"A wedding without an open bar is just…criminal." the comment uttered beneath her breath was partly to herself, but not so discreet that the person alongside her couldn't hear. Quite contrary of her effortless silence, Scout lacked the charisma to strike up conversations with ease. Yet She would not ascribe her niche antisocial behavior to modesty but rather selectiveness. People talked too much, in her opinion, therefore her philosophy was, I simply don't speak if I have nothing to say.

"An open bar?", Elizabeth inquired, her tone curious yet still soft. She hasn't been in a wedding with such a thing before. Based on the tone of the other woman, however, that was a norm. Maybe things were really different on this side of the world. "Perhaps the bride and groom are trying to prevent things from getting out of hand? It is their special day after all." She looked over to the couple she brought up who were having their first dance as husband and wife, a soft sparkle visible in her eyes. "If it brings you comfort, I am more than happy to share any alcoholic beverage I receive with you."

aurelia was the kind of person who went into parties with the intention of getting in some sort of scandal. there was an adrenaline rush from getting into the headlines for all the wrong reasons. also, it meant getting a call from mom and dad which was always a plus. but once the adrenaline rush ended, she was left with the same emptiness. outside of this party, she was feeling that ache that she could never seem to get rid of. but she couldn't let anyone know that's how she was feeling so instead she lashed out. "take a picture, it'll last longer," she said to the person staring at her.

It was unlike Elizabeth to show up in parties like this, but her mother advised her that trying it out might help her make up for all the time that she failed to do things just because she wanted to. A few drinks in and she was starting to understand the reason behind the surprising advice. It was refreshing to let go of who she was supposed to be at the door and just enjoy herself. It was still overwhelming though so she decided to get some air. While doing that, she ended up staring blankly into space for a bit and it dawned on her that to those around, she might have been staring at them. That seemed to be the case for the brunette who spoke to her. "My apologies for the prolonged stare. I was lost in my thoughts."

bash was not the type to usually go out to clubs and party, but his costars had dragged him to yet another party. it's not like he didn't like parties but he didn't necessarily like partying. he just found fun in other ways. he promised to be the designated driver tonight because someone had to do it and it might as well be him. that's the kind of person he was, always looking out for everyone else except for himself. "oh no, thank you, i'm the dd," he said to someone who asked if he wanted to get a drink. "but thanks for the offer, i appreciate it!"

The party scene was something that Hiraya was not a stranger to so being in such a scene and enjoying herself while being responsible is something that she's gotten the hang of. It's for that reason that her PR manager does not attempt to stop her from spending her nights like this anymore. She was on her way to the bar when her eyes landed on him. It wasn't the first time it happened that night, not when he seemed to not be enjoying himself. It was the first time that she approached him with the hopes of changing that though. "Ah, that makes sense! What are you drinking then? And more importantly, would you like some new company?"

daisy wasn't used to being recognized in public. she wasn't the biggest name yet and most of her fans had abandoned her when she was shunned by the christian contemporary music scene. but some of them must've stuck by her side because they had just asked her for a picture. "sure! i'd love to take a picture!" she says with a smile, grateful. as soon as the picture is taken and the fan leaves, daisy takes a deep breath. "you must get that kind of thing all of the time," she says to someone she recognizes.

The sudden need for caffeine prompted Hiraya to head to a cafe instead of going home after a long day at work and, unsurprisingly, she was stopped on the way inside by both the paparazzi and some fans. That has been part of her routine at this point in her career, but that wasn't the case for the familiar face who spoke to her. "Ay, I do. It is one of the best and unfortunately also one of the worst parts of the job. How are you liking it?"

For most of her life, Elizabeth has made decisions based on what her paternal grandmother deemed best for the firstborn in their family. One would think that because no matter what she did, her grandmother's approval was never given to her, she would have stop listening and do what she wanted instead but that unfortunately wasn't the case. Not when insecurity is what primarily controlled her. It took the sudden move to Los Angeles for that to change. It wasn't a challenge for her to adjust and to finally figure out who she really was, but she was working on it. Thanks to a friend she has made, the very friend seated across her right now, that was not as difficult as it would have been to do it alone. She handed a glass of wine to the the other woman. "I apologize for the slight untidiness. I underestimated how much of an arduous task moving in a new home would be."

Elizabeth knew that of all her siblings, it was Adelaide who was most upset about the sudden change in the life of family and as much as she wanted to change her mind about it, the best that she can do was help make the transition easier for her younger sister. Coming over to the new Windsor family home and cooking her favorite food, like she was doing tonight, was one of her ways of doing so. Once the food was ready, she made her way upstairs and knocked on the younger Windsor's door. "It's just me, Addie.", she said just in case Adelaide wanted to keep her distance from their parents again before opening the door. "I made you dinner."

"When I was told that we would be receiving donations from the LA Kings, I did not expect that it would be -" She gestured towards the boxes of autographed hockey gear and trading cards in front of them. "-this." And that wasn't even the biggest surprise of the day for her. The captain of said team showing up along with the donations for the kids was. "You didn't have to do all this. Thank you."

It's been a long time since the two of them were alone together. How long exactly? Well, Elizabeth was unsure. What she as sure of was what happened the last time it happened. With that memory in mind, it was difficult for her to start a conversation with Soyer at first but then she remembered her mother's advice. Always keep a brave face on. "I never thought that you would buy that.", she said with a quick laugh upon approaching him. "But this is not the first time that you surprised me."

Standing against the railing of her balcony, Hiraya tried her best to distract herself by watching the people walking outside. The view gave her a temporary sense of comfort until her nerves kicked in again, and she found herself nervously tapping her fingers against a cocktail glass while waiting for her companion for the night. "For a while there, I thought you wouldn't show up.", she admitted with a quick laugh once Soo finally knocked on the door and she opened it. "I may have drank ahead because of that but I made you a drink already too so you can catch up soon!"
