyone. That’s pretty much it, I guess."
"Colors?" He asked, never once removing his gaze from the screen.
She bit her thumbnail as she considered the question.
"I don't really mind, to be honest. As long as they're not really bright. Maybe black with blue accents." She shrugged.
He continued typing for a few more seconds before tapping a button at the top of the screen that triggered a loading icon that vanished a moment later.
"That wasn't a challenge at all but it will do. I should be able to finish it fast enough for you to get it along with your sword."
After thanking him, she made her way out of the room and pulled her phone out of her pocket to see if she had any new messages. She had a couple but she decided to text Toshinori first instead as she began walking towards her room.
Blue: How is Izuku? That was quite a landing.🥲
Then she opened Hawks' message.
Hawks: I should be able to be there some time on Saturday.
Blue: Great. Power Loader said it will probably be ready before then.
She went to close the chat but his response came almost immediately.
Hawks: That's good.
Blue: I thought you were busy this week. Why are you on your phone?
Hawks: I'm not busy at this exact moment.
Blue: What exactly is it that's keeping you busy?
Hawks: That is classified.
Blue:Booo👎🏻
Hawks: 🖕🏻
She gasped dramatically. Even though he hadn't been able to visit, they'd been texting quite frequently and they had gotten comfortable with each other surprisingly fast. Any shock of him being famous she might have originally had was gone and now she felt pretty comfortable calling him a friend. She was certain that she didn't know many things about his life but then again, he probably didn't know much about hers either.
Blue:🖕🏻😑
Closing Hawks' chat, she saw that Toshinori had replied to her text.
Nori💪🏻: He's okay. Recovery Girl made him as good as new.
So that was why she had left during the race.
Blue: That's good. Poor guy was so close to winning.
Nori💪🏻: Yes.
The writing bubble appeared and disappeared a couple of times.
Nori💪🏻: I told him how One for All was created.
Nori💪🏻: And about All for One.
She froze mid-step as she read the final text. Her heartbeat quickened and her palms began to sweat.
Nori💪🏻: I actually need to tell you something. When can you come by my room?
Blue: On my way.
She was outside of his door less than five minutes later, even though the Development Studio was in a whole other building.
Walking in without knocking, she found him sitting on his bed, clearly waiting for her.
"What is it?" She asked as she noted his slumped shoulders.
He patted the space next to him on the bed without saying anything and she moved to take a seat.
He let out a sigh before leaning back and turning so he was facing her more.
"Tsukauchi called me earlier." He began as she started picking on her cuticles. "He's alive."
Her heart stopped as her eyes widened.
"What do you mean he's alive? How can Tsukauchi know that?" She exclaimed.
He rubbed a hand over his face.
"Do you remember when Hawks said there was someone behind the League? Someone he had never met?"
A nod was her only response.
"Well, Tsukauchi called to tell me that the results of the Nomu's DNA test just came back and-"
"Where did he get Nomu DNA?" She interrupted him.
"From the one we captured during the USJ attack. He said that the Nomus are artificially created humans that have multiple quirks. No one else would be able to do that." He glanced down at her hands as he was talking before reaching inside his nightstand and retrieving a piece of tissue paper.
He took her hand in his, stopping her from fidgeting and that was when she saw the blood. She had picked on her cuticles so much they had begun bleeding.
"Shit!" She took the tissue paper and covered the small wound, putting pressure on it to make the bleeding stop.
"But I thought his wounds were fatal!" She argued back.
"I said they looked fatal. Plus I told you we never found the body." He said quietly.
He seemed to be a lot calmer than the situation warranted and it was starting to piss her off.
"Yes, because his minions probably took it. That doesn't mean he's alive!"
"It doesn't mean he's not, either."
Walking over to his trashcan next to the desk, she threw the bloody tissue paper once she was sure the bleeding had stopped.
She paced back and forth for a while before returning to her seat. He remained silent the whole time as he watched her, letting her come to terms with the revelation.
"Okay." She finally said.
"Okay?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. Everything is going to be fine."
He nodded in agreement but it was clear that neither of them truly believed that.

The guitar notes blasted from her headphones as she slowed down her pace. She generally enjoyed running, but doing so at the crack of dawn proved to be more difficult than she'd imagined, considering she'd barely managed to drag herself out of bed that morning.
As she passed by the main courtyard gate, she saw a familiar figure walking towards the school which made her stop and backtrack.
"And here I thought I was the only one crazy enough to wake up so early." She called out as she waited for Aizawa to reach her.
He was wearing a black t-shirt and black sweatpants with the scarf wrapped around his neck as usual and was carrying two cups of coffee in a cup holder with the logo from his favorite coffee shop.
"Here." He offered her one of the cups. "I saw you when I was leaving and thought I'd get one for you as well so you wouldn't have to make the trip."
He avoided looking anywhere below her neck. She glanced down at the workout set she'd bought the day before and wondered if maybe it was too revealing to wear on school grounds after all.
She took the coffee cup after thanking him profusely. The scarf shifted slightly as he raised his arm to offer her the cup and she caught a glimpse of something orange on the shirt he was wearing.
"You're wearing the t-shirt!" She exclaimed excitedly.
Surely enough, there was an orange cat peeking from beneath the scarf.
"I didn’t want it to go to waste." He grumbled, quickly adjusting his scarf so it was covering the design as the tips of his ears turned an adorable pink.
She was about to tease him some more about the shirt when a message notification sounded from her phone.
"Sorry, hold on a second." Looking at the screen, she let out a bark of laughter.
Hawks had sent her a picture of a crow holding a knife in its mouth.
Blue: Is that supposed to be you?🤣
The reply came immediately.
Hawks: It's your reminder to get the sword.
"Who is it?"
She glanced up to see Aizawa glaring at her phone like it had offended him personally.
"Oh, Hawks sent me a stupid picture." She held out the phone so he could see the picture clearly.
He looked at it but didn't seem to find it amusing. Like at all.
"Do you two text a lot?" He asked, frowning.
She pulled the phone back towards herself before double-tapping Hawks' text in acknowledgement and locking it again.
"Eh, here and there. He just wanted to remind me to ask the people over at the development studio if they can make me a sword." She explained before taking a sip of her coffee and almost moaning as the Divine liquid touched her tongue.
Aizawa's gaze flickered to her lips for half a second.
"A sword?" The frown was still plastered on his face.
"Oh, didn't you hear?" She started walking towards the dorms and he followed after her. "Hawks is teaching me how to fight with a sword. I thought Midnight had told you after she saw him leaving."
"No, she didn't say anything." He grumbled.
"Well, we've only trained together a couple of times, but he thinks a real sword will be much more useful than the ones I make out of dirt." She shrugged.
They reached the faculty hallway when he lightly touched her elbow with his fingers, causing her to stop walking.
"How about I go with you to the development studio?"
It sounded almost like the words hurt to get out.
"Oh, would you? That would be amazing! I haven't met anyone that works there yet, so it would be a huge help." She offered him a bright smile.
He was still touching her elbow but she chose to not say anything.
"Sure, it's not a problem." He finally realized he had his hand on her and retracted it immediately.
"Great! How about we go this afternoon?" She clapped her hands excitedly.
He nodded in agreement.
_________
They decided to meet outside the studio after the classes ended for the day.
He was already there, leaning against the wall opposite the door when she arrived.
"I'm so sorry, have you been waiting long?" She jogged the last few meters.
"No, I just got here." He replied before knocking on the huge metal door.
"Come in!" A male voice came from inside the room.
Aizawa slid the door open before moving to the side to let her enter first. She shot him a small smile before walking inside.
"Wow." She stopped in her tracks as she looked around the room in awe.
It was a huge room filled with all kinds of machines and tools she had never seen before. There were multiple desks strewn around the open space, some empty, some with unfinished projects on them and bolted to the walls were huge screens that showed different blueprints of what she assumed were costumes and gadgets.
She felt Aizawa's presence behind her and realized that she had stopped walking just as she had entered the room and there wasn't a way for him to enter unless she moved.
"Sorry." She mumbled as she walked further inside to give him space.
"Welcome." Came a voice from behind a huge computer screen on one of the desks.
They looked over to see something yellow peeking around it, before the rest of the body came into view.
He was a short, skinny man with hands disproportionately large for his body. On closer inspection she realized that the yellow thing on his head was some sort of excavator claw shaped helmet and she caught a glimpse of ginger hair underneath it.
"Hello, Maijima." Aizawa greeted the man before switching to English.
"This is Higari Maijima, also known as Power Loader. He is the teacher who manages the Support Course Development Studio." He informed her before turning to the shorter man.
"This is Blue. She's a visitor."
"Ah, the one All Might invited over. Nice to meet you."
"You too." She offered a polite smile.
"What can I do for you?" The man asked, returning to his computer.
She glanced at Aizawa who nodded.
"Um, I was wondering if you can make a sword?"
His fingers froze over the keyboard and his gaze returned to her.
"A sword?"
She nodded quickly.
He stayed quiet for a while and she was certain he'd refuse.
"Come over here." He waved her over as he moved to a different desk. He touched a button and the whole surface transformed into a touchscreen computer.
He clicked on an icon and some sort of a design program opened up on the screen.
They spent the next several minutes going back and forth as he took notes of what she wanted the sword to be like. Aizawa took a seat in an empty chair and waited patiently for them to finish.
After Power Loader was satisfied with the information he had received, he let her know that it would be ready by the end of the week.
She thanked him profusely before heading out of the studio with Aizawa in tow.
Taking her phone out of her pocket, she opened her chat with Hawks.
Blue:🗡👌🏻
Hawks: What is that supposed to mean?
Blue: It means that the sword will be ready by the end of the week.🥳
Hawks: Good.
"Hawks again?" Aizawa asked in a dry tone.
"Yep. Just wanted to let him know it was done so he would stop pestering me about it."
"Good." He muttered.
"Thank you so much for coming with me!"
"Stop thanking me. I really don't mind." He waved her off.
She looked at the time on her phone and realized that they had been in the design studio for way longer than she thought.
"I'm going to train for a while, would you like to join?"
He seemed to think about it but eventually shook his head.
"Actually I have some homework I need to grade." He replied, checking the time.
She nodded and after thanking him yet again for accompanying her, they went their separate ways.
________
She jogged to the sports field after a quick stop at her room to change clothes, berating herself for not already being dressed in workout clothes when she went to the Development Studio, but she honestly thought that she'd been done way faster than she ended up being.
To her relief Todoroki was still there.
She slowed to a walk before he became aware of her presence, trying to act nonchalant like she hadn’t sprinted all the way there.
Ever since that first day he watched her train, he had been there almost every single day. The week of the Hero Internships being the only exception.
They had developed an unspoken routine. She would train, he would watch, they would make small talk and then continue with their day as if nothing happened.
That was why she was so worried he would have left by the time she got there.
"You're late." He said dryly as she dropped her backpack next to where he was sitting.
"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know you were waiting for me." She replied teasingly before making her way to the center of the field like always.
"I wasn't." He deadpaned.
"Then I wasn't late." She called back.
She was planning on training her air jumps that day but as she planted her feet, ready to begin, she glanced back at Todoroki and stopped.
She had spent all those weeks waiting for him to change his mind and join her, but she had begun to realize that it might never happen.
She needed to change tactics.
"Hey, get over here for a second!" She called out.
He stayed sitting.
She huffed before jogging over to him instead.
"Why are you even here?" She asked, her tone a bit more biting than she intended.
He just stared at her silently.
"The weather is nice." He finally said.
