Dude you guys had them carve their names into a table. He goes insane without her. She complete ignored her recent ex just to hug him. He called her hot. She called him handsome. She immediately forgave him for abandoning her just to have him back in her life. She didn't actually forgive him because losing him hurt so bad. He grows and changes to be better for her. She opens up to him in ways she opens up to no one else. They spend all their time together. Their mutual best friend says they "practically sleep in the same bunk." They're friends in every universe. Their bond literally transcends timelines.

If you wanted me to read them as platonic, why did you write them as canonically soulmates???
