Hillside strangler
In March, 1958, Harvey Glatman met Shirley Ann Bridgeford at the Patty Sullivan Lonely Hearts Club. They planned to eat dinner and drive to Sun Valley. After a while, Glatman pulled out his .32 caliber and demanded her to undress. He raped her and demanded Bridgeford to pose for pictures. Glatman garroted her, killed her, and then took pictures of girl’s dead body in various positions.
In 1957, Harvey Glatman moved to Los Angeles, California and started trolling around modeling agencies looking for women to satisfy his violent sexual urges. He would offer them some work for pulp fiction magazines, take them back to his apartment, tie them up and rape them, taking pictures all the while. After he’s satisfied with the final result, Glatman would then strangle them and bury them in a nearby desert plot.
In August 1, 1957, Glatman called Judy Ann Dull regarding a photo shoot. She agreed to do a photo shoot that afternoon. He told her to wear a tight skirt and sweater. They left her apartment and went to his “studio.” Harvey Glatman then raped Judy and made her cuddle with him while he watched television. He lassoed her neck, shoved her to her knees, pushed her down and took the other part of the rope around her ankles. Glatman pulled her body up and she was dead.