She didn't know if she wanted to laugh or kick his shoes in annoyance. She ended up choosing the third option.
"I meant in this school." She rolled her eyes.
"Because I want to be a hero." He said almost absentmindedly as he stared at the horizon.
"Well that's not going to happen." She scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
His eyes cut to her instantly
"What?"
"You heard me." She shrugged. Now it was her watching the horizon.
"Yes it will." He said lowly.
She wanted to bang her head against the wall for not seeing it sooner. Despite his serious demeanor, Shoto Todoroki was a fifteen-year-old boy.
"I don't think you'll even pass the Provisional License Exam." She stated before turning on her heels and returning to the center of the field.
5...4...3...2...1
"Why not?" Came his voice from right behind her.
She turned to face him, jumping back slightly as if he had startled her.
His eyes were throwing daggers at her, his posture tense and his fists clenched.
"I'm sorry?"
"Why wouldn't I pass?"
"I mean," she trailed off as if she was hesitant to answer. "There are powerful students who fail all the time. How are you expecting to pass with only half your power?"
"My ice is really strong." He growled.
His jaw was clutched so tight she was worried he would crack a tooth.
"I'm not saying it's not strong. But it is only half your power." She winced dramatically.
He stood his ground for a few seconds but then he seemed to deflate as he averted his eyes.
"Look, I know how you feel about your father. At least to some extent." She said softly. Her palm was itching to touch his shoulder to try to comfort him, but she knew it wouldn't be welcomed.
"And trust me, having met the guy for even a few minutes I understand why you feel like that. Hell, you have no idea how much willpower I needed to not throw a shoe at his head."
That won her a muffled laugh before he managed to stop it.
"I'm not asking you to be like your father." She lowered her head slightly trying to catch his eyes. "I'm asking you to be better."
He glanced at her but then averted his gaze again. He seemed to think about it for a long time and she stayed quiet waiting him out, until finally he let out a sigh.
"I don't have good control over the flames." He mumbled.
She let out a laugh.
"I didn’t even know I had flames until a few years ago."
His head snapped up, both eyebrows raising in surprise.
"Really?" He asked, his voice filled with doubt.
"Oh yes! I actually figured it out by accident, but now I like to think I'm pretty good." She shot him a cocky smile as she lit flames on her fingertips.
He watched the flames dancing in front of him.
"Okay." He whispered.
"Okay? Okay!" She exclaimed, throwing her fists in the air, the flames disappearing.
"Up top!" She raised her palm up for a high five.
His eyes moved between her and her open palm with a blank look.
"Oh my god." She muttered before grabbing his wrist and touching her palm to his. "Up top."
"Okay." He trailed off as he held his hand there, completely still.
She couldn't help it, she burst out laughing. He still had that blank look on his face which made her laugh even harder.
"Okay, okay." She wiped at the corners of her eyes as she got herself under control. "Now show me what you can do."
He was strong. Like, really strong.
Even with very little training or control, his fire was stronger than hers when she had first discovered it.
They sat down on the grass, trying to catch their breath some time later, both of them covered in sweat.
"I'm tired." She complained.
"Me too."
"And hungry."
"Me too."
She laughed and he smiled slightly.
Maybe this whole teaching thing was fun after all.

She ended up waking up a couple of hours before her alarm went off and then had to wait until the time to leave came.
Not because she was going shopping, she generally didn't enjoy visiting stires but she noticed that most of her excitement stemmed from the fact that Midnight and Mic were coming with her.
The truth was, that even if she had been at the U.A. for a few weeks by that point, she hadn’t really interacted with either of them beyond occasionally sitting at the same table. She wanted to make sure to change that.
She got dressed in black, distressed jeans and a burgundy t-shirt before grabbing her favorite black, leather jacket and walking out the door.
Her attention was solely on her phone as she exited her room. She was reading Toshinori’s text, that said he couldn't join them because he had plans to spend the day with Midoriya and her lack of awareness caused her to walk straight into a wall.
The collision made her completely lose her balance and stumble back with a yelp, but srong arms wrapped around her waist to stop her from falling over.
Not a wall then.
She looked up, an apology already forming in her mind and came face to face with Aizawa.
"I'm sorry." He murmured.
"No, it's my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going." His hands felt hot where they were wrapped around her waist.
She wasn't actively falling anymore but his arms stayed there. He must've realized it at the same time she did because he released her immediately and took multiple steps back.
He was wearing the same clothes he always seemed to be wearing. A black long-sleeved shirt with black cargo pants and his scarf wrapped around his neck.
"GOOD MORNING YOU TWO!"
Small miracles and all that.
They turned to see Midnight and Present Mic approaching them wearing casual clothes as well. Mic had even tied his hair in a low ponytail.
"Good morning " She replied before turning to Aizawa. "Are you joining us?"
He sighed.
"He is. Yamada convinced him." Midnight replied instead.
"He needs to go out more!" Mic added in a more tolerable volume, throwing an arm over Aizawa’s shoulders.
The man looked miserable.
"That's great news!" Blue offered a big smile which Aizawa actually returned.
They walked together to Midnight’s car and she drove them to a shopping center outside of the city. Blue ended up sitting in the passenger sea, even though she insisted on someone else sitting there and Aizawa sat behind her with Mic behind Midnight.
It took them over half an hour to get there, because it was located on the other side of the city but Midnight swore it had the best stores.
She wasn't wrong. When they finally arrived at the shopping center she was shocked by the sheer size of it.
She couldn't even begin to guess how many stores where housed on the property and they seemed to sell everything from clothes to electronics to furniture. The place was also packed with people to the point of becoming overwhelming.
"Are you ok?" A low voice came from behind her.
She turned to see Aizawa watching her with a slightly concerned look in his eyes.
"I'm fine, just wasn't expecting all this." She gave him a reassuring smile.
He didn't seem completely convinced but he let it go.
"So what exactly are you looking for?" Midnight asked.
"Okay, I need a couple of workout outfits, new headphones because mine broke and then maybe we can go to the bookstore." She counted the items on her fingers. "What about you Mic?"
"I want to check out some new outfits ." He replied so loudly, it made some people around them turn towards the noise.
"Right, how about we finish with Yamada first and then we can go get the things you need?" Midnight suggested.
Blue nodded in agreement. She didn't mind waiting at all, she wanted to walk around the shopping center and see the different stores after all.
They visited almost 10 different stores before he decided he'd had enough and by the time they exited the last one he was carrying multiple bags in both hands.
Even Aizawa ended up buying something. It was a black t-shirt with a single chest pocket on it. What made it stand out from the other ones in the store was the design of the little orange cat that emerged from said pocket. It was the cutest thing Blue had ever seen and she pestered him until he gave in and bought it. She exited the store with a self-satisfied smile and a little extra pep in her step.
Once Mic was done shopping, they found themselves outside of a store that sold phones and different accessories.
"You go in, I'm tired." He exclaimed dramatically as he collapsed on the bench in the middle of the corridor.
"Yes, you two go in. We'll wait for you here." Midnight sat down next to him.
Blue nodded before walking inside the store with Aizawa following after her.
She headed straight to the section where multiple headphones on stands were available for customers to try on.
After trying on most of them, she decided to go with a pair of white, over-the-ear, Bluetooth headphones. They seemed to be stable enough on her head and that was really important for her, because one of the main reasons she needed them was because she was planning on picking up running again.
Midnight and Mic were in the middle of a seemingly very intense conversation, but stopped immediately when they noticed their approach.
Next, they entered a store that seemed to carry all the popular sports brands.
"What are you looking for exactly?" Midnight was clearly way more interested in this store than the previous one.
Blue looked around at all the different options.
"Maybe a couple of sports bras and t-shirts. And some shorts as well now that summer is approaching." Blue replied.
Aizawa and Mic had found a couple of chairs and had decided to wait for the women there.
After a few minutes of browsing the different clothing racks, she made her way to the fitting rooms with a few sets in hand.
The first set was a dark blue sports bra and matching shorts. She really liked the color but was slightly worried that it was too revealing to wear on school property. Dragging open the curtain, she looked around searching for Midnight. When she caught her attention she gestured her over.
"What do you think? Is it too much?" The moment the words were out of her mouth, she remembered who she was talking to. "Actually, can you get Aizawa and Mic? I want their opinion as well."
Midnight nodded before walking away.
Blue went back to checking the outfit on the mirror but looked back around when she heard footsteps approaching.
She turned to the three of them with a questioning look.
Midnight and Mic insisted it was completely okay to wear it at the school but Aizawa stayed silent.
He was staring down at her outfit with his mouth almost hanging open.
"Is it too much?" She asked, picking at her cuticles.
"No!" He blurted out. "I mean, no. I mean it's fine. It's a nice outfit." He stammered as a flush began creeping up his neck and spreading until it was covering his whole face. "Seems comfortable." He mumbled looking anywhere but at her.
Midnight had a wide smile on her face and a mischievous look in her eyes while Mic had a hand over his mouth as he struggled to control his laughter.
Blue just stood there, trying to recover from his outburst.
"Um..., great?" She asked hesitantly before closing the curtain and changing into her next outfit.
The second time she opened the curtain to ask for their opinion Aizawa was gone and the other two seemed extremely amused.
She ended up buying the dark blue set as well as two pairs of black running shorts and two t-shirts, one black one burgundy.
They found Aizawa sitting on one of the benches outside the store and he jumped to his feet when he saw them
"I'm starting to get hungry. Do you want to get something to eat first and then go to the bookstore before we leave?" Midnight asked looking at her watch, to which the others agreed to.
She led the way to the food court, clearly being familiar with the place and the moment the automatic sliding doors opened that separated it from the rest of the shopping center, Blue was assaulted with a mixture of delicious scents.
Her stomach growled in response. She was so distracted with all the different stores, she didn't even realize how hungry she had actually gotten.
There were so many restaurants that sold a variety of different foods, from Ramen to Sushi to Burgers. There were even a few popular chain restaurants. In the middle of the huge open space there where multiple tables and chairs filling the space.
"What do you guys want to eat?" Blue asked as they sat down at an empty table.
She looked around at the different stores trying to decide but there were too many options.
"How about Subway?" Mic suggested.
Midnight agreed and Aizawa just shrugged. They gave their orders to Blue and Aizawa and they went over to the till.
Blue was having a bit of trouble choosing what she wanted and she ended up just pointing at a picture of a sandwich that looked good on the overhead menu.
They stood a few steps back, waiting for their orders and when they were ready, they each grabbed a tray and returned to the table.
They ate mostly in silence, all of them being really hungry after all the walking around and after cleaning up their trays they began walking to the bookstore.
Midnight informed her that it had opened very recently and that it sold books in many different languages, given the rising number of tourists that visited Japan the last few years.
When they entered, she headed straight for the romance section.
"So you're a romantic, huh?" Midnight teased as she followed after her.
"Oh, 100%." She replied cheerfully, as she browsed through the different titles.
She ended up buying 3 paperbacks and at some point Mic had also started reading the synopsis on the back of the books she returned to the shelves.
The drive back to the U.A. was relatively fast and when she checked the time on her phone, she was shocked to find that it was almost 6 in the afternoon.
She opened her messages and texted Toshinori as they walked back toward the dorms, shopping bags in hand.
Blue: Where are you?
Nori💪🏻: In my room, why?
Blue: I'm coming over, I have news.
Arriving at the faculty corridor, she stopped in front of his room.
"Did you switch rooms?" Midnight stopped a few steps ahead
"Oh no, I just need to speak with Toshinori."
