"oh my goodness, congratulations!" on instinct alone, or perhaps an assumed social necessity, ferah leaned in and hugged them following the news they'd just shared with her. "when did you find out or get the confirmation?" the question came as she was pulling back from the embrace. it seemed fresh given the excitement and the fact that she'd been in the right place at the right time to be the first person to be told, to find out. "this is what you wanted, right?"
She had just told Ferah about another editorial she was set to shoot for during the summer. Her schedule was packed. Cherie however wasn't necessarily expecting the hug, and it took her a second to reciprocate.
Cherie didn't see Ferah as competition, because in her mind once she acknowledged her as such then she'd have to worry about her own position... though she certainly didn't write her off or underestimate her by any means. Needless to say, she played nice but she figuratively kept her eyes on Ferah.
"Just yesterday actually. So, it's something else I can add to my already packed schedule." Cherie said with a smile, being sure to slip in how busy she was.
A slight laugh came from her lips upon hearing what Ferah said next.
"Of course. Why would I not? How about you? Any new shoots or walks or social media endorsements?" She asked curiously, gazing at her with her cat-like eyes.

holding a cup of hot chai in her hand, after being finished with her private classes for the morning, mila found herself around the reservoir looking at the skyline of the west side from the east. she did find central park to be obnoxious at times, but beautiful at most. she was so spaced out with her airpods in her ears listening to whatever podcast was in the background of her walk, that she didn't even realize someone was talking. “ i'm sorry. ” the ballerina says as she takes out one airpod. “ were you talking to me ? ”
Cherie was out walking after her husband managed to convince her to go out and walk their dog despite the fact she had begged him to do it due to how busy she had been, but she relented when she saw their little furry boy's cute face.
On her walk, she noticed that someone had dropped something and they weren't too far away, so she picked it up and caught up to her.
"Yeah. You dropped this. Better that I picked it up than my dog." Cherie said.

About Cherie...
Born and raised as an only child in Madrid, Spain by rich parents who wanted her to work for her money instead of simply receiving it, Cherie moved around a lot as a kid. She received a high education and after her schooling was officially over, she finally had time to figure out what she really wanted to do with her life... and that was to be a model. She grew up watching models on TV and wanted to be a model when she got older... and when she reached the age of 20, she had achieved her dream and all of the trials and tribulations that came with it.
Cherie started in New York. A small apartment in the West Village. She'd do photoshoots around the city and help pay the rent. One day, one of her photoshoots caught the attention of House Matarazzo and the rest was history. Catwalk after catwalk, photoshoot after photoshoot, Cherie was made to be a model and as time went on, she wasn't just a model, fame accompanied her status as a model as well as Cherie becoming a household name.
The fame came fast and she was determined to keep it on lock. So, she did more photoshoots, more catwalks... until she could no longer stop doing them. Now, being a model is what she truly is... she can't stop being a model and she refuses to slow down for anyone or anything. Cherie has an addiction to fame, to money, to seeing herself on billboards or trending on top social media pages... she also has an addiction to not so healthy relationships... mostly the two men she chose to marry... one became her ex husband and the current husband has been having trouble in paradise with Cherie lately.
Cherie is high maintenance, demanding, a diva, she's a perfectionist and very blunt. She doesn't mean to hurt feelings but, she prefers for people around her to have a thicker skin. She can be a difficult person to be around because she's simply never satisfied. She refuses to rest if she's not at the top of someone's photoshoot list. She cares about people, but she cares about herself way more and is unapologetic about it. She has an old Hollywood toughness to her that isn't so easily gotten rid of due to how stubborn she can be.
