SVSSS Au wher SQH waits like a year after SQQ self destructs and just fucking kills himself to start living out his days as a cottage core gay farmer(gone wrong). (its a long post so im gonna be nice and put it under the read more :D)

he sets up a nice little house by where the mushroom bodies are growing and puts some farming materials and preserved food and because he kills himself normal style (read, puts on those binding cables and slits his throat) next to Sqq's body [binghe is fighting Lqg in the courtyard and Sqh takes his chance to sneak into his dear cucumber bro's room to snuggle up next to him and die] it takes only a few months to a year for him to wake up and starts living the low stakes farmer life while on occasion going to sell some surplus crops at the nearby village to learn the general gossip (and of course checking up on his dear Mbj, who seems much colder and much more ruthless now... how strange....)

after a few years, he comes home from his bimonthly trip to find Sqq's body plot is torn up and the clothes he set out on the line are GONE and he panics because he had a whole plan for dragging his bro out of the closet and convincing him to be his pretty male wife! that was HIS bro whos the only other real person in the world! his most devoted fan! he had a whole novel he wanted his dear cucumber to proof read(he wrote some parts as trashy as possible so he could feel that sweet, sweet fan smack across his head... his mild masochist plans... foiled by not setting up any arrays to alert him when Sqq woke up...)

now he has to track down his bro, and gets dragged back into the plot around the same time that sqq is being kidnapped by Shl and brought to the demon palace and that whole plotline happens.

Sqh gets grabbed by Lgj who's like "i recognize that mousy human... maybe i can use that one's face to trick my nephew so i can kill him and take his throne...." which fails spectacularly because Sqh ass kisses for a good week and then just sets him on fire and skips away to go warn his king that an army is being sent towards him.

at this point he see's his corpse in Mbj's palace frozen in a block of ice and gets caught because he spirals questioning why his body is here? why wouldn't it have been thrown away? why is his body seemingly perfectly uninjured when he KNOWS he caused massive physical wounds- *gets snattched by Mbj who is about to throttle this demon wearing his dead love's face* AH MY KING IM SORRY FOR RUNNING AWAY- *insert emotinal(for mbj) reunion before they have to deal with Lbh trying to kill everyone by merging the realms*

they get to the ridge and everyone else is like "WHEN DID HE GET REVIVED???? THE FUCK??"

of course this means that it takes a lot longer for sqh to notice his kings affection because they no longer deal with that little side quest of Sqh running away before the accension until like. two decades later.

demons sing songs of the legendary quest of Mbj regaining his dead lover who served him for so long. and then they make fun of their lame ass emporor for marrying his teacher.

(no one brings up the rumors of Sqh and Sqq being lovers anymore, at least not in public... there is a very popular novel that details the four as an insane polycule situation but th servants make sure to never show this to the royals.)

Shizun Liu Qingge.

After many afternoons of subtle hints mixed with afternoons of tea (Liu Qingge doesn't like it, but drinks it anyway because it's Shen Yuan's favorite) and desserts made by Luo Binghe (which Liu Qingge devours), he decides to follow Shen Yuan's advice and establish a routine for interaction between the disciples of Baizhan peak and disciples from other peaks.

Now it's common to see the fearsome god of war flying on his sword with two small disciples (8-9y/o) in his arms, descend to the ground and then toss them into the middle of disciples dressed in green with a "There. Make friends. I'll be back at sunset. Bye." before disappearing into the clouds.

Surprisingly, the disciples of Baizhan peak are as rough as they are socially outgoing. Yang Yixuan is doing a great job with his little shidis, although he still dislikes the way the senior disciple of Baizhan peak invades his Liu-shidi's personal space.

Another spin on the hanahaki disease where butterflies (Qi that takes the shape of butterflies) spill out every time a person’s near the person they’re in love with (hehe butterflies in the tummy). The butterflies follow whoever they were made for around. (For example, if LBH had butterflies for SY, they’d come out of LBH’s mouth and follow SY around.)

