I moved 1203 miles without my boyfriend to my home town. My dad only has a couple weeks to live. I'm pretending he's just going on an overseas job for a really long time. Like, the rest of my life long. I'm so ready to go home and start something fresh.

Tried to keep myself busy hanging out with people. Then at night laying in bed, I have a moment to realize what's going on and that I'm very very sad.

My pain is not unique

Feel like I’ve been neglecting this when in reality I just forgot. Got too busy or too lazy or probably just both. As far as I can remember..nothing new to report. I started a new face wash. Does that count? Lets hope it works.

Feel bad I've neglected my tumblr this week. I hurt my foot so everything takes ten times longer to do and there's always a lot to clean. The toddler and I got up at 5:30 this morning. Neither of us could sleep. But I was able to make breakfast and sit here in somewhat silence. Usually its one of them saying wake up and the other pushing on my face until I do. We had friends over yesterday. It's nice to have people go out of their way to come see you but at some point I always wish I was in my PJs alone with my hair up. So I'm not even getting dressed today. Or cleaning. I'm going to sit here and watch my kid play video games. Speaking of kid.. Yesterday he insisted on pulling a tulip out of the ground. I told him to leave it but he grabbed it right by the stem, yanked it up and said "here you go". Then made me put it in a vase. Where do they get this shit? I never get flowers.

Dinosaur Turtle

Sunday was a little better. I was able to clean a little more and not tire as easily. I started the day off having coffee on the porch. It was storming and I love the rain. Today I went to the zoo at opening. The animals are more lively than they are at midday. I got insanely close to a giant turtle. I could of touched it but that didn’t seem safe. It was just a little fence in between us. He made this roaring sound and I thought about how much he is like a dinosaur. The closest I will ever get to a real dinosaur. It was amazing. (Giraffes are my favorite but they weren’t out because of the storms from the night before) I got access to my dads charts and his test are pointing towards cancer. But I’m no doctor, and I don’t want to worry about it more until the MRI this weekend. Every time we talk on the phone he brings up paying the bills again and what hes going to do and it puts me on edge. I don’t know what to do either and I feel shitty about it. Trying to send good vibes into the GoFundMe thing. Good vibes work right? Manifesting? All that jazz..