Mic and Midnight accepted her answer easily and headed to their rooms but Aizawa lingered back. He opened his mouth to say something but changed his mind the last second and went to his room with a small wave.
She knocked on the door and turned the doorknob after he called for her to enter.
He was busy on his computer and greeted her without breaking his gaze from the screen.
"The students think we're dating." She said instead of a greeting as she dropped her bags next to the door and went to sit on his bed.
In hindsight, she could have approached the topic less directly. Maybe then his keyboard wouldn't be covered in blood.
She jumped to her feet, rushing to his side as blood began spouting from his mouth.
"What the hell! Are you ok?" She thumped him on the back to help him stop choking.
"I'm okay, I'm okay." He waved her off, reaching inside one of the desk drawers and taking out a couple of tissues and starting to clean up his keyboard and computer screen.
"What do you mean you're okay? You're coughing up blood!" She exclaimed, shocked at his calm reaction.
"It happens sometimes, ever since I got injured." He explained casually, as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "What do you mean they think we're dating?"
She just stared at him, mouth hanging open. She couldn't understand how he was more concerned about a stupid rumor than the projectile blood.
He turned his chair so he was facing her after he made sure he had wiped away all the blood and stared at her expectantly.
"Um..., the girls from class 1-A asked me if we were dating yesterday morning, but I didn't get a chance to tell you." She returned to his bed but continued watching him just in case he keeled over.
"But why would they think that?" His eyebrows furrowed.
"How should I know?" She shrugged, finally relaxing back on the bed.
"That is very concerning."
"It's stupid is what it is." She groaned, getting comfortable.
"Thanks." His voice was flat with a tinge of sarcasm.
"Oh no, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings." She moved behind his chair before wrapping her arms around his neck and resting her cheek on top of his head, his wild hair tickling her nose.
"There, there." She began petting his hair like a dog, clearly mocking him.
He grabbed her wrist with an annoyed huff and maneuvered her in front of him before pushing her towards the bed.
She landed with a laugh before lying sideways and resting her head on her hand.
"Do you want to see what I got?" She asked a beat later.
"Sure." He sighed, clearly having accepted his fate.
She rushed to grab her shopping bags, an excited smile plastered on her face.

Blue: Hi Hawks!
She cringed the moment she hit sent.
Even after spending the last several minutes trying to think of the perfect opening text, that was all she could come up with .
She threw the phone onto the couch beside her and leaned back, resting her head on top of the back rest.
The notification sound that came from her phone almost immediately after, made her jump. She grabbed it and sat up straight. She wasn't expecting to get an answer so soon, if ever.
Hawks: Who is this?
Of course! She spent all this time stressing over her opening text, she hadn't even bothered adding her name. She didn't even know why she was so nervous. She didn't usually get star-struck when meeting heroes, plus, he was the one who gave her his phone number.
Blue: Oh right! It's Blue.
Blue: We met yesterday.
Blue: You said my sword fighting technique was bad.
Hawks: I'm pretty sure I said it was abysmal.
That made her let out a surprised laugh but quieted immediately and looked around to make sure no one had heard it.
It was Saturday morning and she was sitting in the students' dorm common area and she tried to be quiet so she wouldn't draw attention. She wasn't sure if she was even allowed to sit here but it was empty and the couch looked comfortable so sue her.
Blue: Right of course. My apologies.
Hawks: I'm glad you texted.
Blue: Well, I wasn't about to pass up free lessons.
Hawks: Who said they'd be free?
That made her frown.
Hawks: I'm expecting dinner as payment.
Blue: Deal!
Hawks: Good. Are you free today?
Blue: Yes, it's Saturday, so no classes.
Hawks: I'll text you when I get there.
"Are you texting your boyfriend?"
The voice startled her so much, she barely managed to stop the scream that began forming in her throat. She let out a gasp instead as her head shot up.
She was so preoccupied with texting Hawks, she hadn’t even noticed the three girls that had approached her and were now sitting on the couch opposite hers.
"What?" She asked, resting a hand over her heart.
"You were smiling at your phone. Were you texting your boyfriend?" Uraraka asked excitedly.
"Um no, I don't have a boyfriend." Blue answered slowly, her eyes moving between the three girls.
"What about All Might?" Mina asked.
"What about him?"
"Is he not your boyfriend?" The third girl asked. She hadn’t officially met her but she had heard her Quirk was frog, whatever that meant.
"What?! No!" Her eyes had gone so wide, they looked like they were ready to pop out of her head.
"But we thought-" Uraraka began.
"We?! Who is we?!" Blue cut in.
Both girls turned to look at Mina who looked slightly abashed.
"Well I mean, you act so comfortable around him and me and Denki thought..." she trailed off.
"Oh my god! Absolutely not! We aren't dating and never have been." She groaned covering her eyes.
"That's disappointing." Mina frowned slightly before a look of absolute glee came over her face.
"Do you want us to help you find a boyfriend?"
All three girls turned to her excitedly.
"Absolutely not! I'm not looking for a boyfriend right now."
Their faces fell.
"Now I have to go, but you make sure to tell the others that this silly rumor isn't true, okay?" She rose from her seat.
All three nodded and she left the common room.
________
They met at the training area early afternoon. She had changed into tights and a sports bra and had thrown the All Might zip-up hoodie over it because it was a bit windy. Her hair was gathered neatly in a high ponytail to keep it away from her face.
"Seriously?" Hawks raised an eyebrow when he saw what she was wearing.
"It's awesome isn't it?" She dropped her backpack on the ground before twirling around proudly.
"It's definitely something." He chuckled as he removed his jacket revealing a black compression shirt that left very little to the imagination.
"My eyes are up here you know"
She dragged her gaze from his abs and met his teasing eyes.
"I was looking for any possible weak spots." She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to stop the blush that was trying to make an appearance.
"Oh really? Did you find any?" He raised a brow, the smirk still plastered to his face.
"Not yet." She shot back.
He chuckled again, before reaching behind and removing a feather from his wings. Just like the last time, he held the feather in his hands and she stood there watching as it morphed into a blade.
"I want you to try something different this time." He said as she knelt down to create her own blade from the earth.
"What's that?" She asked, getting back to her feet with the dirt sword in hand.
"You might be able to destroy a couple of earth pillars but the earth on its own isn't that strong of a material. I want you to use fire to burn the blade."
"Burn it?" She shot him a questioning look.
"Yes. If the fire is hot enough, it should fuse the particles of the dirt together making it so it doesn't crumble even after withstanding heavy blows."
She stared at him for a long time and he stared back.
She was already considering the fact that he was more than met the eye but after that statement, she was absolutely sure. He was way smarter than people gave him credit for.
"Okay, I'll try I guess." She said hesitantly.
She held the sword so it was resting on her open palms, one hand under the handle and the other under the blade. She closed her eyes in concentration. Taking a deep breath, she felt heat emitting from her hands. She opened her eyes and looked down. It only took a few seconds before the sword started to change. It began drying out and changing color.
Soon, the sword had taken a much darker color and most of the cracks that had previous been present on its surface seemed to have disappeared.
She grabbed the handle, brought it close to her face and began inspecting it. The blade had turned almost completely smooth and looked as if it was completely solid.
"This is so cool!" She whispered, awe evident in her voice as she looked up at him with wide eyes.
"It will do for now, but you should really consider getting an actual sword if you ever plan to use it in battle." He didn't seem to be particularly impressed as he lowered to the ground, stretching his leg muscles.
"How am I supposed to do that?"
"Doesn't the school have an equipment lab? You should ask them." He rose to his full height and took a fighting stance.
The thought of asking someone from the school to help her with her equipment hadn’t even crossed her mind. The truth was she didn't even have any special equipment she used or even an actual Hero Costume but having an actually sword would be very useful.
She made a mental note to ask Toshinori about it, before copying his stance and raising her blade.
________
She was sprawled on the ground a couple of hours later, panting as if she had just finished a race. Having discarded the hoodie at some point, she was left in just her sports bra but that hadn't helped to stop her from turning into a sweaty mess.
Her eyes were closed but she still noticed the shadow that fell over her, stoping the rays of the sun from reaching her.
"Tired already?" Hawks drawled.
Cracking her eyes open slightly, she glared at him. She had spent the last two hours getting her ass handed to her and he looked like he had been out for a stroll.
His breathing was even and he looked like he barely broke a sweat. Even his hair was barely ruffled, though it was unruly in the first place so she couldn't be sure about that.
She on the other hand, was covered in a sheen of sweat and had small cuts and nicks all over her arms from his blade. They weren't bleeding a lot so they didn't concern her too much, but they were definitely noticeable. Her clothes were covered in grass stains and dust from all the times she ended up on the ground and a few strands of hair had escaped her ponytail.
In other words she was a mess while he looked ready for a magazine cover photoshoot.
"Fuck off." She grumbled once her breath had slowed down slightly.
He chuckled before offering a hand. She grabbed it and used it to drag herself up.
"You honestly did better than I thought." He admitted as they made their way to where they had left their things at the edge of the field.
"Thanks." She replied, sarcasm clearly evident in her voice as she picked up her bag before reaching inside and grabbing her discarded hoodie.
"You still need a lot of work, but you have potential." He waited for her to put on the ridiculous hoodie. His own bag was already over one shoulder and he was holding his jacket in his hand.
They began walking towards the guests parking lot where Hawks had apparently parked his car.
She hadn't even known he owned a car. She had assumed he simply flew everywhere, but apparently flying long distances could get exhausting.
She could definitely understand that, her own quirk draining her stamina pretty fast as well. Plus a man with red wings flying around the country would draw attention. It wasn't something you saw every day and she assumed with him being a double agent discretion was always preferable.
The visitors parking lot was pretty empty and she followed him to a white car parked near the end of the lot.
She didn't know much about cars but she liked it. It was sporty but not too flashy
He opened the trunk and put his bag and jacket inside before turning back to face her.
"I'll be pretty busy during the week but I'll probably be able to come around again on the weekend."
"That's fine with me," she nodded, "and I wanted to thank you again for helping me with this."
"It's my pleasure to have such an able student." He winked, walking to the driver's seat and turning on the engine.
She backed away to the sidewalk as he reversed out of the parking spot.
"And I'm expecting you to have looked into getting a proper sword next time I see you." He called out of the window before driving off.
She gave him a thumbs up and waved after him as his car drove out to the street.
Once he was out of sight, she began heading back to her room. She needed to wash away the sweat and dirt off of her immediately.
The sound of a car door closing drew her attention. She turned to see Midnight stepping out of a black convertible parked in the faculty lot.
The school had two different parking lots with separate entrances for the teachers and visitors, but they were situated right next to each other with only a short fence separating them. Security was clearly not an issue.
She didn't hear or see a car entering the whole time she was there with Hawks so she assumed that Midnight had already been sitting in her car when they got there.
"Was that Hawks I just saw leaving?" She raised a perfectly shaped brow once they met outside the twin gates.
Blue realized that it was the first time seeing her outside of her hero costume. She was wearing a pair of skin tight jeans and a dark purple crop top. Her hair was pulled up in a high ponytail and she looked as beautiful as ever.
Standing next to her looking like she had spent the past few hours rolling around in the dirt, even though she technically did, made her feel really self conscious.
"Were you sitting in your car spying on us?" Blue teased with no malice in her voice.
Midnight let out a bark of laughter as they began walking to Height Alliance.
"Of course not. I was talking on the phone and just happened to catch a glimpse of you two. You seemed friendly. " She nudged her lightly with her elbow.