Puppy love isn’t harmful and usually yields a few harmless butterflies. The more intense the love and the less a person acknowledges them, the dangerous they get.

It’s especially dangerous for SQQ, who cannot accept his feelings for Yue Qi after everything that’s happened. It doesn’t make sense to him and he’s unsure why his heart feels this way when his mind says otherwise—it’s like intrusive thoughts from his heart!!

He avoids YQY like the plague, refusing to let out a single butterfly in his presence. At peak lord meetings he keeps his fan over his face when he needs to speak and keeps his teeth pressed together…

Then after getting hit with a truth serum or something and attending a peak lord meeting as a result of it, it all spills out. YQY is asking him a question and his mouth is opening before he can stop it, butterflies slipping out with every word. They swarm YQY, landing on him affectionately. SQQ is mortified and he immediately turns and leaves, refusing to acknowledge them. YQY is just sitting there in stunned silence.

It's that moment that allows him to put a name to the feelings that he feels for Shen Qingqiu. In his own stomach he feels a faint tickle.

Post-SVSSS Shen Qingqiu/Shen Yuan that doesn't want to go to sleep anymore because every time he closes his eyes he falls into a different universe where he can be a Bingge's wife, Bingge's wife's father, a wandering cultivator, a CCMS disciple, an unnamed Peak Lord, the washerwoman, an Abyssal demon, MBJ, or anything in between. His fate differs greatly in these dreams as well: from fluffy threesomes with his husband and LQG to dying a terrible death many times at the hands of Bingge. Shen Yuan wakes up gasping. He is scaring his husband who can't access those new dreams. Everyone is worried. Shen Yuan tries to learn to live without sleep.

Okay so imagine Bingzu. In his original world he started getting tired of his world, so he let himself be "captured" (he's not actually trapped) and sealed in this massive stone labyrinth. He made himself a little hideaway in the deepest stone chamber and began splitting his consciousness across different realms (yadda yadda, the binglet systems do stuff and we get bingge and bingmei). He starts noticing however that for every binghe, there's a corresponding shen yuan, even when sy or lbh ends up with someone else, forces beyond bingzu himself bring binghes and yuans together. So noticing this pattern, bingzu starts carving stuff about the various iterations of SY onto the labyrinth walls in hopes of figuring out the pattern, the code in the universe, that might allow him to find his

So cut to modern day. Cultivation is a thing of the past that's slowly being reintroduced to modern society after being lost, kind of like a lot of the pagan religions in the west. (With less cultivation, and thus less spiritual qi being cycled, kinda like pollination, any borders to the demon realm closed, cutting them off from each other outside of specific circumstances-we'll get to it) SY is an archeologist alongside his friend XF who study a lot of ancient cultivators, sects, etc. SY's focus is specifically ✨️Luo Binghe✨️ a famous cultivator, rumored to have been half-demon (though some scholars speculate that could've been later exaggeration) whose existence is only known about due to stories. All that changes however when SY, piecing together clues from stories of LBH's sealing, where exactly his tomb might be. And he finds it! Yay! Except, why do a lot of these stone carvings have a striking resemblance to him, and his personality, and his interests.

Eventually SY discovers the chamber with LBH. He went into full on hibernation escapism mode, essentially watching other universes like trashy TV after giving up hope if getting his own SY after thousands of years. During this hibernation his body turned to stone as a way to preserve itself. When SY gets close to the statue however LBH wakes up, and sees the man he's been dreaming to meet. Their really might be a SY for him after all.

Shenanigans ensue

Shortly after discovering LBH, SY and XF go into a research frenzy over this. LBH is amused. Since he's so focused on his work however, XF has started neglecting his toxic bf, who becomes his toxic ex. Downside is that this toxic ex is in a demon cult.

So turns out, there have been secret cults keeping connections to the demon realm through blood sacrifices, old arrays, and demonic cultivation (tho weaker than it was during the peak of cultivators) (you could probably also throw an mdzs cameo in there if you wanted). Anyway thru this cult, XF's toxic ex summons an old demon to torment XF. This demon being MBJ.

