Normally I don't just make purely meta posts, but things have ended up getting out of hand for me again for different reasons than before, and I'm not sure if I can even start the lore arc I had planned for the page now.

It's not so much that I'm unable to, but a lot of the motivation I had for the concept has faded over time, and I'm considering taking up something else instead.

If I do that, this page will still exist, and it'll almost certainly continue again at some point in the future, but I'd be far more capable of putting my time and love into that other project idea.

Also, in addition to that other project idea being more favorable right now, that would be something where I explore creating art made specifically for the content.

How would you feel if one more alternate universe for Undertale came into existence?

Oh, also, the fanon Sands the Skeleton is from has a name now. Welcome to Objecttale, the game where everybody both died and didn't.

I DIDN'T WANT TO SAY ANYTHING UNTIL I WAS SURE, BUT I GOT HELP FROM SCALE UNDERSEA, AND I THINK SANDS IS ACTUALLY OKAY! (AND, ALSO, THAT HE IS ACTUALLY SANDS UNDERTABLE, AND NOT SOME RANDOM DUSTED BONES.)

SCALE MANAGED TO OPEN UP THE VACUUM THAT GOT HIM, AND WE THINK WE GOT ALL OF HIM OUT. THERE THANKFULLY WASN'T MUCH ELSE IN THE TANK AT THE TIME.

... Yeah, it's time I retire this. Like Sans with his quiche, trying to start this blog was too much responsibility for me, and I let it lag behind...

Now, I'm leaving it underneath the metaphorical waterfall-bench of the internet. I'm not shutting it down or disabling replies on my posts for now.

Please treat this delicacy respectfully. Avoid spitting on it, try not to kick dirt on top of it, etc. Someday, some hungry Undertale fan might stumble upon this delicious quiche and want to take a bite for the nostalgia.

(I will be keeping an occasional eye on this to see if/when someone posts something bad. Should it get bad enough, things will get closed down - for good.)

After seeing how SamHammie made deltarune sprites for Joyce using my Undertale ones, I feel inspired to do the same. My version would be very different. SamHammie seems to have reskinned Kris's sprites. I wouldn't give her a more unique outfit. Joyce also probably would fight, so I might make some new actions. It would certainly help having SamHammie's to go off of, though. Is there any chance that I couldn't get a high-resolution image of those?

to the best of my knowledge, the version linked from imgbb is the highest they can provide, since that version isn't jpeg compressed. did you just click the preview on tumblr instead of visiting the url? that'll give you the compressed version, if so.

honestly, not sure if i can keep going, but i wanted to add onto this regardless.

another milestone. honestly not even sure if i'll hit a kilometerstone or a nautical milestone at this point.

... is this a nautical milestone? things feel so rough right now that i can't really tell if my ship sank already, and i'm just huddled in the boiler room, waiting for the storm to pass...

... metaphorically speaking, of course. i'm still just sand under a table at the end of the day.

just adopted a rescue.

now i have my very own pet gamer.

they're a violent little bugger, to the point where i haven't even been able to part their fur and check their gender. keep brandishing a knife at me and claiming they're a human, but i know a human when i see one, and this clearly ain't one.

this particular gamer seems to prefer pellet instead of flake for food, which seems a little old school, but i don't really judge.

they also turn away the fresh dew from the mountain grass when i try to make them drink, and they keep asking for something called crystal pepsi instead. i really don't know what that is.

distant screaming from a cage in the other room while i sip from a can labeled "clear bepis"

yeah... not sure what they're so furious about right now... they keep telling me that clear bepis is the same thing, but pets can't drink soda.

For additional context, this is a simultaneous reference to multiple memes and discrepancies within the plot of Undertale revolving around assumptions as to the gender of each of the fallen humans.

The "pellet or flake" thing is in reference to a meme asking if you should be giving a pet gamer Totinos Pizza Rolls or nacho cheese Doritos, the mention of "dew from the mountain grass" was meant to be a reference to Mountain Dew, and the reference to Crystal Pepsi was less due to a meme and more due to an image hidden in Undertale (as well as some removed/fallback dialogue options) mentioning a drink called Bepis.

Hope you found this funny, and sorry for yapping. I just discovered the "read more" option in posts, and wanted to make use of it.