"He's been helping me with sword fighting. He's really skillful with his feather blades or whatever they are." Blue replied, adjusting her bag.
"Oh is he now?" The other woman asked, her eyes twinkling mischievously.
"I've been meaning to speak with you actually." She began, trying to ignore Midnight’s suggestive tone. "It's evident now that I will be staying for longer than I originally expected and I was thinking of going shopping for some extra stuff I need. Do you want to come with me? It's totally fine if you're busy, you're just the only woman I know here so I thought I'd ask.."
"Oh my god, of course I'd love to go with you! But do you mind if I invite Yamada as well? He's been begging me to go shopping with him and this is the perfect opportunity." Midnight replied excitedly.
"Sure, I don't mind. The more the merrier." She gave her a smile.
Soon they reached the faculty hallway and Blue stoped in front of her door.
"How does tomorrow morning sound?" She asked.
"I'll have to ask him but i don't think he'll have a problem with it. I will text you to let you know, here write your number." Midnight handed over her phone.
Blue typed in her number before handing it back and a second later her phone pinged with the new text.
"Great! I'll see you later then." She waved at Midnight before unlocking her door and walking inside.
________
Later that evening, she was lying in bed reading a book when a message appeared on her screen from an unknown number.
Unknown: WASSUP LADIESSSSS
She furrowed her brows as she read the message.
Blue: Hello?
Unknown: MIDNIGHT TOLD ME WE'RE GOING SHOPPING TOMORROW YO!
She couldn't help but laugh. She realized that she hadn’t gotten anyone's number as she changed the contact name.
Blue: Does this mean you're coming with us?
Mic: OF COURSE I'M COMING WITH YOU I'VE BEEN ASKING HER FOR DAYS!
Midnight: I'm driving.
Blue: That's fine with me
Mic: I CAN'T WAIT!
She shook her head in amusement as she opened a private chat with just Midnight.
Blue: Is he always so energetic?
Midnight: Yes.
She laughed to herself before closing both chats and going back to her book.

She groaned as the light coming through the window hit her eyes, waking her up. She threw an arm over her face in an attempt to ignore it and go back to sleep.
A second later she remembered her plan for the day, causing her eyes to snap open.
Jumping out of bed, she practically skipped to the bathroom to get ready before putting on a pair of jeans and a plain black T-shirt.
Summer was fast approaching and the weather was getting hotter day by day.
She grabbed the shopping bag from where she had tossed it into her closet the night before and brought it to her bed.
Reaching inside, she grabbed the zip-up hoodie she had bought from the store in Hosu City right before the Nomu attack.
She held it in front of her, admiring it and giggling in excitement, but a knock on her door caused her to turn towards it and hide it behind her back instinctively.
After quickly sending Toshinori away, saying she was running late and promising to meet him at the cafeteria for breakfast, she put the hoodie on and zipped it all the way up.
He didn't seem to be suspicious at all, which just made her feel even more giddy.
She spent a few minutes admiring herself in the mirror that was situated on the inside of the closet door with a wide smile stretched across her face.
The moment she saw the mannequin in the storefront wearing it, she knew she had to have it. The store apparently sold clothes and accessories inspired by Pro Hero costumes.
Walking into the cafeteria, all conversations stopped as the occupants turned on their seats to look at her.
She did her best to keep a neutral expression as she walked up to the table All Might was seated with Mic and Aizawa. Their eyes were glued to her as she approached.
All Might specifically couldn't hide a look of absolute horror in his eyes as she took the chair next to him.
"I am-" She paused, remembering the most crucial part of the hoodie.
Pulling the hood over her head, she grabbed the strings and tightened them.
She hadn’t noticed it at first when she saw the hoodie at the storefront but when she went inside, the store clerk informed her that the strings were connected to two protruding pieces of yellow fabric through some sort of mechanism and when they were tightened, they stood straight up in the air imitating All Might's signature bangs.
"I am here!" She exclaimed with a wide grin and watched as All Might’s face turned bright red as soon as the fake bangs appeared.
Mic completely lost it and even Aizawa cracked a smile.
"This is the surprise!" She informed All Might, as she moved her arms up and down, gesturing at the hoodie.
"Yes, I got that." He murmured through clenched teeth, his whole face beet red.
She couldn't hold it together any longer and burst out laughing. Soon, she was gasping for air and had to lean on him to keep upright. She put both hands on his shoulder before leaning forward and resting her forehead on them.
"Excuse me." A quiet voice came from behind her.
Turning her head around with tears in her eyes from laughing so hard, she saw Izuku standing there rubbing his hands awkwardly with his gaze stuck on her hoodie.
"Hello Izuku!" She greeted the boy as she wiped her eyes.
"Um..where did you buy this hoodie?" He asked tentatively.
"Young Midoriya, no!" All Might exclaimed, which made her laugh even harder.
A thud was heard from the other side of the table that caused her to turn and look across the table to where Present Mic had in fact, fallen from his chair. He didn't seem to mind the change of position though as he continued to laugh from the ground.
Aizawa was resting his elbow on the table with his mouth resting on his fist and it looked suspiciously like he was trying his hardest to keep his composure.
After managing to calm down a bit, she gave Izuku the name of the store and watched him as he practically skipped back to his table. She also noticed that some of the students were throwing glances at her as they whispered to each other but she didn't think much of it.
She returned her attention to the table where Mic had gotten back up to his seat and the only evidence of Aizawa’s amusement was the slight crinkle at the corners of his eyes.
"You're not going to wear it the rest of the day, right?" All Might was finally starting to get his blush under control.
"Of course I am! It's very comfortable." She rubbed gently at the sleeves, feeling the soft material under her fingertips.
All Might let out a dramatic groan before resting his head on the table.
________
"Okay, yeah I see it now" Kaminari admitted, watching the scene unfolding at the teacher's table.
"I told you! You can't be that comfortable with someone unless it's your boyfriend. " Mina had a very satisfied look on her face.
"But isn't he too old for her?" Ochaco asked with concern in her voice.
"Some women like older men" Mina argued.
________
"Today's class will be different. " Aizawa announced. "So far you have been working on your quirks separately, now it's time to face an opponent."
Excited chatter broke out immediately among the students as they began pairing up with their best friends.
He had discussed it with Blue before the class began and she agreed to pair up with one of the students because Iida was absent again.
A few moments later everyone was paired up, except Todoroki.
Aizawa had assumed that would be the case, given that he was quite a bit more powerful than most of the students and they would be hesitant to face off against him. Hence why he asked her specifically to assist, because he knew she could handle him and their powers complemented each other.
"I'll just practice on my own." Todoroki said after seeing that he was the last one left.
"No, you will be paired up with Blue."
She nodded in agreement when she heard her name, taking it as her cue to walk next to the student.
The pairs scattered across the training field and took their places.
"You're not allowed to permanently injure or kill anyone!" Aizawa called out, his eyes staying on Bakugo a second too long.
"You don't have to do this. I can continue practicing on my own." Todoroki mumbled as they took their place facing each other.
"No, I'm happy to do it." She waved him off. "Plus I've been asking you to join me when I train for a while and now you can't even refuse. " She teased.
"I will not use fire." He stated firmly.
"I'm not asking you to." She shrugged nonchalantly.
"Alright, you have 45 minutes. Begin!" Aizawa instructed and chaos erupted all around.
The only ones that didn't move were Blue and Shoto. They were sizing each other up, waiting for the other to make the first move.
"You should attack me first." She said after a few seconds of stillness.
He nodded and the next moment a blast of ice was coming straight towards her.
She was ready for it, already having anchored her feet slightly apart, to help her keep her balance.
When the ice reached her she took control of it, melting it and throwing it right back at him in a torrent of water.
An ice shield appeared in front of him and managed to block most of it, but a few droplets went around it, splashing him on the face.
They continued throwing attacks back and forth for a while.
She parried all of his attacks with ease and even sent back some of them trying to catch him off guard but he seemed to be able to hold his own against her.
"You lack imagination!" She observed as she circled him during a small break.
His hands were resting on his knees as he bent forward, panting slightly.
"Imagination?" A layer of sweat had gathered on his forehead .
"Yep! Your attacks are strong but they are easy to predict." She raised an open palm and ice daggers began forming in the air, pointing straight at him.
He squinted his eyes slightly, bracing himself.
"A lot of the time, brute force isn't enough to win against a real villain. You need to have the element of surprise." She squeezed her fist closed and the ice daggers flew straight at him.
He covered himself with an ice shield again and managed to stay rooted to the ground as they battered against it, causing multiple cracks to appear on its surface.
Given that all his attention was at keeping the shield raised, he missed the single extra dagger she had created behind him, outside of his field of vision. He was so busy with fighting against the onslaught, he failed to notice it flying towards him until it was pressed against his back. Right over the place where his heart was located.
His eyes widened in shock and he completely dropped his shield once she ended her attack, going as still as a statue.
"I win." She winked at him before dissolving the dagger.
Not long after that, the class came to an end.
Todoroki was clearly disheartened at his defeat and part of her wanted to console him, but she knew that her words of comfort wouldn't have been welcomed right that moment.
She was also really worried about Iida after everything that happened in Hosu with Stain and after he didn't appear in class that day, she decided the best course of action was to find him first.
She asked Izuku about his whereabouts but he wasn't particularly helpful. Apparently, he hadn’t really seen him since they had returned to the school.
After trying his room and the library, both of which were unsuccessful, she decided to walk around the school grounds in the hopes of running into him.
She was beginning to lose hope, especially because the campus was so big, when she finally found him sitting alone on a bench underneath a huge tree.
Their eyes met as she made her way over before taking the seat next to him.
"Hi." She greeted him quietly.
"Hello."
His face was a mask of apathy, but she could see the cracks.
"How are you feeling?" She inspected him for any signs of lingering injuries, but found none.
"I'm completely healthy. Stain's paralysis Quirk didn't leave any long-lasting side effects." He answered, sounding rehearsed.
"That's good to know."
Neither of them spoke for a while, his gaze locked on something in the distance and hers on him.
"If you’re all healed up then why were you not in your class?" She asked hesitantly.
The last thing she wanted was to sound accusatory.
He took such a long time to answer that she almost thought he wouldn't.
"I'm not sure if the Hero path is for me." His voice was so low, he was practically whispering.
That was not an answer she expected to get from him.
"Why would you think that? You'd make a great Hero!"
"No," he shook his head. " I think Stain was right."
"Right about what?" She asked, eyebrows furrowing.
"That a true hero wouldn't go after a villain to get revenge."
She stared at him, contemplating his words.
"Tenya, that's not true!" She finally said with a slight shake of her head.
"But it is! A real hero should only fight to protect others, not serve his own interests." He was almost shouting by that point.
"I can tell you right now that there isn't a single Hero that hasn't wanted to go after a Villain to get revenge at some point. Especially if someone close to them was hurt."
"Really?" His eyes were full of doubt, but she could see a glimmer of hope peeking through.
"Of course! Plus, I don't know if you've noticed, but the man is clinically insane."
That put a small smile on his lips, making her want to fist-bump the air.
"In my opinion your only mistake was going after him on your own. I know you were angry and not thinking clearly but if you ever scare me like that again I will personally make sure you never graduate from this school." She pointed a threatening finger at him but there was no bite behind her words.
"Can you actually do that?" He looked slightly concerned.
"Do you want to find out?" She challenged, raising an eyebrow.
He shook his head quickly.
"That's what I thought!" She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back on the bench. "Look, I think you have great potential as a Hero and I also don't believe that your brother would want you to give up."