MBJ exists thru LBH's power of manifestation since he's old as balls & powerful as fuck. He ended up getting MBJ to exist by accident while he was imprisoned because he kept seeing the guy appear in other universes and started warping his own in the background, something that also helped SY find him since his years of yearning established a soulmate-like tie between them.

So MBJ, an old as balls (tho young compared to LBH) demin finds himself summoned to XF's apartment. What XF's ex didn't account for was that MBJ was gay and lonely and with XF's pleading feeding his ego he decides to make this twink his wife.

Even more shenanigans ensue

Svsss antifan SY x streamer SJ.

SJ, who streams to get a little more cash, arguing with one of his most frequent viewers, SY, every stream.

(Idk if SY's name would still be peerless cucumber when it comes to streams but his name will stay peerless cucumber in this au)

The streams always start off as something calm, Shen Jiu has a variety of things he can do for each stream. One stream he's painting, another stream he's playing an instrument, the next he's practicing calligraphy, and so on and so forth.

His streams are usually calm, the type of things people put on while they're studying or trying to sleep--so viewership has always been higher at night than during the day.

Until now that is. Lately viewers have been joining their earlier streams to see an interaction between the legendary Peerless Cucumber and their favorite streamer.

PC appeared out of nowhere one day, responding to a book review that Shen Jiu'd done recently. He dropped a donation and criticized SJ's interpretation of the story on a tts message.

This wasn't anything unusual, there were always a few people that disagreed with the topics Shen Jiu talked about while he worked. His opinions were his own though, so he didn't pay much to PC at first.

Then some fans started chiming in with donos of their own, defending Shen Jiu and telling this troll to get lost.

Nobody expected PC to up his dono by like 5x and shut everybody up. He's like "I can afford to stay in this chat room" or something along those lines.

And then he keeps sending donos until SJ snaps and they start arguing back and forth.

The entire thing was clipped for the masses to see--nobody really expecting to see anything like that happen again... Until next stream, where Peerless Cucumber is returning to argue with SJ over something again.

By the end of the week SY is SJ's top doner, like the difference between his total donations and second place's donations are astronomical.

Some people recognize him from the PIDW forums, so PIDW fans start joining SJ's stream just to joke about the infamous PC and his bad temper. This in turn exposes more people to PIDW, which gives airplane a fuckton of viewers.

Insert SY helping both people make more money just by being so obnoxious. Like he's so infamous in both communities that SJ's fandom and airplane's fandom have started a legendary shipping war.

People are shipping Shen Jiu (Idk his streamer name yet teehee) x Peerless Cucumber, Airplane Shooting Towards the Skies x Peerless Cucumber, SJ x Airplane, SJ x PC x Airplane. There's just a whole bunch of ships now.

The one thing that all shippers agree with is making Peerless Cucumber a bottom in all fan works.

Medical Marriage! Cumplane! AU

This AU starts with the fact that Shang Qinghua and Shen Yuan definitely knew each other when they were alive. They were friends, though neither of them knew who the other’s online identity was, and when Shen Yuan was 22, he asked SQH to marry him for A.) tax purposes, B.) so Shang Qinghua wouldn’t end up homeless, and C.) so that when Shen Yuan finally died, Shang Qinghua would pull the plug (He knew his parents wouldn’t be able to, and he couldn’t bare the idea of making his siblings do it).

They are very platonic, but it is very important to know that no one else knew they were platonic. The entire Shen family thinks that they are together, his mother had basically adopted Shang Qinghua, his father and older brothers had all given Shang Qinghua the shovel talk, and his little sister had Shang Qinghua’s number on speed dial.

After they realized the other had also transmigrated with them, they started resuming their old friendship, and they confuse everyone around them. Most of the Peak Lords are trying to figure out what is going on, Yue Qingyuan is giving Shang Qinghua a death glare whatever Shen Yuan has his back turned, and no one has ever been able to figure out what they are. (Some An Ding disciples start a betting pool about it, and within a year, all of the peaks are involved)

However, one day, Shen Yuan gets hurt on a mission, not deadly injured, but unconscious and in bad shape. When Shang Qinghua hears about it, he immediately comes and starts giving instructions to Mu Qingfang, slipping into the same pattern that he had when they were on their first life. 

