It is Monday once again and we could all use a good laugh

I tried to organize a marathon for procrastinators. We’re still working on the starting line.

"Not really a procrastinator, more like a natural disaster."

"You know I'm just as brave as Harry, I swear. I can be brave. I can do things like the others. I'm just a little more clumsy and a little more awkward...and okay maybe I'm a little cowardly..."

"I try though I want to be helpful..."

“ bravery is overrated . you don't really need it in order to do anything . ” wednesday's flat tone and rather unamused expression gives a blatant impression of a lack of care , though she truly is trying to be genuine . “ if you want to do something , do it . ”

she nearly turns around and leaves it at that . until she pauses , remembers what another friend of hers had told her . being nice is what gets people places .

rather awkwardly ― it's now readable on her face ― wednesday takes in a breath and continues . “ and . um . . . if you find cowardice stopping you . . . you can find me . ” there's a pause , and extra moment of awkwardness . “ . . . you know , as a last resort . ”

"You don't think I really need bravery? You know that Harry has it in spades and he saves people all the time. I look up to that but I don't think I could ever do it. I don't think I could be a hero type though. I trip on my shoelaces just thinking about walking. I don't know," he blushed, looking at her with a smile.

"You think I can find you if I just....I want to?"

"Look I know why you're here, you think you know me. You don't know me and just because you think you're better than me doesn't mean you are. You're just here to give yourself a boost cause you feel down on your luck and I'm not letting you."

"Harry, is that how you see yourself? Cause that's not how I see you. You're the bravest boy in our year and you're the most caring of all the other Gryffindors. You've stood up for me more times than I can c-count. Being a hero has nothing to do with the psychopath chasing you....it has everything to do with how you handle the situations and how you treat others. And you've always been kind, Harry. Always."

Harry scoffed, "It's not bravery- it was common sense. No one else was going to do what I did. I'm not a hero, I'm just the one stupid enough to let the wizarding world rely on me." The anger in his tone is like a flash- and as soon as it had appeared it disappeared, "Just... be yourself Neville. Trying to be someone else is just going to make you like Lockhart- remember him? You should be proud of who you are."

"That's where you're wrong Harry. Wanting to be like someone doesn't make you like Lockhart, Lockhart wanted to be himself and he wanted to take the credit of other witches and wizards. I'm not like him. I know that I've never been the bravest....or the strongest. I-I can't go toe to toe with Malfoy like you do," he paused for a minute letting out a breath. "But I don't want to take credit for what you did. I just want to...learn from you....to be like you. I know that I'm not going to make anyone proud bumbling around....and losing things or being clumsy..."

It's as though Neville is going through a bit of a spiral back in time when he looks at his potion professor. He'd been nearly out of school for a year but he was left there stammering as he looked at Severus Tobias Snape. The man that had tormented him for his childhood. "If you're here to cause trouble, I'll tell you to g-get out."

"Oh I'm the ideal, am I?" Harry sneered before turning his gaze away from his fellow Gryffindor. "Targeted by a psychopath. tortured at fourteen and fifteen? The entire world has thought I'm crazy or the heir of Slytherin..." he paused, his expression softening. "You don't want to be like me, Neville. No one should want to be me- be yourself."

“Don’t be afraid.” From Blaise, unprompted

"I'm not afraid. Why do you think I'm afraid?" He looked at Blaise with a sort off puffed up appearance. He'd always known that many would jeer at him before. He was something of an underdog. "Are you afraid?"

"Neville..." Harry sighed, this brought back memories to their first year- when he'd tried to stop them from going after the stone. But Harry had known he had to stop voldemort, because he was the only one that would- he had been justified unlike Neville... right?

There's a moment's hesitation in Harry's green eyes, "Please don't push this Neville."

"I'm going to push Harry. You can't stop me from helping you." He had a determination in him that was like kindling to a fire. He turned his gaze to the green eyes with his blue. "You never thought I could help but now I can. I'm not just the spare."

"You have more than two friend that can help...I'm not going to be pushed aside."