He looked to be deep in thought, eyes locked on the ground.
"He wants me to take over his name." He finally whispered.
Eyebrows furrowing, she leaned close to hear him better.
"What do you mean?" She asked, trying to meet his eyes.
He glanced up at her, hesitating.
"He wants me to be Ingenium." He admitted quietly.
She leaned back, her eyes widening.
"Well there you go. That is exactly what I meant." She put a hand on his shoulder. "He believes in you and I believe in you. It's time you start believing in yourself as well."

The walk to the Conference Room went by faster than she expected. They had stayed in a comfortable silence for most of the way.
Hawks seemed to know his way around the building and when they finally reached their destination, he pushed open the door and walked in without knocking.
She followed after him and once she entered she saw that there were people already seated and they all turned towards the two new arrivals. She already knew Nezu, All Might and Aizawa were going to be there but to her surprise Present Mic and Midnight were also in attendance.
Hawks didn't seem to mind all the sudden attention but she cringed internally. She hated being late to things. Most of the seats were taken but there were two available next to Aizawa. She rushed to one of them, keeping her head down and Hawks casually strolled to the one next to her.
"Ah Hawks, you made it." Nezu greeted him politely and he got a nod in return.
"Did you two come here together?" Midnight intertwined her fingers on the table looking very intrigued.
Aizawa sat up straight next to her and looked to be just as interested.
"Yes. I decided to come a little early and I saw her in one of the training fields as I was flying over. I thought I would introduce myself. " Hawks answered leaning back on his chair.
"Interesting." She answered with a smirk.
"Aren't we here to discuss the League's activity?" Aizawa grumbled next to Blue.
She shot him a worried glance. He seemed suddenly annoyed, even though he was fine when she last saw him.
"Right of course. Hawks what do you have for us?" Tsukauchi asked and everyone fell quiet, waiting for the young hero to speak.
"To be honest, there hasn't been much progress with their plans. They're still trying to recruit more people but they're mostly sitting around bashing Heroes. Besides, I don't think they trust me completely yet."
"That's unfortunate! Keep trying to gain their trust." Tsukauchi said.
Hawks nodded.
"I am almost certain that Shigaraki is taking orders from someone else. There have been many instances where Dabi has mentioned he is tired of waiting around for orders from someone he has never met." He added.
"Who are they again?" Blue leaned close and whispered to Aizawa.
"Shigaraki was the one that led the attack here and Dabi has a fire Quirk." He answered quietly.
"Ah ok, got it."
_______
Some time later, the meeting ended without making much progress. Blue walked out with the teachers and made plans with Toshinori to meet later that evening.
Soon, everyone else had walked away, leaving just her and Aizawa outside the room.
"I was wondering if you would like to-" He was interrupted by Hawks.
"Hey Blue, I have to leave but here, this is my phone number. Call me whenever you are free and we can schedule another training session." He gave her a slip of paper with a phone number written on it.
"Oh that's ok. I'm sure you're very busy." She said taking the paper from his hand.
"I am but I insist. There are a lot of things I need to teach you." He teased.
"Okay then. Thank you!" She chuckled.
"Right, well I'll see you then. Eraserhead." He waved at her before nodding to Aizawa, who was watching the scene with an increasingly irritated expression, and then he was gone.
"Teach you what?" Aizawa turned to her, his expression darkening.
"Hm?"
"He said he had things to teach you."
"Oh, that! After watching Stain fight last night, I wanted to try learning how to use a sword as well. Hawks saw me earlier and I was bad enough that he took pity on me and offered to show me the basics." She said with a self deprecating smile.
He stayed quiet but didn't seem happy with that information.
"Oh! You were about to ask me something."
He stayed quiet for a moment before answering.
"I was going to ask you if you wanted to go to the coffee shop again but I'm sure you're tired if you spent all this time training."
"Oh no, I would love to go!" She said excitedly.
"Really?" He seemed pleasantly surprised.
"Definitely. And I really hope we see the cat again." She clapped her hands almost jumping up and down.
"Great. Do you want to go now?"
"Actually, let me go shower and change really quickly and I will come find you at your room when I'm ready. How does that sound? "
He nodded in agreement.
"Amazing! I'll see you in a bit. " She lightly touched his bicep before rushing to her room.
________
They arrived at the cafe, her mood having dropped significantly.
"I can't believe the kitty wasn't there." She whined as they sat down at a table after ordering their coffees.
"It's technically a stray. It wanders off from time to time." Aizawa said in an attempt to console her.
She let out a dramatic sigh before slumping face first into the table. She missed the smile Aizawa had on his face as he watched her.
The same barista from the previous time called out Aizawa's hero name and he got up to go get their drinks. Blue sat back in her chair just as he returned. She took the coffee from him after thanking him.
"So how long have you and Mic been friends? I've noticed that you spent a lot of time together." She asked after taking her first sip. It was really good coffee.
"Since we were in school."
"Aww, I bet you were really cute in your uniform." She teased him.
"I really wasn't." He mumbled, hiding his face behind his coffee cup but she could see the slight pink tint high on his cheekbones.
They spent some time making idle conversation. She hadn’t noticed until just then how comfortable she had gotten around him. Despite their rocky start she had come to consider him a good friend.
"Can I ask you something?" She asked hesitantly. She didn't want to overstep.
He nodded, taking another sip of coffee.
"Do you dislike Hawks?"
He went still, the coffee cup still raised.
"Why do you ask that?"
"I don't know. You kept glaring at him during the meeting. I just want to know if there is a reason for me to avoid him." She picked at her cuticles.
"I don't know him enough to have an opinion." He said after a moment of careful consideration, even though a frown had crept back onto his face
"He seemed nice. A bit more serious than I expected, but nice." She added thoughtfully.
"Well, there you go then." He was squeezing his coffee cup a bit too tightly but she decided not to comment on it.
"Either way, he seems to be very skilled with a sword. I think he's going to be very helpful."
The lid suddenly popped off his coffee cup, sending coffee sloshing over the rim and onto Aizawa’s hand.
"Shit" He jumped back slightly, putting the cup on the table.
She gasped before grabbing a handful of napkins and then his hand. She started dabbing at the liquid trying to clean it as fast as she could.
"How did that even happen?" She inspected his hand for any burn marks.
When she was sure there were none she looked up to Aizawa who was staring at her with a very odd expression on his face. That was when she realized that she had his hand still clasped between hers.
"Oh sorry! I just wanted to make sure you weren't hurt." She released his hand immediately and leaned back.
"I'm okay, thank you." He took the bunched up napkins and started cleaning the liquid that had fallen on the table.
After that they decided it was time to head back.
________
The sun was setting by the time they reached their doors.
"I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to see the cat." He murmured as he stopped in front of his door.
"It's okay, it's not your fault. It just means we have to try again." She joked.
"Yes. Get some rest. You've had quite the ordeal."
"I guess you're right. I can't believe the fight in Hosu City was just last night." She rubbed a hand over her face.
"Are you sure you're okay?" The concern was evident on his face.
"Yes, it was just really scary when I got to that alley and saw them fighting Stain. I was so worried about them." She sighed.
"At least no one got seriously hurt."
"At least there is that." She smiled.
They said their goodbyes and entered their rooms.
She changed into her pyjamas and then collapsed face first onto her bed.
A knock on her door made her groan into the pillow.
"Who is it?" Her yell was mostly muffled.
"It's me." There was a pause. "Toshinori."
"It's unlocked." She yelled not bothering to move.
There was a click and then footsteps.
"Are you attempting to suffocate yourself?" He asked, taking a seat in the desk chair. By that point, he had spent more time in it than she had.
She turned her head and cracked one eye open so she could look at him.
"I might be." The exhaustion had hit her so suddenly the moment she entered her room it surprised her.
"Are you ok? We didn't get a chance to talk all day."
"I'm fine. I'm more worried about the boys." She closed her eye again.
"I went to see all three of them. They are a little banged up but they're going to be fine. I am worried about Iida though." He sighed.
"I told you he shouldn't have gone to Hosu City for his internship." She grumbled.
"Yes, I'll make sure to listen to you from now on." He chuckled.
She made a noise of agreement, practically asleep.
"Hey, what is in that bag?" His voice cut through her sleepy haze and she was suddenly wide awake.
She scrambled off the bed, practically tripping over her own feet in her haste to stop Toshinori from seeing what was inside the shopping bag. She had removed it from her backpack but had stupidly left it next to it on top of her desk. She hadn’t counted on the possibility of him visiting her.
She snatched it from his hand before he could open it and held it behind her protectively hoping he hadn't noticed the store logo.
He clutched his hand close to his chest and stared at her with wide eyes.
"Is it something... inappropriate?" He asked, his face beginning to turn red.
"What? No! Get your mind out of the gutter, Yagi!" She leaned over to her bed, grabbed her pillow and threw it at him.
He raised both arms to catch it and she used that distraction to dash to her wardrobe and shove the bag inside.
"What is it then?" He asked suspiciously, hugging the pillow to his chest.
"It's a surprise."
"For me?"
"You’ll find out tomorrow." She flopped back onto her bed and propped her head on the spare pillow.
"If you give it to me in front of students it better not be something inappropriate."

A/N: Hawks is here!!!
Also I decided to change the layout of my posts. Do we like it? Do we have it? Do we prefer the previous one?
Either way, enjoy!😊
_______________________________________________
She was sitting in a chair in the hallway outside the boys' hospital room, after calling All Might to let him know they arrived to the hospital so the students could get checked out and he let her know that the school was going to send someone the next morning.
She was resting her elbows on her knees, her gaze on the tile floor when a pair of boots entered her vision. She looked up, her eyes meeting Endeavor's glare.
He was a very imposing man and he knew it. Tall and muscular with a gaze that could make people want to run and hide. The flames he usually kept lit around him were nowhere to be found, giving her a clear view of his face. Unfortunately, he was also ridiculously attractive.
"You have a fire quirk" He stated without a greeting.
"I do." She leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Was it you that killed that creature?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"Because you seem to be involved in my son's life and i want to make sure the people he surrounds himself with are suitable influences." His glare intensified.
"Maybe you should be more concerned about how your son is doing than my relationship with him." She glared back at him, refusing to be intimidated by him.
"My son is perfectly capable of taking care of himself!"
"Right. " She deadpaned.
He scoffed before walking away. He didn't even go into the room to check up on him. What a dick!
She rested her head back on the wall and closed her eyes.
She must have fallen asleep because the next time she opened her eyes, the morning light was coming through the windows.
The sound of hurried footsteps jolted her awake. She opened her eyes and sat up straighter just as Aizawa crouched in front of her, resting a hand on her knee.
"Are you okay?" His voice was filled with concern as he assessed her for any signs of injury.
"I don't want to say I told you so but..." She trailed off, waving her hands around.
"What were you even doing here?" He didn't seem the least bit amused.
"Oh, I was shopping?" She cringed because she realized she should have thought of a better cover story while she had the chance.
He shook his head, clearly not believing her even though technically she did buy something.
She was spared the lecture when three men appeared from around the corner of the hallway and seemed to be heading straight towards them. She recognized the old man as one of the heroes from the previous night. She was absolutely certain that she had never seen the other man that was with them because even though he looked normal enough from the neck down, he had the head of a dog.
Aizawa rose to his feet to greet the men and they didn't seem to be paying any attention to her. The only reaction she got was a look of recognition from the old man. The three men entered the room and Aizawa followed them after instructing her to stay put.
Where would she even go?