When someone asks him why he’s making all the decisions, Shang Qinghua, who is caught up in the odd mixture of panic and déjà vu, nonchalantly says “I married him, and that means I get to make medical decisions for him when he is unconscious.”

Everything explodes into chaos

tbh, I think Xie Lian could be a really good role model to Shen Jiu if they yoinked him from Qiu manor. Maybe his bad luck got him tied up in some sketchy situations and he gets tied up in the manor, meets Shen Jiu, then escape together under the promise Xie Lian teaches him to cultivate. Xie Lian slowly breaking down his walls by being a good person and able to sympathize with Shen Jiu.

And all of that progress starts backsliding when he meet a Qi-ge that doesn’t even remember him with a mentor named Jun Wu

Shen Yuan-is-Shen Jiu au where regaining memories of his past life does not, in fact, fix Shen Qingqiu. But potentially make him worse.

To be saddled with the memories of once having a better life than the one he has now, with a family that had cared for him and a sister that he loved, and brothers he cared for in turn? Only to end up being stuck in the very book he loathed in one life, and stuck as the very man he cursed the name of?

His past life does not take the predominant seat in this new one; these memories do not make him softer, or kinder. In fact, they make him angrier. They make him bitter. To know and remember what he has lost and will never get back; why should he be happy about such a thing? And tied to such a wretched thing as the system.

Perhaps it makes his interactions with Luo Binghe different. Either crueler -- digging his own grave deeper. He is already dead anyways -- or turning tail and becoming colder. He stops trying to kill him, but his indifference is a bitter blade. Going through the motions without any actual hatred behind it. Fulfilling an angry, vicious role.

Shen Yuan, after all, is dead. Shen Qingqiu sniffs. Why bother resurrecting a dead man? He's been buried for as long as Shen Jiu has been alive.

Danny became a Personal Chef as an adult- wait, holding on. Not that kind of chef. While Danny does and can make high quality meals for people, his actual clients are more often than not of the four legged variety.

It started when Danny got his own pet(s) and was unimpressed by the food options for them, so he made his own. He even went to Veterinary school, and became a pet nutritionist/dietitian, and that eventually spiraled into his career as a Personal Chef.

And okay, yes, Danny does also make food for the owners, as most people hire him for both aspects, but mostly he focuses on animals.

Kara has been struggling with keeping Krypto fed properly. All the dog food she can find from kibble, to cooked, to raw, just isn't enough for his alien biology, and as a result hes been getting into stuff to try and satisfy his stomach.

One if Kara's work friends recommends Danny to her, claiming he helped her grandpa's Yorkie finally put on some weight, and he doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Without any other ideas, Kara bites the bullet and calls, preparing to pull out the "meta animal" excuse.

Except Danny doesn't ask about any of that. He asks about Krypto's activity level, any allergies he has, how often he gets treats/enrichment. He ran an exam on Krypto right in the living room, humming to himself and repeatedly giving Krypto treats to keep him in place. When he finished, he flipped a page in the notebook and started writing out a meal plan, working out with Kara how much it would cost and what day would be best for him to come over to cook.

As he was leaving, he pet Krypto almost fondly. "I've never seen a Kryptonian Hound in Earth before. He could do with a bit more exercise, but let's tackle his diet first, you've actually done pretty well considering all modern dog food isn't enough for him unless you over feed him." And then, as Kara was stunned and dumbfounded, the man left, promising to come by like they scheduled to give Krypto his first meal.

Did Kara want to pull a Bat or heck pull a Clark and research this guy? No. No she didn't, not unless he seemed like an actual threat, so she was just gonna leave it be. Besides, the guy was kinda cute, and Krypto didn't seem go mind him.