She took out her phone, glaring at the small crack that had appeared on the corner of the screen and opened her text chain with Toshinori.
Blue: Aizawa is here.
His reply came instantly.
Nori💪🏻: Good. How are you?
Blue: Are you standing around with the phone glued to your hand?
Nori💪🏻: I'm very worried about all of you! Of course I'm constantly checking my phone.
Blue: Aww that's adorable.
Nori💪🏻: Blue this is serious. You could have been seriously hurt. I knew I should not have let you go to Hosu City by yourself.
Blue: Well last time I checked I'm an adult and you're not my keeper so...
Blue: But everything is okay and no one got seriously hurt so there is nothing to worry about.
Blue: Oh and also Endeavor was here.
Blue: At the hospital.
Nori💪🏻: Did he come to check on Shoto?
Blue: No! He came to me and asked me about my fire quirk and when I wouldn't answer him he left.
Blue: Dickhead.
Nori💪🏻: Do not antagonize him! He is not someone you should be taking lightly.
Blue: Oh please, I've met people like him. They think they're better than the others around them. I can't stand them!
Nori💪🏻: I am aware of that but please stay away from him. For my peace of mind.
Blue: Fine
The door of the room opened and the three men walked out. The tall man with the dog head and the hero with the blue suit walked down the hallway and disappeared from her view but the old man stopped next to her and said something that she wasn't able to understand.
"I'm sorry, give me a second." She rushed to open the translation app and asked him to repeat himself.
"Are you the kid?" The mechanical voice translated his question.
"The kid?" She typed and the app repeated in Japanese.
"The kid Toshinori told me about."
That made her pause. He apparently knew All Might's true identity.
"Do you know him?"
The question seemed to amuse him.
"I've known him for many years. I'm surprised he never mentioned me. I'm Gran Torino."
Her eyes widened in shock. She assumed he was the man Midoriya was interning with but she didn't know who he actually was.
"Oh my god, I had no idea. Of course I know who you are, I just didn't know you were taking part in this internship." Her fingers flew over the keyboard.
"Yes well I wanted to meet Toshinori’s successor for myself and I have to say I'm not disappointed so far. With either of you."
"But I'm not his successor." She typed with furrowed eyebrows.
He chuckled at her response before turning around and walking away with a parting wave, leaving her to stare after him confused as hell.
The door opened again and Aizawa walked out. She watched as he moved to the chair next to her and sat down with a sigh.
"What's going on?" She was beginning to get tired of waiting around without knowing what was happening.
"That man was the Police Chief. He agreed to not punish them for using their Quirks against Stain, but Endeavor will take the credit for capturing him." He turned to her. He looked more tired than usual.
"Why would he punish them? They were defending themselves!" She exclaimed, trying her best to keep her voice low.
Sure at first she was angry at them for doing something so reckless but it had become clear to her that it had been their only option at the time.
"Still, they're not licensed heroes. They broke the law.". He rubbed a hand over his face.
"That's a stupid law." She scoffed.
"I'm sure you think that. But we need to follow it either way. " He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes.
"So what's going to happen now?"
"Now," he took a deep breath, "we have to wait until the hospital discharges them in a couple of hours and then I will drive all of you back."
_______
The drive back to the U.A. was quick enough that they managed to get there before noon. No one seemed to be in the mood to chat and she couldn't blame them. That whole situation could have easily been catastrophic. They were all very lucky to come out relatively unscathed.
He parked the car in the faculty parking lot and the boys jumped out of the vehicle as soon as it came to a stop. She grabbed her backpack from where she had placed it between her feet and followed them out.
Aizawa ordered them to go straight to their dorm rooms and then it was just the two of them.
"I didn’t know you could drive. Or that you had a car." She confessed as they began walking to the main building side by side.
"Of course I do. I just don’t get a lot of chances to use it."
She nodded and they stayed quiet for the rest of the way. As they got closer to the building she saw two figures standing together outside the main entrance. One of them was All Might and next to him there was a man with black hair and a trench coat. The sight of him made her falter but she managed to cover it up before anyone noticed.
"You are here!" All Might turned to them as they approached.
He closed the distance between them and threw an arm over her shoulder, squeezing her to his side.
"Did the drive back go smoothly?" He asked Aizawa who nodded.
The other man was locked in a staring contest with Blue that didn't escape either man's attention.
"Right, introductions are in order. Blue this is Naomasa Tsukauchi, he works with the police force and he's a very good friend. Noamasa, this is Blue. She graciously accepted to assist us with the situation we are currently in." All Might explained with an odd smile.
"Nice to meet you." She offered her hand. Tsukauchi stared at it for a second before clasping it in his.
"Likewise."
The handshake lasted a suspiciously long time and Aizawa’s gaze dropped to their clasped hands before shifting into a glare directed at Tsukauchi.
"He is here to debrief us about the incident in Hosu City and of the progress the police has made regarding the League of Villains." All Might added after the two broke apart.
"I was there, I don't think I need to be debriefed." She muttered quietly.
"Well, then you can add any information we might have missed." Tsukauchi said with a polite but slightly forced smile.
Aizawa stayed silent watching the interaction play out.
They began walking to principal Nezu's office where he was apparently waiting for them. All Might led the way with Tsukauchi and Blue followed behind with Aizawa.
Once they entered the room, Blue sat in one of the chairs in front of his desk and Tsukauchi took the other one. The other two Heroes stayed standing yet again.
"You should get more chairs in here." She joked, trying to dispel some of the tension in the room.
"I believe you might be correct." The principal answered with a small smile.
"What can you tell us about the League, Tsukauchi?" He asked turning to look at the man. The rest of them followed his lead.
Tsukauchi didn't seem uncomfortable under all the attention. He cleared his throat and sat up straighter in his chair.
"Our working theory is that they are actively searching for new members to join them, which is why we sent someone to try joining and he was successful. We haven't been able to track down their location yet but we believe that the one who was in charge during the U.S.J. attack isn't the actual leader. We think he's taking orders from someone else."
"You sent an undercover police officer?" Blue asked.
"Actually no, we sent in an undercover hero who has had extensive training. He's actually coming here later today."
"Who is it?" Blue asked, intrigued.
Tsukauchi turned to her, hesitating for a second.
"Hawks."
"Hawks? Why do I know that name?" Her eyebrows furrowed in concentration before widening as she let out a gasp.
"Wait, the guy with the red wings?"
She might not be familiar with Japan's Hero scene but Hawks was famous worldwide. She couldn't think of another Hero that had risen through the charts so fast at such a young age and the fact that he was objectively attractive didn't hurt his cause at all.
"You've heard of him?" Toshinori chimed in.
"Of course I've heard of him, are you kidding me? He's awesome!" She said excitedly. "And so cute!"
That last admission made Aizawa straighten up.
"You think he's cute ?" He asked, a little too quickly.
"Definitely!" She nodded enthusiastically.
He didn’t seem to like that answer.
"Is that wise?" He asked after a beat, turning his attention to Tsukauchi.
"Don't worry. No one will know he's here other than the people that will be in the room."
"That is good to know. So we have to wait for him to get here." All Might added, seemingly oblivious to Aizawa’s suddenly sour mood.
Tsukauchi nodded.
"How about we go out to grab lunch while we wait for him?" All Might asked to which the other man nodded.
"Would you like to join us?" He asked the other two.
Both Aizawa and Blue declined and after Nezu agreed to meet again when Hawks arrived, the group split in two different directions
"So is that your type?" Aizawa asked after a few minutes of walking in silence.
She turned to him, eyes furrowed.
"Are guys like Hawks your type? Popular charmers?" He clarified, the frown still stuck to his face.
"Oh no, definitely not." She let out a small laugh.
"But you said you think he's cute."
"Well I mean, I do have eyes. He's definitely cute but not really my type."
He looked like he wanted to ask more but by that point the had arrived outside of the Lunch Rush Cafeteria.
"Will you get something to eat?" He asked as they stopped in front of the entrance.
"I'm not really hungry. I want to shower and then maybe I'll go train for a while."
He nodded before walking inside.
________
After a long, warm shower and a new change of comfortable workout clothes she made her way to one of the empty training fields. Part of her was really tired but she was also too on edge from the events of the previous night to sleep so she thought the best thing to do was expel some of that pent up energy.
The sun was shining in the sky and the temperature was relatively high so she decided to wear just a t-shirt and sweatpants.
Walking to the middle of the field, she began by doing a couple of stretches and then lowering herself to one knee before thrusting her hand into the ground and dragging out a big sword made entirely of soil.
Stain's fighting style had really piqued her interest and she thought that being able to fight with a sword could prove to be very useful.
She swung the sword around for a while, trying to get used to its weight and when she felt like she could move with relatively ease, she stomped her foot and dirt columns shot up from the ground.
She walked up to the nearest one, touched the sword to its side, both hands grasping the handle before winding her arms back and swinging it forward with all her strength.
As it turned out the earth under the grass field was softer than she expected, and when the sword made of hardened soil hit the pillar it sliced right through it.
The bad thing about that was that she was expecting the pillar to stop the swords movement, and as a result when the sword tore clean through it she wasn't prepared to stop her movement on her own.
The sword's momentum carried her forward, and the next thing she knew she was on her hands and knees with the remnants of the column strewn all around her.
She had also managed to lose her grip on the sword and it was thrown a few meters away.
"That went well." She muttered to herself before a voice sounded from somewhere behind her making her jump in surprise.
She whirled around and saw a man standing at the edge of the field, looking right at her. Rising to her feet, she dusted herself off before using her hand to shield her eyes from the sun as she tried to make out who it was.
"Excuse me?" She called out.
He started walking towards her and it wasn't until he was a few meters away that she had a proper look at him. It only took her half a second to recognize him.
"I said, you should brace your feet before swinging." He had a very faint accent.
"Yes, I realize that now." She joked.
One corner of his mouth lifted in a small smirk before he offered his hand.
"I'm Hawks."
"Yes, you are. I'm Blue." She shook his hand, trying to hide her excitement.
"You are not from around here." He said when they broke apart.
"No, I'm not. I'm sort of a guest."
He nodded before walking up to where her sword was laying and picking it up. He examined it, moving it this way and that. She stood back, watching him quietly.
"This is a very interesting sword." He noted absentmindedly.
"Thank you?"
"Did you make it?" His gaze focused on her again.
"Um... yes, I used my Quirk. " She rubbed her arm suddenly feeling self-conscious under his piercing gaze.
"It's good enough to train, but you will need a proper sword if you plan to use it in an actual fight." He grabbed the sword by the blade and offered it back to her.
"I'm nowhere near being able to use it in a fight." She said as she grabbed the handle.
"That is true. Your technique is abysmal." He answered matter-of-factly.
She was taken aback by his straightforward behavior. He acted very charming and playful in the videos she had seen of him. He wasn't being rude or anything but he seemed to be way more serious in person.
She assumed being in the spotlight constantly had made him create a persona that made people feel at ease around him, just like Toshinori.
"I can help you if you want." He said after a few moments of being in deep thought.
"Really?" Her eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"Of course." He answered as his hand moved to his wings, which looked really cool from up close, and plucked a feather.
She cringed slightly at the action, but her grimace turned into one of shock as she watched the feather harden and turn into a razor-sharp blade.
"Wow." She couldn't hide her reaction.
"Cool, isn't it?" His smirk widened.
"Very cool." She mumbled as she watched him swing the sword in a wide arch. He made it look so effortless, like it was an extension of his arm.
She was so focused on watching him move that she barely managed to raise her own sword when he suddenly swung at her.
"What the hell?" She exclaimed loudly as she strained to keep back his blade.
"At least you seem to be strong enough." He calmly retracted his sword from her own, leaving behind a pretty deep indentation, and lowered it to his side.
She pulled her sword close to inspect the deep gash. He had almost sliced all the way through.
"How about I show you some basic movements?"
She nodded shakily and they spent the next 40 minutes going through movement after movement.
Somewhere along the way, he had her start practicing the movements on the remaining columns and by the time he called an end to the lesson she was sweating and breathing hard.
"I didn’t know sword fighting was so difficult." She panted.
He just chuckled as he watched her trying to catch her breath. He hadn't even broken a sweat, his composure was infuriating.
"I'm sorry to cut this short but I'm expected somewhere and I'm late enough as it is." He said glancing at his watch.
"The meeting with Nezu and Tsukauchi?" She finally managed to stand up straight.
"Yes, actually." He raised a questioning brow.
"I'll be taking part in it as well." She explained.
"Ah, well shall we go then?" He gestured towards the main building.
Summary: When All Might asked her to fly halfway across the world, she was expecting the situation to be serious.
What she wasn't expecting was a school full of meddling teenage heroes-in-training, a team of Villains on the rise and a very quiet teacher she shouldn't be finding attractive to be a part of it.

A/N: You have no idea how long it took me to figure out how to introduce Endeavor! I think this is my third attempt.
Not even joking.😭
_______________________________________________
The day after her date-WAIT WHAT? Not date. It wasn't a date. Visit, that's better.
The day after her visit to Aizawa’s favorite coffee shop, she was at the training field during the Quirk Enchantment class as usual but something felt off. She couldn't quite put her finger on why she was feeling that way but she couldn't seem to shake the feeling that something was wrong.
She was observing the students as they were practicing when she finally figured it out.
Iida wasn't there.
That wouldn't be a cause for concern if it was any other student, but even in her little time at U.A. she had come to learn that Tenya Iida was nothing if not punctual. Something was wrong, she was certain of it.
She decided to ask Aizawa. She spotted him standing at his usual spot and made her way to him.
"Is Iida sick?" She asked in place of a greeting.
"No."
She waited for him to explain further but he didn’t.
"Okay, where is he then?
He glanced sideways at her before sighing quietly.
"He had to go home. His brother is in the hospital."
"What?! Why?" Her eyes widened and she must have been louder than she realized because a few students that where standing close to them turned their heads to see what the commotion was about.
Aizawa muttered something under his breath but his voice was too low and she couldn't understand him so she took a step closer, which made him pause.
"What did you say?" She whispered while looking around to make sure the students were out of earshot.
He took a deep breath before clearing his throat.
"I said, his brother is a Pro Hero and he was attacked last night while out on patrol. He's in critical condition.
"Oh no, poor Tenya." She covered her mouth in shock. "Do they know who did it?"
"The police seem to think he was after a man called Hero Killer Stain"
"Hero Killer? So this is something he has done before."
Aizawa nodded in agreement.
"Shit."
________
Iida was back the next day.
She first saw him while eating breakfast with Toshinori. He was sitting with Izuku and the brown haired girl she believed was named Ochaco Uraraka. She had noticed that the three of them seemed to be really close.
She didn't want to bother him while he was eating but when the three students got up to leave she saw her chance and rushed after them.
"Tenya, wait up!" She called after him.
The students were already out of the cafeteria but they stopped walking and turned to look at her.
"Yes?" He asked calmly.
"Can I talk to you? Alone." She shot the other two an apologetic look.
He agreed and she led him away, so that their conversation wouldn't be overheard.
"I heard about your brother. I'm so sorry! How are you holding up?" She asked, worry evident in her voice.
"Thank you for your concern but there is nothing to worry about. He is going to be just fine!"
His voice was steady but she could see his eyes were a little bloodshot.
"Oh, that's good news then." She said a little hesitantly.
"Of course, yes! He is going to be just fine!" His voice wavered a little at the end.
He was clearly very affected by the whole situation but he was trying to put on a brave face and she didn't want to call him out on it.
"Well, if you ever need anything, I'm here for you." She tried for a smile but it came out more like a grimace. Not that he seemed to notice.
"Thank you very much!" He gave her a clearly fake smile before walking back to his friends.
"I should really keep an eye on him." She muttered to herself.
________
The weekend and following week passed without another incident or any news about Stain.
She kept a watchful eye on Iida during class and whenever she saw him during the meals but she must have been pretty obvious because on Friday Toshinori turned to her while she was absentmindedly moving around the food on her plate with her fork. Her gaze was locked on Tenya yet again.
"What is up with you this past week? You've been really on edge."
His voice actually startled her.
"Huh? Oh, it's nothing"
He clearly wasn't convinced.
"Ok fine! I've been worried about Iida. He keeps acting like he's fine with what happened to his brother but I'm telling you, the kid is a ticking time bomb."
"His brother? You mean the attack in Hosu City?"
She nodded while rubbing her face tiredly.
"Blue," He began hesitantly "his internship is in Hosu City."
Her eyes widened.
"What?!"
"It's true. The results for the internship assignments were uploaded today." He took his phone out to show her. After a couple of seconds of him struggling to find the form, she grabbed it out of his hand making him gasp but she didn't pay him any mind.
She scrolled through the list until she found what she was looking for.
"Are you actually telling me that they're willing to let him go to the place his brother was almost killed, a week after the attack?"
"I mean, I guess it was a bit of an odd choice because bigger Hero Companies were interested in him but it was his first pick." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"And nobody found that concerning?" She growled out.
He just shrugged his shoulders looking a bit lost. Rolling her eyes, she got up from her seat in search of Aizawa.
He was just outside the doors of the cafeteria with Present Mic. They must have been on their way to lunch and she hated to stall them, but this was more important.
"We need to talk!"
Both men were shocked by her outburst but Mic composed himself fast before offering an excuse and darting inside.
"You cannot seriously allow Tenya Iida to go to Hosu City."
"Why not?" He asked eyebrows furrowed.
"What do you mean why not? You're telling me the fact that he applied to a small agency at the place his brother was attacked when he had better offers seems normal to you?" She was almost shouting at that point.
"Look, yes it seemed weird to me as well but it's out of my control." He raised both hands in a calming gesture. "Plus that was the only agency he applied to."
She huffed a breath with a shake of her head.
"I'm telling you, I have a bad feeling about this."
"Well let's hope you're wrong." He let out a resigned sigh.
________
The first few days of the internship passed and everything seemed to be going okay, but she couldn't help feeling on edge waiting to hear something bad had happened.
Given the fact that the students of class 1-A were away from the school, she spent her time observing classes from other years in the mornings and training most afternoons.
As the days passed, the feeling of dread seemed to intensify and so every day after lunch she took the train to Hosu City, in an attempt to put her mind at ease.
She managed to avoid running into Iida, after all she didn't want him to feel like she was stalking him, and the days seemed to be passing smoothly.
She was walking along the storefronts on one of the final evenings of the week of the internships, when an item in one of the displays caught her eye.
"No way!" She gasped before entering the store and heading straight for the sales associate.
She left the store grinning widely, clutching the bag like she had discovered buried treasure. She was attempting to fit it inside her backpack when she heard a commotion a few blocks away.
At first she didn't think much of it, after all there were a lot of people milling around. But that quickly changed when she began seeing people running away screaming.
With her item safely tucked in her backpack, she quickly moved away from the store and rushed towards the source of the disturbance.
That was when she saw the monsters. They were huge, ugly creatures with their brains visible outside of their skulls.
"What the hell are those things?" She stood frozen watching the scene unfolding in front of her.
They were running into buildings, destroying cars and attacking anyone they could get their hands on. A woman stumbled a small distance ahead of her before losing her balance completely and falling to the ground, with one of the monsters getting closer to her.
The sight made her snap out of her shock. She thrust an arm forward, feeling a gust of wind leave her fingertips and collide with the creature, sending it flying backwards. She rushed to the terrified woman's side and helped her to her feet before urging her forward.
Swiveling around, she realized that the creature had apparently found its way back to its feet way quicker than she had hoped.
Shit, I need something more drastic.
Flames lit up at her fingertips and fire streaked across the empty road, hitting it straight on the chest before engulfing it in flames. The smell of burning flesh hit her a second later.
She noticed it was still struggling to move towards her. She clenched her fist, urging the flames to burn hotter and watched with satisfaction as it finally fell to its knees.
She let the flames continue burning for a few extra seconds just to be sure and then all that was left was a burned corpse.
Turning towards the rest of the creatures, she found a tiny old man as well as multiple other heroes that had arrived to the scene and were taking part in the fight.
Across the battlefield, she saw two figures in the distance running towards the chaos. One of them was tall with familiar crimson hair and flames all around him but the other one was the one that caught her attention. It was Shoto Todoroki, so the other man was probably his father.
Seeing him there reminded her that Iida was also somewhere in the city and she had no idea where. Looking at the heroes around her, they seemed to be handling the situation so she begun running through the fight towards Shoto.
Before she could reach him though, he took his phone out of his pocket and whatever he saw must have been really important because he changed direction instantly and started running the opposite way.
"Todoroki!" She yelled, trying to get his attention but she was too far away for him to hear.
The same couldn't be said about his father who turned towards her in an instant.
"Where is he going?" She asked the moment she was close.
"What?" He asked in Japanese
"Shit, wait!" She took her phone out and opened the translation app, her hand shaking.
She typed her question and a robotic voice repeated it out loud.
He replied with an address in perfect English which took her by surprise. She didn’t have time to say anything because he left her without a second glance and rushed into the fight.
She quickly typed the address in the maps app while trying to steady her hands. The truth was it had been a long time since she was in active combat.
The moment the route appeared in her screen, she started sprinting. She had to stop multiple times because the app seemed to keep losing her signal but after a certain point it wasn't even needed anymore because she could hear a battle happening somewhere close to her. Following the noise, she found herself at the entrance of a small dark alley where apparently Todoroki, Iida as well as Midoriya where fighting a someone.
Her stomach dropped.
The man was about to strike Izuku with his sword and she knew there was no way for her to reach them in time so she did the only thing she could do from where she was standing. She created an ice dagger and with the flicker of her wrist it flew through the air, straight towards the man. It wasn't able to reach its target because he noticed it the moment it got close to him and he was fast enough to shatter it with a swing of his sword, but that hadn't been her intention. It was enough of a distraction to not only stop his attack but also give the boys an opening.
That was all they had needed.
The three of them hit him at the same time and he crashed to the ground, unconscious. She hurried towards them and took notice of another man slumped against the wall.
"Are you guys ok?"
Three pairs of eyes stared back at her.
"What are you doing here?" Todoroki was the first to speak.
"I was shopping." Her gaze moved to Iida who looked like he could barely stand and she rushed to his side to help him up.
"Who is this man?" She asked, her gaze never leaving the unconscious figure.
"Stain." Iida answered between breaths.
She glanced at him in shock before returning her gaze to the man.
"What were you three thinking?" She hissed.
"He was about to kill him. We couldn't just stand back and do nothing!" Midoriya pointed to the other man that was still slumped against the wall.
"Is he ok?"
"Stain paralyzed him but he should be ok." Todoroki answered as he approached him.
She let out a breath in relief.
After they secured Stain using a rope they found next to a dumpster, Todoroki threw the paralyzed man over his shoulders and they started moving towards the end of the alley.
She told them about the monsters that attacked the city and they informed her that they were called Nomus and that one of them was present during the attack at the school as well.
Once they finally made their way out of the alley they saw the small man running towards them with the rest of the Heroes following after him. He immediately began yelling at Midoriya and even though she had no idea what he was saying, the panicked look on the boy's face made it clear that he did.
The rest of the heroes were too busy staring at Stain so none of them had time to react when the winged Nomu swooped from the sky, grabbing Midoriya before flying away.
Flames engulfed her hands but she was hesitant to use them in fear of accidentally hitting Izuku as well. She didn't get a chance to think of a different tactic because as it turned out, Stain had regained his consciousness and he was on the creature before it could go far. Everyone watched in shock as he sliced right through it, making it drop the boy.
She managed to catch him with an air mattress just before he hit the ground.
Stain landed on his feet, a crazed look on his face as he glared at the group of heros but then his gaze shifted behind them.
She followed his gaze to see what had caught his attention and took note of Endeavor finally reaching them.
His mere presence seemed to enrage Stain. He started yelling at him and she was sure there was about to be another fight, but it never happened. Stain took a step towards Endeavor and she braced herself but then he just, stopped.
A few moments passed and everyone seemed to be holding their breath but he remained frozen. She was pretty sure he had passed out again or maybe even died.
She took a tentative step forward and when he didn’t react, she walked closer to him watching for any signs of consciousness.
When she was close enough, she lifted her foot and gave him a tentative nudge. That small push was enough to tip him backwards like a falling tree and hit the asphalt with a loud thump, making her jump slightly.
"Well, there you have it then." She mumbled mostly to herself, as silence stretched across the street.
Aizawa x Original Character
Summary: When All Might asked her to fly halfway across the world, she was expecting the situation to be serious.
What she wasn't expecting was a school full of meddling teenage heroes-in-training, a team of Villains on the rise and a very quiet teacher she shouldn't be finding attractive to be a part of it.
But hey, what could possibly go wrong?

A couple of days later, she realized her ankle was feeling much better. The swelling had gone down completely and she could finally walk more than a few meters without feeling pain.
She didn't really see Aizawa in the days after he found out about her ankle, but she found a cup filled with tea waiting for her outside her door every morning and he always acknowledged her when ever they ran into each other around campus. That alone felt like a huge win in her book.
Given her ankle's improvement, she decided it was a good time to ask Nezu if she could use one of the training facilities.
He was very agreeable with that idea, letting her know that the training field where the Quirk Enchantment class usually takes place is free in the afternoons and that she was more than welcome to use it.
She decided to head there a couple of hours after the classes ended just to be sure that it would be empty.
Walking to the center of the field, she made sure she was away from anything flammable.
A flame flickered on her fingertips. She let the fire grow until it had engulfed her whole hand. The heat was familiar and comforting. Fire wasn't her strongest element. It had also been the last one she discovered which made her wary of using it. For a long time, she had been terrified of losing control and hurting the people around her, but after training hard for the past few years her power had grown tremendously and so did her control. She had reached a point where the flames truly felt like a part of herself, even though it was a part she didn't show very often.
She took a deep breath before thrusting her hand forward. The flames exploded across the field bringing a smile to her face.
She spent the next hour practicing different moves using only her fire. It had been a long time since she’d relied on it so heavily and using it felt almost like stretching an unused muscle.
She was sweating by the time she finished. She had also started to feel a small flicker of discomfort on her ankle but she managed to push through it.
Glancing towards the school, she noticed a figure sitting on the ground at the edge of the field. As she got closer she saw it was Todoroki.
“How long have you been here?” She asked once she reached him.
“A while.”
She sighed before lowering herself next to him, the two of them sitting in silence.
“You should have joined me.” She nudged him teasingly.
“I don't use fire around other people.” His face was an unmoving mask as he stared across the field.
“Yes, you've said so.” She hesitated for a second, considering whether it was a good time to breach the topic. After all, she was practically a stranger to him.
“I might have asked around about you. And I might have learned a few things about your father.”
It got a small reaction out of him. He turned to face her, his eyes narrowing.
“And what did you learn exactly?” he asked, his voice had gone cold.
“Well, that he's a dick,” she began.
That won her a tentative smile and she felt like jumping up and pumping her fist in the air.
“And that even though you share a Quirk you're nothing like him. That means that you don't have to give up on that part of yourself.”
His smile vanished.
“All I'm saying is that I believe you can reach your full potential and become a really strong Hero. Don't let him hold you back.”
His only answer was a small nod.
“Right, well good talk but I'm sweaty and I need a shower. Think about my offer.” She jumped to her feet, waving at him as she backed away.
________
She had just finished getting dressed after her shower when there was a knock at her door.
She opened it and came face to face with Aizawa.
“Hello.”
“Hi!” She said brightly.
“Do you want to get coffee with me?” He blurted out.
“What?” She was taken aback.
“I mean, do you want to come to the coffee shop I go to. So you know where it is and then you can go by yourself whenever you want to get coffee. Because you like coffee. And… we don't have coffee here.” He was looking anywhere but her.
Her face lit up with a smile.
“Oh, that would be great! Give me a second to grab my things.” She rushed back into her room and grabbed her crossbody bag. He was truly so thoughtful. She made sure that her wallet, room key and phone where inside before going out to meet with him.
They left the school grounds and began walking. The truth was she hadn’t really left the school since the mall visit on her first day there. Thinking of the mall made her remember that creepy man she had seen there but she quickly shook her head and ignored that unpleasant memory.
The weather was nice but there was a light chill in the air and she was thankful she had decided to grab a light jacket before they left.
They walked in silence but she didn't mind it because she was too busy admiring the houses and trees as they passed by them. A few minutes later she saw something that made her stop in her tracks and gasp.
Aizawa was instantly on high alert, looking around for any signs of danger but she didn't pay him any attention. No, her gaze was locked on a fluffy orange cat that was sleeping in front of someone's front door. She grabbed his bicep, making him turn to stare at her hand on his arm. Again, she didn't notice.
“That is so cute!” She whisper-yelled.
He finally saw the cat and he instantly relaxed, a soft smile appearing on his face.
Now that, she noticed. But only because she turned to look at him at that exact moment. Her heart skipped a bit. She didn’t think she had ever seen his smile. For a second she just stared at him, until she noticed she was still holding his bicep.
She let go of him as though he'd burned her before turning to look back at the sleeping kitty.
She slowly walked closer to it. She managed to approach it without scaring it and even though it opened its eyes to look at her at one point, it didn’t look inclined to move. That worked perfectly for her, as she kneeled down in front of it and gently touched its furry head. She gave it a few strokes and the cat started purring, causing her to make a sound that could be best described as a gasp mixed with a squeal. She was pretty sure she had just died and gone to heaven.
“It's purring!”
“He.” Aizawa said from behind her.
“Huh?” She turned to him in confusion.
“It's a male.” He explained. That soft smile was still on his lips.
“Oh, he's such a handsome boy!” She continued petting the purring cat, fully aware that she was using a baby voice while she was talking but she was equally aware that there was absolutely no way she could stop.
She finally managed to retract her hand and get to her feet at some point, even though it was a very difficult feat, returning to Aizawa’s side who had not complained at all the whole time.
“Sorry about that. I just love cats so much.” She smiled sheepishly as they continued on their way.
“It's ok, I really like cats too. I usually stop to pet him whenever I pass by.”
“Are you saying that I might see him again?” She asked excitedly.
“He usually hangs around this neighborhood because the residents feed him, so the chances are pretty high.”
She did her best not to squeal at the news.
Soon, they reached the coffee shop and she followed him inside.
The smell of coffee instantly hit her nose. The place wasn't particularly big. There were a few tables scattered around, most of them empty. At the far end of the shop there was a counter that separated the barista and the coffee machine from the rest of the store. Behind it, there was a very pretty woman that seemed to recognize Aizawa instantly. She greeted him and they chatted for a while before he returned his attention back to Blue.
“What would you like?” He asked her.
“A latte with one sugar please.”
He translated her order to the cute barista and she turned to the coffee machine to make their orders.
He led her to one of the empty tables and they took their seats.
“So do you know her well?” She asked, her curiosity piqued.
“Who?” He furrowed his eyebrows.
“The barista. You seemed to be friendly.”
He glanced at the counter seemingly confused.
“I come here often and I have met her before but I wouldn't say we are particularly friendly.” He said honestly.
“Oh, well that's what it seemed like to me. My bad.” She shrugged.
Before he could answer the barista called his name and he went to get their coffees.
He handed it to her when he returned and she instantly took a big gulp. It was really good.
“Thank you for showing me this place, you are a life saver!” She gave him a bright smile.
“It's no problem.”
A silence fell over their table as they sipped their coffees.
“How is your ankle?” He asked in a low voice.
Her gaze snapped to him from where she was looking out at the street through the floor to ceiling windows.
“It's way better. Thank you for the tea.” She was crossing her fingers in her mind, hoping he wouldn't ask anything else about it.
“How exactly did you get hurt?”
Shit
“Well, as I already told you, I was fighting a villain. He ended up overpowering me and then that happened.” She was being as vague as she possibly could and he seemed to see right through it. Thankfully he didn't push the matter further.
“So I heard that the first years will start applying for some sort of internship next week.” She tried her best to change the subject. It seemed to do the trick because Aizawa leaned back in his chair, his shoulders relaxing.
He explained that it was something the school did every year, usually lasting for about a week. The students gave their choices of the Hero Agencies they wanted to internships under and if they were chosen they spent that week working there.
“That sounds really cool!” She exclaimed once he finished his explanation.
“You didn’t have internships at your high school?” He raised an eyebrow.
“Oh no, I didn’t go to a hero high school.” She said nonchalantly.
That seemed to surprise him.
“So how did you train to become a Hero?”
“On my own. To be honest I didn’t really train to be a hero. It's just something that kind of happened.” She shrugged.
He looked like he wanted to ask more questions but he seemed to decide against it. Instead he told her that they should head back to the school because it was getting late. They rose from their seats and headed towards the exit. The barista called after them and even though she didn't understand what she said, she turned back and waved at the woman with a smile.
On the way back there was no sign of the cat which disappointed her very much.
When they arrived at the school she saw Present Mic walking towards them. Aizawa noticed him a second later as well and he muttered something under his breath that she didn’t understand.
“Well hello there! Where did you two run off to?” He asked cheerfully.
“Aizawa was kind enough to take me to the coffee shop he likes.”
That statement seemed to make Present Mic ecstatic which was a bit weird if she was being honest.
“Oh really? Our Shota here is very, very kind!” He threw an arm over Aizawa’s shoulder which seemed to make the man tense before throwing him the biggest side eyed glare she had ever witnessed.
“Right.” She gave them a slightly confused smile.
“Well thank you again for taking me there. It really made my day.”
He turned his gaze to her, his glare disappearing.
“It was no problem.”
She bid them goodbye before walking away.
________
The two men stared after the retreating figure. Aizawa was calmly watching while Yamada was almost vibrating out of his own skin in excitement.
“NOT. A. WORD.” He practically growled without even turning to look at the man with the huge smile on his face.

I just started watching Jujutsu Kaisen for the first time without knowing anything about it before that. I'm on episode 12 and can someone please tell me I'm not the only who thinks that Mahito is flirting with Nanami. I've barely found anything about them.
I just finished writing chapter 9 where Hawks is introduced and I'm very excited for you to read it but also super nervous because I keep seeing people say that he is very mischaracterized in fanfics. I hope i do him justice.🥹
